^ is wrong about that though I did once name my Meganium "Starforce"
< somehow was the last to find out that an Exam had been moved to Monday. Is it wrong that I wanted to take it and get it over with today?
V isn't the most pixelated bunch of boxes ever.

< is (for the second time this week) running on empty money-wise.
...
$213 for my French textbooks leaving my bank account bone-dry says it's door number 2.

Oh I've been there. Online distributors are amazing places to find books, that is if you can get a hold of the books you need before the start of the semester.

But I'm guessing you already did all that. If so, then yeah, buying textbooks sucks

Eh, probably not.

^ is not a member of a group aiming to prevent cruelty to his favourite characters.
< believes that loving and killing do not fit like hand-in-glove.
V is not a kitten named Al Pacino IV.

I haven't checked online, simply because half my textbooks are printed by the university specific and unique to each class. The rest of them are shrink-wrapped packages of books which, if I bought them seperately online, would kill me through postage.

It doesn't matter now, though. I've finally got all of my textbooks, so no more forking out for those.

^'s ideals are quite oppisite to that of PETA.
^ is wrong, it's Al Pacino X. Cause 10 is a nice round number and X's make things look spiffy. X3
<'s having pancakes! 89
V wants something else for dinner. Probably.

Those course specific textbooks are killer, even more so if it's your professor's own work. I'm not sure about the laws in Australia, but I know that distributors on campus here are allowed to sell a book up to 40% of MSRP. Even some of the Professors are shocked by the steep hikes, one of them remarking that "it's highway robbery!" which in essence, is when you're paying more than a dollar a page for some books. At least some are sympathetic. Our Technical Writing Professor put together a cheap manual of everything we needed he thought necessary for the course for only $10 (trimming the fat basically) while everyone else was paying $70-120 for the full textbook equivalent in other sections of the course. Buying on campus is a sure way to dent your wallet, but if you can avoid doing so, I'd highly advise it. It sucks that you have so many of your courses linked to your campus only.

Have you tried looking into used books? I'm sure students would be willing to sell you their editions, that is unless you have the kind of textbooks that change every year and are super-tailored to the course leaving that the ONLY possible option and basically putting you in a position where you are being extorted for more money. :(

^ has probably come across the meaning of life already while still trying to figure that one out.
> isn't a fan of Miso. I think it's a bit bland and a tad 'sour' for my tastes.

Re: the ^ > V game

^ made a great compliment, though < thinks it should have been more generic since I'm sure it probably refers to V anyways. I wouldn't consider < 'pretty' then again, I don't think ^ would consider most guys 'pretty.'

^ May or may not (but in my mind, likely doesn't) desire to get a cat and name it Durian Cobbler.

lol, you're one step ahead of me.
gaiasweatdropwf2.gif

But no, I don't think I'd name it that but Durian sounds like a sweet name [even if it implies putrid because of well, the fruit.]
The analogy could still work. Smelly on the outside, but sweet and spunky on the inside :3

Well maybe if you wished harder~
