While browsing YouTube, I accidentaly stumbled across these and found them very interesting, they are both prototype versions of Family Guy:
The first is a prototype animated sitcom that ultimately never picked up, the second was an animated short on Cartoon Network, the main difference (asides from the coloring and the improved animation) is that the first is more like the final show while the second one is formatted differently and focuses more on a prototype Brian than the prototype Peter (and is aimed towards a different target audience).
What's even MORE interesting is that scenes (and even dialouge lines) from the first pilot are even recycled in the final show:
It's hard to believe these were the prototypes for Family Guy, so imagine having one of these shows instead of what we have now.
