If you ever need to teach a lot of moves to your Pokémon, (for contests, for example,) then there being only one of a lot of moves in each game can be annoying. So this is a list of all the moves that can be bought and used time and time again, (provided you have the money, of course.)

I will not be using the Gamecube games for this as they have no variety. The coupon exchange has the same TMs as the Mauville Game Corner and the Under/Realgam Pokémarts have the same TMs as Lilycove City and Hidden Power. I'm also only doing the 3rd generation due to the lack of backwards compatability.

There's also the breading aspect of TM passing, where you can pass moves to multiple pokemon if you are good enough at chain-breeding. Rest is an example as many pokemon can learn it.
