Ever seen the Pokémon character bios? They're a riot. And these are copied verbatim from the website- they aren't from some message board.

Officer Jenny is a dreamy lady who our heroes come across in many towns in the land of Pokemon. . . Officer Jenny tries to stop Team Rocket from carrying out their evil plan to capture Pikachu from Ash.

A fellow Pokemon trainer, Misty is a sweet girl who is kind to everyone - except for Ash. She blames him for losing her bike and never stops bugging him about it. . . She usually uses Starmie to help capture more Pokemon and such is her prowess that she is the holder of the coveted WaterBadge.

Tracey is an enthusiastic student of Pokemon and devoted to learning all about them. Her love of them extends to her sketching pictures of every new Pokemon she sees.

Gary is a selfish and wicked Pokemon trainer. He is convinced he's the best trainer in the world and doesn't mind telling anyone who'll listen. The fact is, he is a good trainer but has yet to prove that he's the best. He doesn't share Ash's love of Pokemon. His driving force is the love of winning and competing.

Meowth is a rare and naughty Pokemon who belongs to Team Rocket. He is the brains behind Team Rocket Triple, as he comes up with their evil plans and then gets Jessie and James to agree. He is the one real asset Team Rocket have.

And the best one yet:

Jessie and James are two little kids who are trapped in the bodies of older boys.

Double-yew-tee-eff.

LOL, just awful.

It sounds like a guide for Pokemon, instead of Pokemon Advance as well.

Don't they know about May and Max? And that Tracey and Misty aren't on the show anymore?

Well, to be fair, they did only show the first two seasons until recently. And Tracey and Misty are still characters on the show, whether they are on new episodes or not...and in fact they are both on Chronicles which premiered there and is still being repeated ab nauseum.

Yes, but it shows that those profiles (besides being wrong, (lol at Jessie/James and Tracey description) are old and outdated.

Misty, Tracey and Gary are old news, as the 3 of them only get cameo appeareances now. Those profiles make it sound like they're still main characters. There should be updated bios saying that Misty is a Gym leader, Tracey is with Oak, and Gary is a Professor.

And no profile for May or Max or even new rivals like Drew. Seems like they won't bother updated it for Pokemon Advance's roster.

Has anybody tried e-mailing them to let them know that whoever wrote those profiles must have been on mind-alterating substances?

They are main characters in Kanto and the Orange Islands, which is all that Toonami showed until Pokémon Chronicles came along, which includes Misty and Tracey. Just because they are not in the new show, doesn't mean that they should be removed from the list.

E-mail them if you want, but it is nothing to get worked up about.

Their other show pages are just as bad.

Terry McGinnis (Batman Beyond):
While bringing in some extra cash for the family by working for Bruce Wayne, Terry discovers the Batcave.

Bruce Wayne (Batman Beyond):
http://www.toonami.co.uk/shows/batman_of_the_future/bruce_wayne

The whole thing's funny because it's a bio for the Bruce Wayne of The Batman, not the old Bruce Wayne from Batman Beyond.

Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece):
A one-armed pirate named Shanks took Monkey D. Luffy under his wing when he was a mere chimp to coach him in all things piratey.

When his parrot-on-the-shoulder, shiver-me-timbers training was over Shanks gave Luffy his signature straw hat and a pirate was born.

Toonami are pretty rubbish full stop. I like the fact that they air loads of pokémon episodes a week (usually in the excess of 20). Although the editting's horrible, theme songs aren't often played, no indication of what's being aired, and I *think* to date only one of the trainer choices have been shown throughout the 12 that have featured.
