タコヤキのお好み焼きピザレシピ (takoyaki's okonomiyaki pizza recipe)
What you'll need (other than a pizza pan and a pot!):
So, you did it!! Congratulations again~!! :)
Enjoy!! If you want to eat it again within the next few days (there's probably going to be leftovers, this pizza is really filling!!), I reccomend using an air fryer at 400°F (205°C ofc!!) to heat it up! Make sure it's nice and kinda burnt, or at least crispy, then put it in the microwave for a minute to make sure it's not cold!!
And that's it!!
...To be honest, I'm not exactly sure as to why I typed this whooooooooole recipe out...but it's a recipe that I can call my own?? Which I'm super proud of!!
I hope that if you've tried this, you enjoy it!! Please tell me if you try this recipe out or if you have any questions!!! Thank you!!!!!!!
What you'll need (other than a pizza pan and a pot!):
- Oil (I think any is okay? I tend to use toasted sesame oil)
- Pizza dough (of some kind, I just use store-bought fresh dough)
- Yakisoba noodles (around 3 servings is in a usual pack, so do all 3!!)
- Yakisoba sauce (ingredients for that are below, if you'd rather not buy some on your own)↓
- 4 tbsp (tablespoons) of Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tsp (teaspoons) of teriyaki sauce
- 4 tsp (teaspoons) of ketchup
- 2 tsp (teaspoons) of soy sauce
- 2 tsp (teaspoons) of sugar
- Shredded cabbage (don't use too much!! I usually put like, maybe 2 cups in, but do more or less to your heart's content!)
- 2 stalks of spring onions OR green onions/scallions, chopped pretty finely (amount is to your liking!)
- 3-5ish strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled/put into small bits (amount is to your liking!)
- Mozzarella cheese (really just however much you think is enough, if you like lots of cheese use a lot!)
- Panko breadcrumbs (for topping/sprinkling for fun!)
- Kewpie mayo (for garnishing/topping!)
- To make the yakisoba sauce, if you don't have some already, just mix the Worcestershire sauce, teriyaki sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, and sugar together!! And make sure it's combined well. I think you're looking for like, a tangy taste basically? It's sweet too! I think you'll do it right, but feel free to experiment with the proportions that make it taste best to you!!
- To cook the yakisoba noodles, run them under hot water in a strainer first!! Make sure they're loose!
- Then oil your pot, and place the noodles in!! Make sure the oven is on medium-high!
- Just stir the noodles and make sure they're golden-brown? I think that's it...not much of a time I can say??
- Oh, and at a point in time, probably sooner rather than later, make sure to put like 1/2 or 3/4 of the yakisoba sauce into the pot and stir, so the noodles can get some nice nice flavorrrrrr~!!
- Once the yakisoba is done, make sure to take them off of the heat! If you'd like, put (fresh if possible?) black pepper on the yakisoba and stir!!
- So now you're ready for the pizza!! Just stretch out the dough in the best way you know how, for it to fit your pizza pan! (I do about 13 inches)
- Once your dough is ready, preheating the oven to like 400° Fahrenheit (~205° Celsius) would be good!! And poke holes in the dough with a fork to make sure that the dough won't bubble up in the oven!!
- So, use a cooking brush (I don't know what they're called) or something like that to spread your extra yakisoba sauce on the dough! It won't make it soggy or anything, just do enough so that you can see the sauce on every part of the pizza, evenly? Don't use all the sauce (if you can help it), and I don't think you'll need to do so?
- From there, drizzle a bit of Kewpie mayo onto the dough! It's Japan's best mayo brand!! You can leave it in whatever pattern you'd like, but I like a crosshatch-style pattern!!
- Okay, so now you're gonna put stuff into your yakisoba pot!!
- Put the cabbage into the yakisoba pot!
- Put the spring onions/green onions/scallions into the pot!!
- Crumble up the bacon (or chop it up into small bits!!) if you haven't already, and add all of it into the pot!
- Take some mozzarella cheese and put it into the pot too!
- Stir!! Just until you think it's combined enough, basically?
- You might need more cheese, because it's pizza! If that's the case, put some more on and stir!!
- So once everything is mixed together nicely, prepare to put it onto your pizza base/dough!!
- Just...put it on. It probably will seem like A LOT of stuff, and a pretty tall pizza, but it fits fine in the end!!
- If you'd like for it to look like a normal pizza, add some more cheese to the top!!
- Then drizzle some more mayo onto the top!
(Pizza wasn't meant to be healthy~!!☆) - Your pizza should look similar to this!! →
- You're almost done!! So, cover your pizza in foil (I don't know what this does but my mom suggested I do so and it worked well both times??), and then put it in the top rack of the oven, which should be at 400°F (205ish°C)!!
- Then just wait for about 15-20 minutes. I like waiting for a longer period of time!!
- Once the time you want is completed, take the foil off of the pizza!! (I like to take it off the rack using gloves, and take the foil off like that)
- Once the foil is off, put the pizza back into the oven!! This step is only for the cheese on the pizza to brown, so it looks more appealing!!
- Maybe wait like 5-10 minutes after that? Just keep an eye on your pizza so you don't burn it. Burnt pizza is still pizza, but I think that nonburnt pizza is personally way better!!!
- Once you're finally done with the pizza and it looks nice
and not burntand amazing, it's time to finally pull it out of the oven!! Please use gloves or that kinda thing!!! - Uhmmmmm, so now you've gotta garnish it!! Sprinkle some panko breadcrumbs on there!! And if you'd like, use even more Kewpie mayo?? And drizzle some yakisoba sauce on top too~!!♪
- Slice it into the amount you want (I like doing eight!!), and be careful because the toppings are TAPPURI! piled on there!!!
- You're done!! You made pizza yesssssssssssss!!!!! Congrats~!!
Enjoy!!
