While there is an almost endless amount of Pokémon merchandise available for any kind of fan, Japanese design studio Nendo is again partnering with the Pokémon Company to offer a subtle homewares collection aimed at adult fans of the franchise. Nendo, the design firm which earlier this year helped create the high-end Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic, utilizes the color palette from each featured Pokémon to create a geometric pattern, which it applies to totes, wall clocks, mugs, plates, and more.
From the preview photos available on Nendo’s website, Pokémon featured in the new collection will include Gen 1 favorites Blastoise, Venusaur, Charizard, Pikachu, Eevee and its three original evolutions, Mew, Snorlax, and Jigglypuff, among others. A Pokéball design will also be available. Previews of the collectionare available to view now, with the 75-piece collection available for purchase on Nendo’s website starting on September 1st, for delivery from late October. Prices for items in the collection start at ¥JPY 1,430 (including tax) for specific designs of the Pokémon Mosaic Plate, and go as high as ¥JPY 14,300 (including tax) for a Pokémon Mosaic Wall Clock. The entire line will be eligible for shipping worldwide, with support in English available for international customers.
