Tsutarja, Pokabu, Mijumaru localized: The long wait is over!

The wait is over! After a notice went up on Pokémon.com four days ago, fans have been eagerly awaiting the English names for the three starter Pokémon of Pokémon Black and White Versions. Pokémon.com has just updated that the Grass-type will be known as Snivy, the Fire-type will be known as Tepig, and the Water-type will be known as Oshawott.

"Oshawott"? Really? So "Oshawa" + "Wotter", or something?
"Tepig" is obvious - "tepid" + "pig".

Man, after seeing the name "Isshu" for so long, the name "Unova" sounds all foreign and European to me.

Snivy = fitting, but something is just off about it imo
Oshawott = weird, just weird

After hearing these Pokemon call out their japanese names in Best Wishes, it'll be very strange to hear them call out their English names in the dub, especially Mijumaru/Oshawott.

Snivy sounds too much like "snivelly", which is what I feel about these names. >_>
