why can't we attack the trainer when we're in a battle...? *shot*

you can use a short escape rope to escape a random cave/dungeon,even if you're already deep inside.I mean, how the hell did a short piece of rope reach the entrance where you started?

and when you use the escape rope when you're just in front of the exit,it'll still bring you to the far entrance where you started off =_="

you can fit a bunch of stuff in your bag. That could've sounded okay but...
even huge stuff can fit in o.o

I mean come on!
I can still imagine how a fishing rod can fit in it but...
HOW THE HELL CAN A BIKE FIT IN THAT SMALL BAG?!?

it's like...Dora's purple talking backpack that eats up the random toys she brings on her 'adventures',but teenage version =3=

I don't get why Arceus can't learn any kicking moves despite him having four hooves and he is equine like so he should be able to learn Double kick, low sweep, blaze kick. etc.

- Caves that randomly crop up, vanish and appear miles away in another location. At the same time, I do think it's pretty cool...

- Broken bridges. I understand their necessity, some are at least justified in-game, but others have people just randomly blocking your way and giving off completely irrelevant info (I know the broken bridge guy in Mahogany Town gives you hints on what to do next, at least)

- The fact that such a city exists where aside from flying the only way to get to it is to dive. The anime's having ferries running through an opening in the volcano makes much more sense...

- Already mentioned, the fact that a man-made entity composed solely of computer data can be hatched from an egg.

-Metang should be a 2 Beldum combo. Metagross should be a 2 Metang combo. So... why Beldum actually EVOLVES into Metang and Metang itself evolves into Metagross?
-A lot of Pokédex descriptions tell that Cubone wears the skull of his dead mother. WTF? Like EVERY Cubone has a dead mother. And like if you breed and then the Daycare Couple tells you something like "Ehm, your Marowak isn't here anymore". R.I.P.
-Kangaskhan: you breed it and... ta-dah! A brand-new Kangaskhan with a brand-new puppy. WHAT?
-Pokémon Trainers. You are a Rattata, you live in a bush near Route 1. You have puppies and a nice female Rattata who waits for you. You just went out to catch some Caterpies in Viridian Forest: your puppies have to eat something. While you are coming back home there's a freaking guy who walks into grass without looking around: you are scared, you believe he could accidentally break your nest. You try Growling at him and he calls out a Charmander from apparently nowhere. Is he a Psychic human who used Teleport? Dunno. However, you try Tackling him. Bad choice. That Charmander Scratches you in return and a little strange ball is thrown to you by the boy. You cannot move. You have to follow him locked into the ball and when he calls you out you strangely has the instinct to obey him. Magic? Wizardry? You feel sympathized with that Charmander you used to hate: he is a victim like you. You are frustrated. You have to hurt, for no reason at all, your ol' friends and many many other Pokémon. And, even worse, when the boy realizes that you are a useless and weak Pokémon, he stores you in a strange thing called "PC". For the eternity. And when, years from then, he decides to bring you back and charges you with hopes, that's just because he needs some low-level common Pokémon to trade. And you just go to another PC.
But hey, Pokémon teach respect for nature. XD

The first battle of Pokemon Black & White against Bianca messes up your character's entire room. How could a quick battle between two level 5 unevolved starters cause that much carnage, yet an epic battle against Cynthia's Level 70+ team doesn't leave a scratch on the small villa? Does she have an army of super advanced cleaning robots?

How Arceus created the world, yet he was invented in Sinnoh, after other Pokemon were already invented.

Pretty much the Pokedex stating what a pokemon does but they can't do what the Pokedex tells you, the hell?

magcargo is 10 TIMES HOTTER THAN THE SURFACE OF THE GODDAMN SUN! and without an ozone layer between a trainer and magcargo, and the fact that it is not large enough to spread out its heat and radiation. how the hell do you not get deep-fried while standing within half a mile from it.

Also, pokeballs cant work because even though they convert the pokemon into energy that fits into the pokeball, conservation of mass means that if you tried to carry a pokebell with a pokemon in it that weighs over 100 pounds, you would snap your effing arm off.

Male-only Pokemon that can only breed with Ditto. Where the hell are all those Rufflet in Victory Road coming from when the nearest Ditto is all the way across Unova, in Giant Chasm?

Well, this is a bit more complicated.
E=mc², you know. So if you assume you can convert Pokémon into energy (which is near impossible out-side of a nuclear process but, hey) there will be no more a mass problem: there will be an over-over-over charge of energy. A Poké Ball should be the ultimate conductor able to support very very high temperatures without heat troubles: It will lighten like a little star and you'll also have to isolate this whole energy in some manner without dispersion, otherwise you'll have an half-Pikachu next time you call out.
This is for the anime.
In Pokéspe, for example, we know that Pokémon just... resize to fit in the ball. In this case, yes, conservation of mass would cause the problem you pointed out.
What a bunch of nerds we are... ;)

How you can have teleportation pads in gyms but I cant fly outta fuckin' skyarrow bridge.

I think that all of your characters adventures are set at the same time. It's just that Arceus isn't mentioned in any other pre-gen 4 game.

How many people said this already?
Skitty can breed with Wailord.
HSOWA,Beeyatch.
And Eevee,Diglett,Ratatta and Seedot can get funky with Wailord.

Now, in this sense, it's more of a consistency issue rather than comparing it with common sense, but the evolution of Pokemon in the anime wasn't consistent. For example, Politoed, a Pokemon that normally requires trading to evolve, doesn't need to in the anime. Rather, it just needed the King's Rock to evolve. It's true that things doesn't necessarily work that way these days, but it's something of an "early installment weirdness". That's not the only thing that's different early on. The way the anime dealt with an oversized party didn't make sense in those days, because once the seventh Pokemon is caught, it teleported to Professor Oak's lab on its own (in this case, Ash's Krabby). Currently, the seventh Pokemon in hand had a red button to indicate that contents can't be released, which made more sense than those days.

Thanks for reading.

I actually prefer the old method, because that's how it happens in the games.
