Things you want to see done in Sun and Moon

I hope there are more sidequests, those are pretty fun in RPG's; but they're rarely, if ever, used in Pokémon.
Edit: Semicolon
Adding to this would be that these sidequests pay a hefty reward. The sea cucumber, I am still struggling with its name, sidequest seems to pay 20 000 PokeDollar. So it's a step in a right direction.

I'm not sure what I've posted here before so this may get a little repetitive but, eh.

Inverse battles in the battle facility/with other players: They did this with the other outlandish battle mechanics (double, triple, rotation), and Inverse battles are fun and force you to think a little more, so I'd love to do it more often, and even if not in the main story, the opportunity to do it in these places would be enough for me.

The complete and utter ERADICATION of IVs: Clearly it's not gonna happen 'cuz Hyper Training (which could be a viable fix so long as bottle caps are not truly finite), but they just create a false layer of skill in Wi-Fi battles. It's not a test of who has the skills to properly apply these to the right stats like EVs, but a test of who has the impossibly outlandish patience to put up with such a drawn out and convoluted set of rules until they get a minimum of six Pokemon with perfect IVs in all but one dump stat. I would not be opposed to them being removed completely in a later generation.

Individual coloration changes: As in, "Oh cool, your Lucario's a darker blue whereas mine's more of a cyan. It makes no difference to how they perform, but it's cool that they're unique." read: a way of making Pokemon unique between members of a species, but not one that affects their performance so that everyone will manipulate them in a way that the unique but imperfect ones are thrown away.

Well, doubles/triples/rotation are completely legitimate battle styles just like singles, and are equivalents. They're not any more "outlandish" than single battles, really. But yes, being able to battle inversely in battle facilities would be neat! I'd like inverse to be offered for doubles, rotation, and triples too.

Re: IVs; I admit breeding for IVs is what has kept me from competitive battling thus far, and it is absurdly tedious for people who aren't into it, but deleting IVs entirely doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Some people enjoy breeding for them, and this IV training thing means that people who don't want to no longer have to. Plus, IVs just make sense logically, in the pokemon universe.

Also, while I think it's true there's a little more 'skill' to raising EVs in that battles/those super training minigames are involved, I think both values are tedious to raise.

Ah, yes, the Pyukumuku odd job, which was part of its description. On the island that is supposed to represent Maui, there's probably a bunch of odd jobs throughout the major resort. Heck, there's even a golf course, based upon my dissection of the Alola map. I don't see you having to fish up lost golf balls, but being a caddy would be interesting. And, hopefully, this income building encourages spending on wardrobes, because aside from Full Restores and Max Revives being a fortune, most Trainers usually find crafty ways to keep their resources stacked on a budget (such as using Lemonade), and you can wind up with a safe-load of Pokemon cash. Though, spending millions of dollars on some Mega Evolution stones isn't exactly what I consider to be a true investment, but that's me.

And these would be jobs you can do repeatedly in a time table, like once a week.

BTW, Pyukumukus are adorable.

I love Magmar and would be so amused if it got an Alolan form. XD Maybe make it a Rock-type, because Magmar are basically a magma pokemon, so imagine if it cooled and became stone.
rock? I would rather think of somethink to counter Charizard, fire/fairy would make sense.

...I am dying at the idea of a Fairy Magmar. XD

For Rock, I was just thinking along the lines of a possible biological/environmental adaptation. I don't imagine Alola has many if any wild Charizard to pose that as a reasonable cause for adaptation.

Granted, I wouldn't think that it had an abundance of Psychic-inducing pancakes either, but why question the surfing Raichu.

Many things bother me too.
Hmm why does Flamebody only cause a burn and nothing more?
why does Magmar not have Magma Armor?
or why does Magma Armor only protect from freezing but not reduce the power of some moves?
it's magma or not? logical issues.
This would in future give the question:
should pokemon have and use 2 abilities at once in battles?
And why only have 3 posibble ability slots if we could have 5?
Or make old abilities more buffed and modified in future?
This would be something to think about for future generation games.
This would allow for more diverse game play and twist.

-Now I really want secondary megas for Blastoise and Venusaur like Charizard got. Seeing posibilities of new typings and abilities. Mega Blastoise Moon and Mega Venusaur Sun, would be cool or not?

-I would want Gravity to work better or a move based on it
and a pokemon that could cast it like others cast the weather:
-move Gravity Sphere: to be priority make the flying/levitating pokemon flinch at that turn and cause damage to them.(like "Powder" but for levitating and flying foes. imagine Exeggutor with this)

How about instead of being a caddy, you can actually play some PokeGolf? If you achieve a certain number of strokes, you earn a certain number of money.

That would be interesting. Granted, the only game studio that's part of Nintendo's extended family with golf experience is Camelot, though I'm certain Game Freak only needs to code the driving range.

The more jobs, the longer I'll be playing, because sometimes, human interaction should get some attention because it sometimes feels like only the Pokemon stuff is important and you're merely the carrier.

At least give us type specialist clothes for Customization. I really want to have my character look the part of a Dragon user. Not too fond of Customization but if this is done then no complaints from me.

or let us put on costiums of pokemon on.

Please just give Jynx something new.
Be it Alolan form or Z move or Mega or whatever. Or even a slight buff in stats.

It missed an evo during Gen 4 and is horribly weak nowadays.

the ability Dancer could grant immunity to damage dealing dance moves and copy and use them and a other move the same turn.

Also a "Singer" ability for song and sound based moves would be nice.

maybe a "Boxer" ability for punches?

That would make Dancer way overpowered.

Iron Fist is already used for punching attacks. Boxer wouldn't be needed.

and you are saying the other gen 4 evos bar weavile and gliscor are strong?

really so many pokemon use damage dealing dance moves?
Or we will get more dance damage dealing moves?
I hope it will allow to copy one and use its own move the same turn.
Plus we won't get only Dancer vs Dancer users every time.

Boxer would make senses for one pokemon to have it, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee could get a ability for kicks only. To make them masters of their sport class.
There could also be abilities for Throws and Karate based moves.
We would need really more diffrent olimpic sportsman pokemon in future.

-a Ice type version of the move Sand Tomb if we get a snowman.(That traps the foe, maybe not Snow Tomb, but Snow Grave)

-maybe ground and ice type versions of the move Forest's Curse?
For Polosand (if it learns Muddy Water) and for the new ice/ghost snowman if it hapens?

-a ground type move that is based on tectonic movements, that switches the oponents on-land pokemon every turn for 3 turns.(This + Stealth Rock+Torterra)

-a Alolan form that's not said to come from Kanto but that the Kanto version comes from this new region.
