Pet semetary. A ghost hamster come on...
Pet Semetary wasn't even out when SwSh started development.
What if low on hp and spiritual powers awake? Mediums, shamans, druids, magicians, necromancers, frankenstein... You get it?
Frankenstein never had any spiritual powers.

The 2 old versions are very old. The new movie doesnt count. But physical invulnerability. The idea counts.

1989 and 1983, while old enough to be around for SwSh's development, is not "very old". It's certainly not old enough to have expired its copyright and have a Pokemon made based on it.

Evil dead.
Still didn't give him ghostly powers.

Danny Phantom.
Ben 10.
Not only are these still copyright, they're also from the early 2000s. That's really recent.

And what connection does Danny Phantom have to rodents? At this point, it looks like you're just bringing up anything with a vague relation to ghosts, without even trying to connect it to the Pokemon.
Vision from Avengers.
Martian Manhunter from DC.
Still copyright. (Vision was used in a film just a couple of years ago, come on.) Also, neither have any connection to hamsters, or even ghosts.
Beatle Juice.
1988. Still recent. Still copyright. Also not any relation to hamsters.
The Crow.
1994. Even more recent. Still copyright. No hamsters anywhere. The plot also centers on a ghost trying to murder people who raped his fiance...not exactly prime material for a Pokemon game.
Spawn? Would fit the hamster.
1997. Even more recent. Still copyright. No hamsters. And how the heck does "demon who refuses to fight heaven" connect in any way to "hamster that gets angry when it's hungry"???

No, but if you're wanting to base it off a specific franchise, then it will be copyright.

And, again, none of your examples even had a hamster in them. Vision and Martian Manhunter aren't even ghosts.

Jekyl and Hyde is a story from 1886. It's been public domain for years now. And the discussion about Jekyl/Hyde influencing Morpeko wasn't to say that its design should be changed to suit the story-it was discussing the possibility that Morpeko might have been based off of it. My problem with your examples is that you're not saying that Morpeko might have been based on Ben 10, Danny Phantom, or anything else-you're saying that it should be, and that its type should be changed to match.

Banner and Hulk are, again, very much copyright. They were used in a film just last year. And seeing as there's no nuclear energy connected to Morpeko, and its Hangry mode is definitely not green, I think it's safe to say that Hulk was not a factor in its design. (Nobody even mentioned Hulk here, either...)

Jeez You all are very negative vibe oriented...
Honestly most of your ideas and posts are just random streams of consciousness that don’t necessarily have any substance or basis and then when people point out that this might not make sense or might require more thought, you say they’re negative vibe oriented lol.

Sometimes people would rather read about an idea that’s a logical next step or one that builds on current lore and mechanics rather than just a lot of scattered fan fiction-esque ones that are too specific to make sense.

Like vampires, zombies and other things... Got it.

Ghost hamster song and Aura wheel... Aura... Aura... Aura...
After fainting during battle it changes form to Hanted Hangry dark/ghost or electric/ghost and Aura wheel becomes ghost... Something similar like that.

One thing I really hope that they do is continue to treat characters the way they did in Sun and Moon and connect them to the story and your journey more. So far it kinda looks like they'll continue to do so. The way the characters were connected to the plot and the connections they had with each other certainly helped me feel more invested in the story, so hopefully Sword and Shield continues to do so.
