Well folks, we've made it. Who would've thought that the fun little game Spyspotter brought to the table back in 2013 would've blossomed into something like this? That's right, the first version of Up or Down was posted to the section a full 8 years ago. Back then your team was determined by your user name, and later things like your birth month or your time zone. By the time we reached Version 8, hosted by Rainbow Cloud a year later, it was 2014 and we were all eagerly awaiting the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. This sparked the idea to give the game a theme: Team Aqua vs Team Magma, where players could choose which team they wanted to root for. And thus, the style of Up vs Down as it would come to be defined was born. By this point it's safe to say that the game was certainly picking up traction, as hosting duties were taken up by more and more users. In fact, so many people wanted the chance to host their own versions, that by early 2017, the F&G staff had to set up a queue system just to make sure everybody got their turn, and things haven't let up from there. We've seen Mew triumph over Mewtwo, the Justice League trounce the Avengers, and science nerds dunk on dank meme lords. We've seen battles of Digimon, androids, and voice actors! From Version 1 to Version 99 it's been a real treat to watch. Sorry, sniff, I'm getting emotional.

And so, we come to the topic of this, the 100th version of Up vs Down to grace our great section. For an occasion like this, we wanted to do something a little more personal, celebrating the section to bring us here, as well as its sister section, along for the ride and becoming its own thing entirely.

On one side we have the home of Fun, Games, and Fun Games! Counting up into infinity (or 500, whichever happens first), it's F&G's Random Messengers!
And on the other side it's the home of diabolical schemers and the innocent townspeople who try to stop them! Counting down to negative infinity (or 0, whichever happens first), it's TWR's Super Scum Supremes!

Of course, the rules.
  1. The count begins at 250. Each post from F&G's Random Messengers will increase the count by 1, and each post from TWR's Super Scum Supremes will decrease the count by 1.
  2. Choose your team when you make your first post and ping me, @Lone_Garurumon, so that I may add you to the list. Teams cannot be changed once selected, so choose wisely.
  3. Ping ponging is forbidden by the Up Vs Down Fairness Act 2013. You must wait until at least two other users have posted in the thread before you may post again.
  4. F&G's Random Messengers win when the count reaches 500, and TWR's Super Scum Supremes win when the count reaches 0.

F&G's Random Messengers

TWR's Super Scum Supremes

And with that, the Up vs. Down Version 100 Super Century Milestone Spectacular can officially begin!
250!
