I guess that when I looked it up, I only saw "Speaking in a lofty [='noble,' in my mind] style" instead of "Speaking in a lofty style; pompous; bombastic."Really? By it's definition, grandiloquent doesn't sound like much of a compliment.
^^; don't we all, then of course, some people would just gut at your brains to get you to stop speaking so lustrously. [But I guess that's after breaching the point of grandiloquent.And I do indeed wish I could speak in an awe-inspiring, majestic manner....
