^ may one day decide to use a microwavable chamber to expand tufts of marshmallow peeps.

o_O Seriously, an hour or two before I saw that you were on here, I was wondering about you and said, "Ohmigod he's dead. D:" because I'm paranoid like that. I'm happy you're not dead. XD

Yeah, I probably should have said something before leaving for a while. Story is, I decided to take a break from the world of the internet, at least sites I visited constantly in order to shift my priorities towards my work. Between engineering and my personal life, I found I was rather swamped at the end of the day and found myself catching up with everything that I did. I didn't want to keep lagging behind, so I had to do a major overhaul in my life and lead me to dropping tons of activities sucking up my time.

The good news is, now I feel I've got everything managed to a point where I can start moving between the internet and other goals without losing large swaths of time, though I still won't be able to show up as constantly as I did back in the day.

Though, I must appreciate your concern, Kthleen, especially after having been gone without a trace. I'm sorry I might have worried you, or any of you other guys.

Well, with further reassurance, I'm back now, and I'll be around. Just don't be surprised if I don't respond for days at a time.

^Doesn't know somebody who was made of food items, lived on the moon, "played" a ladle like an instrument, and has had a song written about them

I can't blame you. As long as you did what you needed to do and don't feel so overwhelmed now, it's good. Welcome back.

Now that leaves me wondering where Ratochu got to....

^Isn't a rebellious turtle, seeking glory outside the terranium... if only your owner would set you down outside it and look away for a split second...

Depends on what you mean by "speak." I fluently speak only English, but know some French (my mind didn't hold onto it too well, though...) and a tiny bit of Japanese. I can discern some patterns in Spanish and can sometimes guess what words mean by either context or using French cognates, which is awesome fun. However, I don't really speak these languages (including itsy bitsy tiny little bits of Chinese, Latin, German, and Italian) beyond saying the occasional random word/phrase and singing along with songs.
