-Haxorus Lv50(I was desperate to evolve it before the 8th gym). Swords dance, dragon claw,

Earlier this week I finally beat Pokemon FireRed!

Team:
- Lv.53 Dragonair (Surf/Thunder Wave/Dragon Rage/Twister)
- Lv.55 Jolteon (Thunderbolt/Thunder Wave/Sand Attack/Bite)
- Lv.56 Lapras (Surf/Ice Beam/Confuse Ray/Strength)
- Lv.57 Pidgeot (Fly/Wing Attack/Quick Attack/Feather Dance)
- Lv.58 Charizard (Flamethrower/Blast Burn/Dig/Dragon Claw)
- Scyther (trainee, sub-Lv.50 with Exp.Share)

Not the best movesets, I know, but that's just how the single-player story team goes.

- Phoebe's Ice types weren't much threat to Jolteon and Lapras.
- Bruno's Onixes and Fighting types didn't last long against Lapras, Dragonair's Surf, and Pidgeot's Feather Dance.
- Agatha was a pain with Poison and Sleep all over the place (lost many turns due to healing my Pokemon), but somehow, I survived.
- Lance was epic, but some Thunderbolts (Jolteon vs. Gyarados, for one) and Ice Beams put down his dragons.

The final match against my rival actually turned out more level than it had any right to be considering my relatively low levels, but I basically Thunder Waved everything I could and Surfed everything I couldn't.

I'm playing through Sapphire version for the first time (I had to get a used copy off the internet). I am currently leveling up my mons on Jagged Pass waiting to take on Flannery. My party mons are level 28 now, today (while at work!) I was able to train Grovyle from lvl 27 to 29 and get some steps in to hatch the egg that I received from the Hot Springs.

Focusing on finishing my Platinum game. Currently in Mt. Coronet, but unfortunately my team was too weak for the double battle with me and Dumbo (Rival) against Mars and Jupiter. Bringing Lucario and Sneasel out of the box and leveling them up to see what I can do. God, do I hate leveling up in this game, though.

I just restarted my FireRed about three minutes ago, named my player "RED" and picked Charmander as my starter. I bred a level 5 Bulbasaur and Squirtle in LeafGreen and I'm going to make my team as if I was Red, including eventually evolving Eevee into Espeon like he had in G/S/C and also getting Snorlax and Lapras, which were a part of his team in Hg/Ss/B2/W2

You know you're going to need a Hoenn game for that, right? (No internal clock in FRLG.) If you want one before beating the E4, you'll need a second copy of FRLG that has beaten the game (i.e. can trade with Hoenn) to use as a middleman.

Last night I managed to beat Flannery. She was no match for my Pelipper and Gravler. I received the Go-Goggles from May and I am currently training on Route 111. I have to find out which fossil I took on Emerald version so I can pick the opposite one on Sapphire.

Going through gen 3 and completing the pokedex on all 5 games. Will be recording progress every few days here.
I already started Ruby and Sapphire but I will recorded FR/LG from day one.

Just restarted White 2 using a combination of two random generators online (one for gender and starter selection, one a name generator for names and nicknames (using an elf name generator, because why the bleep not) and your suggestions. What are your suggestions for? The other five members of my team, of course! Shoot me a PM or VM to let me know which Pokemon I should add to my team, and I'll be using that first generator again to choose which five Pokemon will join (if more than five). Just keep it limited to what I can get in the main game without trading.

Tonight, the journey of Aearwen began like any journey that takes place in White 2. She started with a male Snivy, nicknamed Lugon, and defeated her childhood friend-turned-rival Limdor and his Tepig.

i'm currently playing pokemon blue, i have a squirtle named coolio, pikachu named snoop dogg (yes i know it's a stupid name go ahead shoot me), and a nidoking named janus. i also have a wigglytuff named....wigglytuff.
i just recently beat pewter gym, traveled through mt.moon, went to bill's, helped him. got the s.s ticket and then saved the game outside his house.

Started a new game with Platinum last night. I normally don't play videogames this much, but since there was nothing to do I clocked in about 3-4 hours last night. My team as it stands right now:

lv. 12 Kricketune

- I'm thinking about playing through Platinum, Black, and Black 2 with using the Water starter this time, since I used Fire-type since Gen III. Think I'll continue the Water-type trend with any new games after ORAS.

- This is the first time I've used a Bug-type. And I'm enjoying it. I plan on catching either a Ralts or a Buneary for my 6th Ranger.

- Almost forgot how challenging the Gyms are in this game... whoops. Roark almost killed me, but my Shinx came through. I made the mistake of having only my Piplup being even-leveled with his Cranidos. Everybody else was 2 levels below.

As a side-note, it's so weird playing this game after you've gotten so used to the new-ness of X/Y/ORAS. Especially the lack of Fairy-type 'mons and Megas.

I had forgotten what Rowan was supposed to be studying, and it's Pokémon evolution. If there's another game remake that I would want that includes the Mega-Evolution plot, I want it to be D/P/Pt. There's some potential for these games to incorporate it into the main plot, that's for sure.

Hello going through crystal version right now. On route 32 about to go back into Union Cave. Togepi came out of the egg on route 36. In the start I chose Cyndaquil. Before arriving in Violet City and receiving the Zephyr badge and visiting the Sprout Tower me and Cyndaquil went into Dark Cave and found Teddiursa. Cannot decide if the Pokemon Stantler would be ok..no Pokemon is ever weak!!!!

A lot has happened since my last post here. I managed to play through Sapphire version, beating the Elite 4 last night.
I have continued playing Soul Silver version since I never finished it. I currently have 7 badges and my mons are level 42.

So when I got LG I also got FR so I could, you know, literally catch them all. So I played through LG and only used FR for the version-exclusives. To this end, I ninja-dodged a bunch of trainers and skipped a few gyms to get the super-rod and get down to the Safari Zone as quickly as possible, and after getting the Safari Zone pokemon I wanted I basically abandoned FR.

Until now. I decided, hey there are legendaries to catch on there, so why the heck not? So I decided to "continue" on from where I was... which was a total mess cause I didn't know what gyms I had skipped and kept running into routes that had some trainers that were already defeated and then a random few whom I'd skipped. Also I had like no pokemon on there since I had traded almost everyone over. I had poor little Sabre (Growlithe) whom I had been using to catch trash pokemon with to trade to LG and port forward from FR cause my copy of LG won't port forward for whatever reason, and then had forgotten to port him forward. I was in Vermillion City at this point and Sabre was like lv 26. I also had a few pokemon forgotten in one of my PC boxes: a Bulbasaur named Rawr (about lv 16), a Gyrados I had evolved named Kraitos (lv 20, apparently transferred over from LG and forgotten about), a lv 12 Pikachu named Rairai, a lv 26 Hypno named Slepz, and a lv 14 Nidorino creatively named Nidokun. So I had to do like hours of level-grinding to get them up to speed cause I was on like the fifth gym badge and there was no way these guys were gonna be able to get through that.

Now they are lv 37, 42, 40, 38, 40, and 36, respectively, and we're levelling up a bit in the Pokemon Mansion before going off to kick Blaine in the face. I really wish I had a moon stone to evolve Nidokun though~ oh well.

I've been on a game bing, going through the games in random order by preference, I'm juggling between ORAS and a new Y file. Even if all the old Pokemon in Y exist, I always prefer to go for an exclusive new gen run for the first game. 2 years later, and making a Kalos team is still a bitch. I've even conceded the final slot is going to be a Mega, and have one old Pokemon. I'm with:

I'm before Santalune gym, and thinking of a Temp because the final team is a long way off. What I have in mind is:
