Transformers Animated Season 3 Confirmed; Will Begin Airing in Spring 2009

C21 Media is reporting that Cartoon Network US has officially commissioned Season 3 of Transformers Animated for delivery in Spring 2009. This is the first confirmation of Cartoon Network officially greenlighting the season, although it has already been revealed through people involved with the show that work was already proceeding. The article also states that Entertainment Rights has secured the rights to the 13 episodes in Season 3, which will now possibly air in the 80 different territories in which they distribute the broadcast rights.

Looks like it's official now.
