I doubt I'll be doing any more schedule threads in the future since they're so insanely time-consuming to compile, but I have no problem posting schedules for special events.

The Pokémon marathon on June 2nd is one such event. For every non-Adult Swim hour of the 2nd and the 3rd, Cartoon Network will be airing Pokémon episodes from Seasons 1-9. These include episodes from the fourth and sixth seasons which CN never got around to airing for some reason.

Oooooh awesome!!!

I SO gotta find a way to tape all those episodes =D

Lisa... I know you're excited ^_~ And me too!!!

Wait, Dogasu, how do you know the episodes will go through season 8? Why not more?

Sunday's schedule was just posted, so I've updated the first post. Looks like it'll be Seasons 1-9 after all.

If anyone watches all 66 episodes that weekend, you win the 'Pokemon Anime Fanatic Award'. That's a LOT of Pokemon! Do they even make Tivo's with that big of a Hard Drive?!

I love that they are starting with that Paras episode. They must have aired that thing a million times, but that never took away from it being a good episode.

They aren't showing episodes from either of the Grand Festivals, or the farewell episodes for May and Max. That's kind of disappointing. Of course, they are also not airing Pikachu's Good-bye, Bye-Bye Butterfree, or Mystery at the Lighthouse. I guess they would have had to cut off most of Johto to fit in all the good Kanto and Hoehn episodes.

Well Sunain, if it's a challenge you want, then I accept your challenge!!!! ^_^

(wow, I'm starting to sound more like Ash every day)

Anyway, yes, I will watch all 66 of those episodes! In fact, I would be honored to do that, seeing as how I haven't seen some of those episodes in years!

And you're right, Rachel, I am excited. But more than just that, I'm very happy that CN is doing this. It's truly a wonderful thing that they are giving Pokemon fans something as special as this.

Personally, I think watching these episodes on TV again will be very nostalgic for me. And I will probably feel the same way I did when these episodes originally aired. That's an amazing feeling, and I'm so happy that I'll be able to experience this again.

Oh, and by the way, I think it's odd how they chose not to air the first episode...... O.O

Anyway though, I'm serious about watching all 66 of those episodes. I'm a huge fan of the dub and I always have been, so doing something like this will be VERY fun for me. XD

Doesn't Tivo allow 60 hours of recording time (in standard quality)?

Anyway, holy crap! They left NO ROOM for breakfast, lunch, dinner and bathroom break! LOL

I wouldn't mind watching most of them but I lack cable. Oh well.

You forgot Commercial breaks. THREE freaking breaks + breaks between eps. one episode is approx. 21-22 minutes.

I want such marathon in Poland :-/

Hell no, i want to have ANY airing of Pokemon... 1st June marks end of PA reruns, Duel Masters takes over the timeslot.

Yeah, they never handled Pokemon well here.

Wow, this is awesome! Even if I can't watch all of the episodes I'll be sure to give them credit. Although, since nothing else is really ever on I'll watch as many as I can.

IMO those 2-3 minutes break isn't enought for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you're the one making the meal it isn't good either. Those commerical breaks is only good for the "number 1" bathroom break. XP

I can't WAIT. Cannot wait! Gaah! This is so-very exciting, and I'm probably a total dork for being excited to watch these episodes "live" instead of on DVD -- that's just fun for some reason! I'm so glad they are showing early Advanced and Advanced Challenge, too (which CN really should be airing along with AB in the first place).

I'm going to try to watch them all. Maybe I'll make breakfast/lunch/dinner on the 1st and store them in my 'fridge, so I can just grab them during the marathon. xD

Just got back from best buy with a shiny new 500Gb Hd, ready to record!!

OMG so excited! Havent seen alot of these in ages   cant wait

Finally a chance to grab "Gotta Catch Ya Later"....too bad they're only showing half of the Togepi Kingdom arc.
