Or is the GB decrease from the Eshop explained? Still weird it went from 12gb down to 6GB

I hope that means that the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs are repurposed to be like the Griseous Orb for future Pokemon games, now that these forms are added. I'm also kind of happy it's not a fusion this time because it would be impossible to have both Dialga and Palkia in those forms if they were actually fusions.

Unlike BDSP to my knowledge theres no large game mechanics or locations obviously missing so gamefreak might have just gotten help with compression.

I know there are new items, but it's likely that these new items might not be appearing in Pokemon games after Legends: Arceus, which repurposing the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs to fully act like the Griseous Orb is the perfect alternative in the scenario that these new items might not make it in the next games.

Well according to Centro their form names are called origin form so it is more likely that adamant orb and lustrous orb will be repurpose inthe future considering griseous orb is named griseous core in this game

Based on the story they are definitely the adamant and lustrous orbs they are just named differently because they were once accessories of the clan leader given to them from inheritance

Something interesting I found about the music.
It's all in .bnk files (with two .pck files), which are in the Wwise format. There are computer programs that can unpack Wwise format.

Anyone else actually like the arceus-DP fusions? I am like the only person on the internet that actually likes the palkia fusion.

It's going to take time for me to get used to it, but once I do, I'll be fine. It's just a bit of a shock.

I don't like new Dialga and Palkia as a design unless if being ugly is the point. I've seen them in-game too and... yeah as I expected these designs just aren't working for me. I will get used to them but that still means they won't be a favorite. A shame since I like the dragons otherwise.

Either way, I still kind of like Palkia the best but Dialga is growing on me.

Considering how Arceus is venerated a lot (albeit as almighty Sinnoh), that totally could be.
I will point out that it's interesting because Hisui at that point could have been influenced by Christianity because of the opening of Japan and the Meiji Restoration (Hisui takes place during the reign of Meiji), and the Kakure Kirishitan having been (secret) Christians.

The new forms are Origin forms, so it could be that they originally had a similar appearance to Arceus before they lost the form.

I believe there is a theory out there based on the library myths that Dialga and Palkia were once part of Arceus instead of being just created from nothing... or rather part of whatever the Original One is that became Arceus. So it would make sense if they originally looked like him too.

In a sense, Dialga and Palkia can be considered being part of Arceus, recombined with their creator while in their Origin form, not in a physical way, but more of a spiritual way, according to the theory off course.

Yeeze, the move cut was pretty nasty unless a bunch of moves were made much more common. A ton of moves got nerfed, too.
