Two new Sygna Suit Sync Pairs debut in Pokémon Masters EX this month as the Sinnoh Chapter of the Villain Arc concludes [UPDATED]

The end of the Sinnoh Chapter of the Villain Arc is here! The official Pokémon Masters EX social media accounts have announced two new Sygna Suit sync pairs which will be coming to the game together with the conclusion of the Sinnoh Chapter.

Conclusion to the Sinnoh Chapter
A new story has been added to the Main Story Villain Arc: Sinnoh Chapter as of February 9th at 10:00 p.m. PST, alongside the release of the Villain Event. The game's title screen was also changed in conjunction with these main story changes. Players will earn an exclusive in-game medal for completing this new story mission.

Villain Event: Galactic Awakening
The Villain Event: Galactic Awakening will begin on February 9th at 10:00 p.m. (PST), running through to February 27th at 9:59 p.m. (PST). In this event, players can obtain Palkia Crystals which can be used to obtain Cyrus & Palkia Custom Power-Ups, adding new tiles to their sync grid. Players will also receive Event Voucher H items, which can be redeemed for items including Sync Orbs, Skip Tickets, and 5★ Guarenteed Sinnoh Tickets, amongst others. Gems, BP Points, and special Badges are also available as completion rewards.

Unlike regular Story Events, this Villain Event does not include any lineup bonuses to increase battle rewards. There are however special bonuses for Sinnoh Sync Pairs, who will have increased Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Special Defence when used in missions for this event, giving them an easier time in completing stages.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00 p.m. (PST)
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• When the exchange period for the vouchers obtained in this event ends, leftover Event Voucher H and Palkia Crystal items will be converted into coins (10 coins per voucher) and sent to each player's Present Box.

Poké Fair Scout: Sygna Suit Cyrus & Darkrai
Sygna Suit Cyrus & Darkrai will arrive in a Poké Fair Scout on February 9th at 10:00 p.m. (PST), together with the start of Villain Event: Galactic Awakening. They are Fair-exclusive 5★ Dark-type Tech sync pair with an expanded sync grid, whose Dark Wish move can create a Dark Zone to power-up Dark-type attacks. Their Dark Void attack can also put their opponents asleep. This scout banners will remain available until February 27th at 9:59 p.m. (PST).

5★ Sync Pairs have a 10% chance of appearing in this scout. As usual, other 5★ sync pairs will still appear as normal in this Poké Fair Scout, although Sygna Suit Cyrus & Darkrai have a higher chance of appearing than other sync pairs. For more information on the rates for specific characters, go to the Offering Rate section on the Sync Pair Scout screen. Fair-exclusive pairs may reappear in future Poké Fair Scouts.

Sygna Suit Cyrus & Darkrai have the potential to be powered up into a 6★ EX in conjunction with this scout. Powering up the pair in this way causes Cyrus's outfit to change fto Purple, evoking the feeling of a shiny Darkrai.

Additional content coming February 13th
Sygna Suit Dawn & Cresselia will be available in a separate Poké Fair Scout that will go live on February 13th at 10:00 p.m. (PST), running through until February 27th at 9:59 p.m. (PST). They are a Psychic-type Support sync pair that can aid allies in a pinch by healing HP, charging the move gauge, and removing interference and status conditions.

Extreme Battle Event: Cynthia's Determination will also be released alongside this scout on February 13th at 10:00 p.m. (PST).
