Start Ups The Tower

[Prez]

"Anyone want to find a place to stay?" Winnie asked. "Because I don't think standing out in the rain is doing us much good." She was not too equipped for wilderness survival. She didn't loathe it, per say (okay, so maybe she did). But, despite looks, she could handle quite a bit.

 

[Midorikawa]

"I guess we might as well use that. We should set up watches. Those of us who don't mind the rain can take first watch."

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"If we do find some sort of shelter, we would need to be sure it wasn't occupied." Brooke thought out loud.

 

[Flaze]

"Agreed," Natalie said, pointing at Brooke.

 

[Yun]

Upon inspection, one of the shelters would reveal itself to be more or less empty. There were lights that were still on, but it was completely devoid of life within. Working machines were inside, and it was obvious that it was warmer inside than out.

 

[Flaze]

Andres felt uneasy about the cave. As he walked inside and rinsed his hair he couldn't help but notice that it was perfectly lit and there were machines inside of it. He walked closer to one of them, inspecting it carefully and wiping out a layer of dust from it.

 

[Prez]

"Machines?" Winnie asked. "Who do you think made those?" She then raised an eyebrow. It felt warmer inside; she could tell because the goosebumps on her arm disappeared.

 

[Hector]

"Anybody a mechanic?" Miles asked as he looked at one of the machines. "I'm not the worst at fixing an engine, but anything beyond getting a motor to start is far beyond me. I'm just curious as to what these things are..."

 

[Flaze]

"I've dabbled..." Natalie muttered as she walked over to the machine Miles was near of. "But only like cars and computers, I've never really seen these things," she stared at the machine for a moment, feeling a bit uneasy.

 

[Midorikawa]

"None here. I'm going to stand watch outside," Amelia told them, leaving the shelter.

 

[Prez]

Winnie walked up to one of the machines, and examined it. "Don't think car experience will help you here," she dryly said.

 

[Flaze]

"Yeah, that's what I figured," Natalie replied with a sigh, inspecting the machine a bit more. "Well, we shouldn't worry about too much, unless it starts moving that is."

 

[Yun]

(OOC: By the way, I should've stated this beforehand - do what you want here. I'll only be controlling threats and adding random stuff, haha.)

"I've had to try and work on my computer at the office on multiple occasions, but I'm not sure if that information would be helpful here." Brooke replied with a small frown as she walked around to inspect the machines.
