I’m especially liking the details on those flowers there, Torchic! They also stand out quite nicely against her black attire, which seems a bit ironic for someone into Fairy-types. Unless her studying “fae magic” also means she’s into those… other, not-so-nice kind of “fairies”: the kind you see in those really dark fairy tales where all of the characters die horribly or something.
(I don’t even want to know what “dark academia” is supposed to mean, ahaha…)

One of my first (and let's be real favorite) fankids. Drew her with Hwang, the son of Winona's Altaria Aurora! Hwang is a year or so older than Robin, but the two are inseparable. Hwang eventually becomes Robin's starter Pokémon.

Hope grew up as Contests were starting to become a thing in the Kanto region, and so it was always her dream to be a Top Coordinator. She loves pink Pokémon! Her parents gave her a Happiny (Happy) when she turned ten. Her other Pokémon were from either travelling or her parents' research. Other teammates include Skitter, Silk, Psych, Coral, and Wiggly.

Cherry only has two Pokémon—Rosy and Ronny—but she loves them both very much, and they're both very strong in battle and on stage.

A character I haven't introduced yet. Here's Kaylee Evers, adoptive daughter of Elesa and Skyla. She wants to be just like her mom: fancy and electric! I imagine Elesa and Skyla are already married and raising their first child by the time of Alternate Title, Alternate Champion, so Kaylee is older than most of the other fankids. A kid from my Criminal MikuNagi AU fic. She's got a bit of an interesting story.
Her mother, Winona, is in a loveless marriage with Ghetsis, an influential priest in Unova. Little does Ghetsis know that Winona is having an affair with the scandalous deviant Wallace (also the two are criminals lol). Wallace is a much better (and more... there) father than Ghetsis, and so Empyreal sometimes calls Wallace dad... oh no family drama

But then something else came to mind: is she suffering from some kind of illness or something? Immunocompromisation, maybe? Not in the medical history, but…

My knowledge of Sinnoh is rather rusty, but I don’t remember anyone in canon with hair quite like that in the region (if not for the Sinnoh link, I would’ve guessed that it was Professor Juniper’s child). It’s sort of a thematic theme: hiding herself from her dad, but also putting up a mask (a different kind of mask from like the “behind the mask” mask, but shhhhh) to the public, and hiding your true emotions behind it. It’s also a carry over from when she was still a picture concept
