There's been a lot of discussion over the times the Western side of the Pokemon anime has referenced the Japanese version, but there have been a few times where the opposite has occurred (officially or not), just not discussed as often from what I can tell.
There's been "Pokemon de English" where clips from the dub are used to help Japanese kids with their English, Rica Matsumoto sung the first dub theme, and most recently the Japanese version of episode 3 of Path to the Peak made a version of Pokemon World.
