Might as well take a shot at being a GM, welcome to my first Role-Play.


The Next Evolution

Humans and animals, the residents of planet Earth are no longer able to evolve further from what they are now. That’s what scientist thought, well until what is simply known as the The Incident happen thirty years ago, the event was highly covered up by the government and no one of the public knew what truly happened that day. The Incident change the very fabric of the world, inserting a trigger into every living being on Earth to evolve further beyond what they already are. No one knows what this trigger is or what activates the trigger, but when this trigger activates the being evolves. Humans and animals receive mysterious abilities and have been granted the name of Hyper-Evolved Beings. Human Hyper-Evolves are called Emerges, while animal Hyper-Evolves are known as Malignant. Most humans are able to control their abilities, but some humans and animals go berserk when the abilities awaken within them leading to the title of Hellions, leading to the government to take them out permanently. Because of the radical and dangerous set of powers held by the Hyper-Evolves, they are look down upon by many regular humans; especially Emerges. This is why many Emerges hide their powers after awakening, though also many work together to take out Hellions in order to boost up their approval with normal humans. Welcome to the world of humanity’s Next Evolution.


The Hyper-Evolves of the world can have many sorts of different abilities, and because of this the government as classified the Hyper-Evolves into several categories. No one can predict what these powers can be upon awakening.

Mélange- The Mélanges are mix types, these Hyper-Evolves have the abilities of animals. The abilities can range from shape-shifting, mutations or just simply developing specific animal skills and their senses.
-A subtype, though extremely rare are Mélange with the abilities of Prehistoric and Extinct creatures. A major drawback of these abilities is that they are really difficult to control.

Flora- Just like they sound like, the Flora have the ability to control certain types of plants. Manipulating the flora is most common among the users, but with many different possibilities considering the amount of different flora exist on Earth.

Elementals- This name is given to Hyper-Evolves who are able to control elements. Most can controlled the natural elements of the world, but some can even controlled elements from the Periodic Table. The range of these powers are possibly endless.

Techno-Organic- The Hyper-Evolves are given the name of Techno-Organics due to their abilities based on Technology. Their abilities can be a jumble since how much technology has been created over the years. This is one of the more complex categories.

Chi- Chi type Hyper Evolves are spiritual based. With Chi skills, the Emerge’s senses are kick up to twelve. Chi focused on many types of skills like increasing strength, creating constructs, and among other things. These Hyper-Evolves have the hardest time in mastering their skills.

Metamorph- Metamorphs are just like they sound like. The users of these types of skills change their bodies akin to metamorphosis. It can simple parts of their bodies or the entirety of it. Many types of these Hyper-Evolves exist in the world, and often change their body in many ways.

Judgements- The most powerful categories of Hyper-Evolves. Judgements usually have Hyper-Evolves that don’t fit into other categories, there is good reason for that. Almost all Awaken Judgements have radically strong powers which are ridiculously hard to control, also containing the worst the drawbacks. Examples of these ridiculous powers could stem from giving everyone in a five-mile radius bad luck or having multiple personalities with each having their own skill sets. Like previously stated before, these are ridiculously hard to control and have the worst drawbacks among the Hyper-Evolves. It literally takes a miracle for a Judgement type Hyper-Evolve to control their powers.


The Rules of this Role-Play: Please Read and Follow accordingly.

1. Standard Bulbagarden Forums and RP Section Rules apply as always.
2. No Godmodding your character or auto-hitting.
3. No Bunnying(If you’re new to Roleplaying, this means using other people’s characters without their permission).
4. At max, players are able to have two characters. Your character is also not require to have powers.
5. Your character(s) may know other characters before the RP begins, but only if both players agree.
6. Inactivity for long periods of time will be punished unless there is contact with myself before this occurs.
7. There will be an OOC Thread after the Start Up is made(if this RP goes through at all is the bigger question), where you’ll be able to ask questions and discuss about this Role-Play.
8. Remember, be nice to your fellow users, if anything gets out of hand I will be forced to bring a Moderator in, and we don’t want that do we.
9. The GM words are law, and of course the Moderator’s law is higher.

Name: Luka Auburn.

Gender: Male

Age: 20.

Appearance: 5’8 in height. Silver hair. Hazel-colored eyes. Mixed descent of British and American. Often-wears khakis of all kinds with a t-shirt with some kind of iglesia, and a hooded jacket.

Sexuality:Heterosexual(Straight).

Personality: Luka is a kind person, but he never really acts on it. Mostly because of his powers that awaken. Luka focuses on really containing powers most of the time, so he is usually disdainful to others though the most kindest of heart can get through to him.

Backstory: Under the attack of an Hellion, Luka’s power awaken trying to protect his family. Though his powers awaken he was unsuccessful in saving his family, and destroy the Hellions. Taken in by a fellow Emerge, he continually train to master his newfound powers and hold back the dangerous drawback of them. He never speaks about this event.

Hyper-Evolve Category: Judgement.

Ability: Luka can summon a armor-like structures around his body, allowing him to increasing his strength, speed, jumping height, and stamina, as well as summon a cool sword. He can summon parts of it, to limit his drawback from emerging.

Spoiler: This is what I would think it would look like.

I just imagined this form all black with some grey in place of the yellow.

Drawbacks: At first glance Luka seems to be a lucky Judgement Hyper-Evolve but what really is his drawback, is the second conscious that haunts his brain. This personality wants nothing but to fight Emerges, Malignant, Hellions, anything. Luckily, he can hold it back in his human form; but summoning his full armor can draw the personality out, or even when Luka is angry. All it wants to fight and destroy, though Luka seems to notice that it might have a sense of honor.

Extra: He plays the harmonica, a lot.



Name: Diana Belladonna.

Gender: Female

Age: 25.

Appearance: 5'6, an inch higher if she’s wearing heels. Blonde with a dashes of dark blue dye all over braided in a hair bun. One eye orange-hazel like, one eye green due to heterochromia. Usually wears a sundress or winter dress with a leather jacket. Has a red star-shaped earring pierced into her left ear.

Sexuality: Bisexual.

Personality: The kindest person you’ll ever meet. Diana treats anyone normal or Emerge with respect, but she’ll never tolerate mean behavior like bullying and will immediately step into fights to end them. Her friends call her the Ultimate Mediator.

Backstory: Diana was raised in a family who hate Emerges with a burning passion. But to her she never could hate them, especially after her best friend became an Mélange and was ostracized from their community. Though Diana never gave up on her, even if it meant being outcasted. Because of this, she is a lead activist in the equality of normal humans and Emerges.

Hyper-Evolve Category: No powers activated

Extra: Diana runs a Tea Shop named "Der Ort, den wir wünschen" which is German for “The Place we Wish.” Where both humans and Emerges are served equally.

Name: Tri

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Appearance: 5'5 tall, brown medium length hair, dark blue eyes, pale skin, and thin build. Wears various shirts, jeans, and always winter boots.

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: Tri is a quirky, sarcastic goof who's a bit of a outlier but friendly. He's rather fidgety and energetic, and acts out strongly against injustice and cruelty, defending friends to a extreme extent.

Backstory: Tri generally just enjoys life on his own, orphaned at age 2 in a car crash. When his abilities were triggered he was run out of the orphanage and his hometown by normal people, and now is just a wanderer.

Hyper-Evolve category: Chi

Ability: Tri can create constructs out of the surrounding material, providing a vessel for one of 4 different spirits (for lack of better term), each with it's own personality, fighting style, and appearance. The spirits are: Shein, a ninja-like, nimble insectiod, Ralo, a small mammalian creature with dirty tactics, Hert, a simple, large amoebic mass, and Kirra, a powerful humanoid warrior. Each enters said vessel and projects their own preferred appearance onto it. (I.e instead of just a skeleton of sticks and stones you'd see facial features and skin)

Drawbacks: Tri is limited to surrounding material, and that poses a disadvantage sometimes. Only one spirit can be used at a time, and while not in use are simply voices in Tri's head, which can hinder him in some ways. Each spirit also has it's own assorted weaknesses mentally and physically, and can go rouge. Prolonged keeping up a construct also wears Tri out.

Okay I would just like to clarify some things in your sign up. First, what do you mean by orphaned at birth? Was he just a few months old when this crash happen?

Second, please be specific on the number of spirits he has access, and what these spirits can do. Your drawback works fine, but without a bit more information on the way Tri's powers work; to me, you're bordering on Judgement-type territory.

Just edit those to tell me those specifics and you're good!!
