Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Confirmed

So I'm looking at the poster right now in a store and I'll just fire off my thoughts
> Lille's definitely a trianer and I bet she'll be rocking Alolan Vulpix which could make her Alola's Ice Specialist.
> The Decidueye, Incineroar, and Primarina look awesome and I wonder if they'll get another exclusive X move.
> No Team Skull at all which is interesting.
> Definitely a new evil team.

These definitely look like a new team (unless we are getting trolled), although the person on the bottom left is a little girl from the looks of it...There's a braid showing and the char looks pretty short

It's either that or Psycho Aether but either way it suggests a big change

Lillie's sister anyone? Would make sense that each of Lillie's siblings was in a different evil team.

It would be nice if GameFreak managed to pull that off.

I doubt Lillie has any other siblings, that just makes even less sense than not letting Mohn reunite with his family in sm. I sincerely hope these guys and girls are a new team, though (but I also hope skull aren't erased from existence)

Is it just me? Or does the one on the right look completely different from the ones on the left?

I think it's just you...they look the same theme-wise, it's just that each one has a different mask of sorts (and the one on the right is male, the chars on the left that are at the front are female and the left-back char is also seemingly male)

It kinda looks like a family, a dad on the right, and a mom, kid, and teenager of some sorts on the left. An evil family team would be interesting :D
I sure hope it's not Lillie's family in space suits for some post-game delta-episode-like thing... (but the guy on the right isn't a fatty like Mohn so.. )

The poster is awesome looking. Yeah, as Soki already mentioned....why didn't they start their marketing with this. That aside, does anyone see the same two eyes of the star figure vaguely in the background? One is above Primarina's arm/flipper and the other is above Decidueye's wing.

I bet it is a new team, since Aether still exists and I guess this new team would be bigger than Aether (much like Aether was bigger than Team Skull)

Yeah I think it's necrozma's eyes or so

I do think this is a new team or a new branch of Aether. Skull is likely still around, it'd be strange to get rid of them.

Alola does have one in Sina, though. She just isn't from Alola, but neither is Ryuki and everyone considers him as its Dragon type specialist.

Though she's a pretty pitiful Ice type "specialist." We battle her all of once outside the Battle Tree (and only if you're playing Moon), where she uses a Glaceon and a Delibird. And then in the Battle Tree, her potential number of Ice-type Pokémon (Sandslash-A, Glaceon, Abomasnow) is actually beaten out by her potential number of other-type Pokémon (Mandibuzz, Oranguru, Drampa, Lilligant). I mean, I guess Drampa is found in a snowy area, but...

As an aside, has anyone played the MegaMan Zero/ZX/Battle Network series? If so then do you think the shadowy figures have similar character design? I think so. I know that they have had some people who have worked with the MMZ/BN series help with Pokemon designs (the guy who helped design Tyrantrum). This has no bearing on the characters themselves, but maybe it might help speculate the team working on these games.

Yeah, I won't deny that she's a pitiful Ice type specialist. About the Battle Tree, Guzma uses 5 out of 7 Pokemon that aren't Bug types (Honchkrow, Toxicroak, Liepard, Bisharp, and Toxapex), so I'm not too sure on that.

Hopefully USUM does treat her better, if Dexio/Sina are still in that is.

True. I guess the Battle Tree teams are more thematic for some of them - all of Guzma's non-Bug types are still based on criminals, thugs, and brutes (like him - shame they couldn't find room for Scrafty though), while Sina and Dexio's teams appear to be based around counterparts (Mandibuzz/Braviary, Oranguru/Passimian, Sandslash/Ninetales, etc.).

Hopefully USUM does treat her better, if Dexio/Sina are still in that is.

Honestly though if they want to go ahead and just replace her with a proper Ice-specializing Lillie I'd be down

That poster is really cool. The artwork is great and it does have some new characters. I instantly thought of Team Plasma due to their outfits. They're most likely a new team. It's possible that the Aether Foundation has new outfits for the grunts and admins, but that seems really unlikely given that Lusamine doesn't have a redesign and I don't think that they'd keep new characters hidden in the background if they were just new characters for the Aether Foundation.

I haven't really considered anything strange about Team Skull not being seen in the games, but it would be kind of interesting if they were already reformed or never became the street gang team and another evil team took their place. It would help to potentially make Aether Foundation less of an obvious evil group. I love Team Skull. They're hilarious with their too cool for school dialogue and their ridiculous arm movements, but they aren't really threatening. It's why I was so confused when they showed that they took over Po Town. They're too ridiculous to take as a serious threat or to be competent. The most effective they were was how they were able to get Lillie and that was primarily through Plumeria's actions more than any of the grunts. Having a more blatantly evil or at least more competent team would help to make the Aether Foundation's true colors to be a bit more interesting, especially if they're willing to work alongside a more threatening team to get their work done. Plus, Guzma being a Kahuna in US/UM would be kind of nice. I don't know if they'll do something like that, but it would be neat.
