It's fine, and I believe you need to have at least ten messages anywhere on the forum in order to access the signature editor.
 
Is my signature alright? I'm afraid the text might push it over the 160px limit, but I'm having trouble eyeing it. Thanks.
 
Added some text to my signature and was wondering if I was within the limit. Thanks.
