Re: the ^ > V game

^^ Not always, but often.
^ Ooh, that sounds appealing somehow.
< Not alone right now. Dammit wifey! Stop looking over my shoulder!
V Alone.

< is slowly disliking this older feeling and -feeling- time itself. Being aware of the time makes it seem to pass slower, but being aware of it I make myself keen on that it is passing. When I'm not aware of it, it seems to pass quickly, it's more fleeting but I tend not to be aware of it so I'm not as ill pressed to see it go. Either way, time takes it's own course, and I'm fine to let it do as it chooses.

Take it from a 54-year old: Enjoy it! Surf time! You'll acquire riches beyond imagining. Besides, if an old fart like me is a mod here and likes it, what the hell are you complaining about?

Re: the ^ > V game

^ may assume that is the case, sure I may be physically 'alone' but still, I feel a slight connection to everyone. I'm contented by the clockwork of the world as everything passes around me. As long as it's in motion, I don't really feel alone. It doesn't matter what they're doing, I'm connected by just knowing their presence is there.
< just explained part of the meaning behind my sig for any of those who wanted to know.
V isn't working on building a museum of extinct websites that existed prior to 2000.

Who's complaining? Oh I do enjoy it. :)

... I find that being "in the moment" has the perks that can make time 'last.' I realized long ago that rushing things doesn't effectively consolidate time because when you rush, you never enjoy or appreciate the time you have doing things. If I take the time to relax and forget its passing, I can enjoy it more, and I enjoy life more even though I know that I can only enjoy it for so long.

Time is finite so I like to spend time in places I enjoy. I find I like to spend my time here. Needless to say, I'm quite fond of spending my chunk of time here since you guys are all great and all contribute to something that makes it enjoyable not only for me, but for everyone else.

I thank you all for that.

^ That would be the job of www.archive.org.
^ Likes expounding philosophical crap and wishful thinking. Get your head wrapped around reality. It doesn't hurt as much. You and I are merely amorphous substance floating in a stream of electrons. Everybody we know here is a stream of electrons. We are not real. We show only what we choose to do so.
< Sorry to say, but I'm old. Nanner, nanner, nanner!
v Has never seen "The Man from UNCLE".

^ is right.
< can play, I wouldn't call myself the best, but I can hold my own.
V isn't pondering what I'm pondering, though very well could be.

Definitions of reality are relative. Mine exists and it's where I've been hanging out this last week. Though it's not always the most pleasant, I like it for what it is. That it is.

^ ponders, and it's a good thing. [Except when someone stuck in an icy river and you're the only one around].
< is thinking ^ has Elvish in ^'s sig, but I'm really taking a stab in the dark here.
V hasn't said anything to me yet. If V has, I haven't physically heard it. Maybe you've only whispered it on the wind, but unfortunately I couldn't make out the distortion. However it was said, I appreciate it, probably. Maybe. Sure.

^ predicted the medium that I'm using to post online.
< had an excellent day in the snow.
< ran into many people I haven't seen in a while.
< is glad for that since the snow canceled my busiest day of the week and gave me some much needed free time.
V may or may not have topped the amount of '< s' that < has used just now.
There is a small chance that V has used more '< s' at one point in time.
