So, the old RP died, so I'm going to try to resurrect this.
The year is 1353 in the nation of Jishin, a wasteland of desert in which are a scattering of cities. From all around the world Magicians come to the Three Pyramids. The first Pyramid, the Laborama Pyramid, is where the magicians work and meet. It is the largest pyramid. The second pyramid is the Dormishan Pyramid, where the magicians live, sleep, and conduct leisure activity. The last pyramid, the Legatan Pyramid, is where the Three Pyramids Academy is placed. Here the magicians learn magic and prepare for life in the other two pyramids. The Magicians study many arts:

The Whole Academy is located inside the Legatan Pyramid, besides physical activities which are held in the desert outside. The top five levels of the Pyramid are dedicated to accomodation, with the Magistri and Didaskaloi on the highest level, students of each year in the next three levels, and common rooms on the bottom of these levels. Lower than this is the dining hall, where the students eat. Below this the classrooms are situated, which stretches down to ground level. Underground, there is a swimming pool sterylised and cooled by magic.
Magics:
Basic Magic: which involves the use of the elements, and the combination.
Rune Magic: Which involves the using of metal and stone runes.
Daemon Magic: Which utilises the Spirits of the Underworld.
Necromancy: The animation of inanimate objects and the resurrection of the Undead. This is limited to a select few students who prove to excel in certain studies. If you have read include a green letter 'i' in your Sign-Up

The Elements:
Ignis: Which has sub-elements of Fire, Heat and Magma.
Aqua: Which has sub-elements of Water and Ice
Ventus which has sub-elements of Wind, Lightning and Plant.
Terra: Which has sub-elements of Rock and Metal
Energy: Which has no sub-elements
Students will be stronger in some elements than the others. They will be able to channel all of the elements, but to certain extents. If you have read this put the word 'desert' in your Sign-Up

The Castes:
Once the students go into the pyramid, they will choose which caste they want to go into:
Warriors: Who dress in red robes. They fight for the state or as mercenaries.
Healers: Who dress in green robes. They go around healing people and finding new cures to diseases.
Crafters: Who dress in brown robes. They perform ordinary jobs where magic might be useful, such as building or farming.
Alchemists: Who dress in blue robes. They are the magical scientists, making discoveries.
Diplomats: Who dress in yellow robes. They act as advisors to kings and emperors, politicians and ambassadors.
Necromancers: Who dress in black. They are by far the smallest caste and it contains the necromancers.
The Aniati: Who dress in white: They are the caretakers of the Pyramids. They make many of the decisions of the Pyramids and are most often the Leader of the Pyramids, The High Seat.

In the Pyramids there is a delicate hierarcy.
In the Magicians:

In the Magicians:
At the top is the High Seat, who is the supreme ruler of the Pyramids. The position is for life. He is assisted by the Parliament.
The Seven Heads of each Caste sit on the Parliament. They are the Stratedux of the Warriors, The Medicissime of the Healers, The Laboranti of the Alchemists, the Faberin of the Crafstmen, the Legaster of the Diplomats, the Mortuan of the Necromancers and the Anius of the Aniati. This seat is voted for every ten years.
Within the Castes there are many individual ranks, but each Caste has a Deputy, in case of the death or absence of the Head.

In the Academy:
In the Academy there is the Magister Optimus, who is the Head of the Academy. There can be any number of Magistri (singular Magister), and seven Didaskaloi (Singular Didaskalos), who are the heads of the teaching of each caste, and control aplications into the Castes at the end of the students' final year.
The Students have their own Ranks as well.
In the final year there are twelve Praefecti, four Praefecti Maior and one Praefecti Maximus.
A recent edition this year is the start of Academic Rankings:
The year is split into five ranks, based on their academic performance:
The top 10% acheive the Optimus Ranking. They are awarded a gold band around the rim of their robes
The next 20% achieve the Bonus Ranking. They are awarded a silver band around their robes
The middle 40% achieve the Medius Ranking. They have a brown band around their robes.
The next 20% achieve the Malus Ranking. They have a grey strip around their robes
The bottom 10% achieve the Pessimus Ranking. They are given a black strip around the rim of their robes.

Magic Spread: What percentage of your magic is spread through each element? There must be at least 5% on each element.
Hopeful Caste: Which caste you want to be in.

Intrests: Musical instruments (note, these should be 14th century), Sports (same again, yes you can make up a sport that can use magic, and yes you can use fictional sports in books and films), Books, Hobbies.
