Andrew's eyes widened. "Are you kiddin' me? I love this place. Sure more fun than the other schools I've been to. All the horror stories I've been through...not fun. Not fun at all," he said with a slight shudder. "So where are you from?"
Tyler made his way back into the dining hall "I'm hungry again don't know why but probably since you eat half of it while I was distracted." he said while looking at Samantha. Tyler then looked up and noticed the girl he called Tiny Tim and made his way across the room.
James raised an eyebrow at how quickly Alexis had said that. He figured he'd let it slide because he was sure that it was something innocent and nothing that he should worry about. "You laughing at nothing... I see." He said with a playful grin, letting her know that he didn't believe that.
Like James down in the cafeteria, Dustin raised an eyebrow at Stacy's 'you may have seen me before in places' remark. He tried to put her name and face towards something, anything... but it wasn't coming. He figured that he might as well work on steering the conversation elsewhere so she didn't get upset because he didn't recognize her. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Stacy." Dustin said cordially. "I just came up here because I wanted to see where everything was, and I must say that my timing was fantastic."
Stacy blushed as she put her sheet into the scanner and pressed the green button.
"Aww thank you. I can show you around the castle anytime. I'm in the Heart Spire so just pop in if you need anything" she said. The copying had finished after she finished talking. She took the papers and looked at him.
"Well see you soon, unless you want to come back to my place. I have a bottle of bourbon that I've been dying to try out" she said not sure if he drank.
"Unless you want juice or hot refreshments?" she added.
James spun around slightly. He shrugged. "No idea. But now I'm going to watch." He muttered.
"I'll take you up on that offer." Dustin told Stacy with a smile. "I'd never turn down a glass of bourbon on the rocks." He explained. "And plus, I'd like to get to know my fellow faculty... I've never been a teacher before, so I'm learning on the fly."
"That's nice. I should invite Stephanie, Kate, Luciean and the two other new teachers I can't remeber their names for a get together" she said with a smile and started walking away.
"Plus teachings a great job. If you get past the depressing days, perverts, backchatters and smart ass's then your all ok" she said thinking of some of her problems then looked back at him.
"But that never usually happens" she reassured falsely.
Dustin walked besides Stacy. "You know, the way you put that... you make it seem a lot worse than I think you think it is." He laughed. "I mean there's a lot of challenges you just listed... although one of those doesn't apply to me." He teased. "And I'm pretty sure you know which one I mean about that."
Stacy raised her eyebrow as she opened the door for the Soul Tower. She waved to some students that passed.
"Hey your a young teacher thats good looking. Girls are the same trust me" she said remebring how she used to have a crush on her PE teacher.
"Anyway this is my office and room and apartment" she laughed unlocking her room and throwing her cardigan onto the sofa. She wore a tight t-shirt and skinny jeans.
"Yeah I know the place is a little messy and I'm not quite good right now. I'm just painting right now" she said pointing to the area where she was paiting.
"Though a break would be good" she said walking to the kitchen and under refigerators kept bottles of alcohol.
"Here it is" she said pulling the bottle out and two small glasses.
Dustin was about to comment about how he really wouldn't mind if his female students were flirting with him, but he decided that wouldn't be the best comment to make. "Well, this is a nice place." He commented. And I'm with you about needing a break... it's been a long 24 hours for me... getting here and all."
Stacy laughed and poured a small amount into each glass.
"Just a little then I need to get back to the painting" she laughed tieing her hair back up again. She gave him one of the glasses and sat down on the sofa. She took a sip and raised her eyebrows.
"Wow that sure is... flavoursome" she said as she took only one sip.
Dustin swirled the amber liquid around in the glass for a few moments before taking a sip. "You know, you have a good taste in liquor." He complimented her before taking another sip. "And if I may ask, what exactly are you painting?" He asked curiously.
Stacy smiled and got up. She walked over to her painting and took the white cloth that covered it off.
"It's a Milotic in a underwater coral setting" she explained, the top of the painting only being done so far.
"I just thought I needed something in my walk in closet above the wall in the middle" she said walking back and taking a sip.
"I should really bring some other teachers. Have you met Luciean yet?" she asked, not sure if Luciean would be liking this. She doesn't mind who she spent time with but Luciean may take it the other way.
Dustin noticed the way that Stacy was stressing about this Lucien fellow. *Hmmm... wonder what's his deal... well her deal about him.* Dustin thought to himself. "Well, I think that will make a very nice addition to your closet wall." Dustin told Stacy about the painting. "And no, I haven't met this 'Lucien' yet." Dustin told her. "Who is he?"
"Well you can't miss him. He's quite flamboyant. Long, silky curly hair, frilly clothes and french accent. He's the Head of Heart and Poetry and Duelling teacher." She stopped and looked at him.
"It's just I had a night with him and I give almost everyone nights." she said bluntly. "Though not in a slutty way" she added quickly. "I jsut don't want anyone thinking wrong ideas. He's really passionate" she said finishing the small amount of bourbon and walking to the kitchen.
"Anyway back to the painting" she said putting her hands on her waist.
Dustin was surprised at how open Stacy was. "Well, I can't be judgmental about something like that." He commented vaguely. "And it seems like you have a thing for this fellow." He analyzed mostly to himself. He then made a mental note to go find this Lucien and see what he was like. *This guy sounds like he wouldn't survive fifteen seconds on the streets.* Dustin chuckled to himself. *Can't believe he's the dueling teacher.*
"Oh no. I just have any cock I get" she said then stopping. Her open mouth did get her in trouble few times. She facepalmed and looked back at him.
"Lets pretend I never said that. Anyway, if you want to go see Luciean he'll be in his Heart Tower. I could take you there now or you could go on your own since I have this painting to finish" she laughed picking up a paintbrush.
Dustin resisted the temptation to laugh. Instead, he made the mental note that if he needed a certain need taken care of while he was at the Academy, he knew exactly where to go. "I'll find him at some point. You work on your painting and I'm going to go explore further." Dustin put his empty glass on the table and stood up. "Thanks for the drink. I'll return the favor at some point soon." He said with a smile before walking out of Stacy's room.
Stacy waited a few second after Dustin had loeft and went to get the glass.
"I'm such a stupid bitch. If I keep blabbing stuff out nobody's going to take me serious as a teacher and carry on asociating me with the slutty model" she shook her head and picked up the glass. She walked to the kitchen and put the glass away. Walking back to the painting she pulled her T-shirt down a little and noticed it was extremely tight.
"Meh, its for messy work" she said starting on her painting again.
Lucien's chest would rise and fall, each breath synchronized with a slash of the blade. Jutting forward, a piercing lunge was shot through the air, as the blood-stained handle of his rapier would grind against the familiar, feather-soft hands. Muscles rippled across his bare chest, his hair falling abreast. Another strike; this time, a slash. It was his violin; his song, and his music. His blade became his bow, as arm arched, his hand pressed against his waist. In stance, he stood, slowly circling, before lunging once more. A chorus of strings, clashing against each other. A poem.
His heavily beating heart came to a slow rest, as his chest and stomach shimmered with the sweat. His eyelids would flutter shut, as he began to laugh.
