Unova Starter Set

While reading the checklists for each of the Kalos Starter Set decks, I noticed that they were identical to the half-decks in the Japanese XY Beginning Set and Beginning Set for Girls put together, which results in three full-size decks. This got me to thinking, "Could I pull off making the BW Beginning Sets in English?"

I noticed that, between some of the theme decks of the Black & White series (Green Tornado, Red Frenzy, Blue Assault, Power Play, Toxic Tricks, Fast Daze, Furious Knights, DragonSpeed), I already had most of the required cards to build the decks. All I needed was 38 other cards, which I could more-or-less easily get as singles online.

Thus, the Unova Starter Set was born: three 60-card decks, each built around one of the Starter Pokémon of Unova. By splitting the decks in half, it is possible to play a half-deck game using a single deck, ideal for teaching a new player how to play, and great if you're in a hurry or want a quick game during your lunch break.
