^ had a particularly interesting birth.
^ will be informed about the truth behind the Furret as soon as ^^ comes back.

^^Is wrong about that, but I did randomly call my dog Purple Rain yesterday o_O
What an astounding coincidence, I guess.

Not bearing on your circumstance, but that's how everything has felt for me recently... chance meetings with familiar persons in the oddest of settings, simply astounding. OO

^Didn't bring the world and its inhabitants into an odd equilibrium with absolutely no death

^Loves pink ferrets too much
Not particularly. Ferrets are cute, Sentret/Furret are okay, and I don't like pink. Heck if I know why I chose a shiny Furret....
4-10-09 update: I remember why now. ._.

Nope/nope/nope/nope, but what's-his-face was kind of cute when he had longer black hair/sometimes.

Long post is looooong...

^ may mind if ^ were suddenly asked to write a response paper to how Mary had a Little Lamb were related to the United State's current quagmire with Iraq and had to be argued in 3 pages or more.

But He is soo good at parkour !! when I try to parkour, I always get hit and in the floor !
Well, parkour is a tough sport. In fact, it's probably a bit more difficult than most considering the dangerous obstacles that may be encountered while preforming.

I guess I'm involved in a minor form of it, climbing on whatever I feel I can get away with, but I don't go too far for fear of getting caught. If you keep landing flat on the ground, the only reasonable advice is to simply practice. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. It could be worse, at least you're not falling from 5 stories up ;).

Also keep in mind Shinji is just an anti-hero, the one portrayed to look "all that" and then some so of course he'll be a jack-of-all trades while still retaining his class act jerkiness. I don't really think he was made to be 'likable' per-se so much as to just make Ash look better [morally].

I presume this may have some relevance to your culinary class. Am I correct?
A few to many angry blowfish to cut?

Sure. It seems everyday I'm running into a familiar scene a new 'old face', or rather someone whom I've known but never actually have seen for quite sometime.

A prime example is my encounter with my old web/java teacher from high school. After a long day out collecting goods like books and food, I had to journey back to campus on the metro [subway], thinking to myself "ah, another hum-drum routine. I'll be back in no time." While waiting to transfer to the train that takes me back to campus, a dull exhausted Mr. Green [teacher] pops out of the last train to that particular station. I'm drained myself, so I wasn't as inclined to speak up and shout out, [of course I'm never usually in the mood to yell to people] but fortunately his companion was able to perk up to my voice and tap him on the shoulder. Much to my delight, it was in fact my old teacher from high school! We worked out our introductions [I wasn't familiar with his companion] and we were off to reminiscing. We were even able to keep our conversation going for one stop since he was sorta heading in my direction.

This comes on the heels of talking to friends whom I've not yet seen on campus using Mr. Green as an example for the chance encounters I was having with people whom I haven't seen.

Ok, re-worded and explained, I met Mr. Green in our campus's community dining hall one afternoon freshman year. I thought 'whoa!' why here, at the place I eat to meet him here on campus? [insert interesting dialog here]. Since then I've used that as an example or conversation piece for those whom I've not seen in a long time. For the two weeks prior to this, seemingly, all I've been doing was talking to people whom I've not seen for some time and using this example. The fact I ran into Mr. Green again, on a Sunday afternoon somewhere in the middle of DC floored me! [figuratively of course >_>]

[this happened this past Sunday]

[the following takes place sometime last week]

This has been happening to even people in this new community I'm in. Similar to how you don't recognize names, I wasn't quite familiar with the guy who offered me a ride back to my room. He seemed to know me like we've been friends forever, picked me up while waiting for a bus back to my Apt. Took me a while to figure out who he was and when it clicked we were pretty close to my Apt. I was astounded by his courtesy, considering I think I've only talked with him on less than a dozen occasions. Still, it's been a while since I talked to him.

[some time in Late August]

Another example to this was a third grade mate of mine. At a local grocery store, I'd been shopping and looking for some cooking supplies and heard a sudden shriek followed by my name. As astonished as I was, there was this girl who insisted she knew me but I hadn't the faintest clue whom she was. Now as she began to further inquiry my 'history,' we were in the same classes together back in elementary school and her face started to become more familiar, but no name. *gasp* After she finally gave up with me trying to guess her name, [I think all was forgiven ^^;;] we had a good chat and started talking about other classmates and what'd they been up to if we were still in contact with them.

But are you kidding me! After 11+ years, you can recognize me?! I think she'd make an amazing forensics agent, lol.

Names are a funny thing. I can never get a name remembered unless I've talked with a person on a regular basis. Faces are a little different and I have little trouble recognizing people by their face. The thing that sucks about this is how when people recognize me, they recognize both my face AND my name where as I'm only able to recognize their face. The thing that gets me is how regularly this happens. People whom I've never considered being as close to, and these are mostly people I've probably talked to less than 6 times, recognize me like I've talked to them just yesterday. In many circumstances I'm able to get their name before the end of a conversation, but unfortunately the only circumstance where this hasn't worked out was at a Target where someone was trying to get my attention, but since I was busy, didn't have time for a chat. [regrettable] :/
