Thorton debuts new sync pair with Magnezone in Pokémon Masters EX, alongside launch of the new Two Factory Heads Trailer Files event

The new Two Factory Heads Trainer Files event has just launched today in Pokémon Masters EX. Running alongside this event are a set of Variety Scouts featuring Thorton, who debuts today with a new sync partner, Magnezone. The event and Scouts will both be available until October 18th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Trainer Files: Two Factory Heads
In this new event, Sawyer seeks the assistance of Factory Heads Thorton and Noland to help assist him with a pair of uncooperative rental Pokémon, who are causing problems for inexperienced trainers. By completing battles during this event, players can earn Event Voucher N items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including 5★ Scout Tickets, 5★ Hoenn Scout Tickets, 5★ Sinnoh Scout Tickets, and a Field Move Candy Coin. Players can also obtain Gems for completing special missions during the event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Thorton & Magnezone: +60% (x1.6) bonus rewards
• Sawyer & Honchkrow: +40% (x1.4) bonus rewards
• All other sync pairs with the Battle Facility Foe Theme Skill: +20% (x1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Thorton & Magnezone, Sawyer & Honchkrow, and any other Sync Pair with the Battle Facility Foe Theme Skill, would grant a combined +120% (x2.2) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Leftover Event Voucher N items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes

Thorton Variety Scout
This Variety scout offers players to scout Thorton in his brand new 5★ sync pair with Magnezone. This Steel-type Field Role pair makes their debut with an expanded sync grid, as well as the ability to be raised to 6★ EX and unlock a Support EX Role. Thorton & Magnezone uses the same costumes as those from Thorton's regular sync pair, and does not have their own individual sync pair story.

In addition to the regular Variety Scout, Trainers can also take advantage of a Presents! Limit 3! Thorton Variety Scout, a special Sync Pair Scout requiring paid gems, that, as the name implies, can be used up to 3 times. Players will receive a 50% discount on their first Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout, making it 1,500 Gems rather than the usual 3,000. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus items every time they do a Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout. The bonuses that are received are as follows.

The 5★ Master Scout Ticket K allows Trainers to use the Thorton Guaranteed Ticket Scout, ensuring they scout the Battle Factory leader. Both the Variety Scout and Variety Scout + Present! Limit 3! will be available until October 18th, at 10:59pm (PDT). The associated Ticket Scout will be available until October 25th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
