Welcome to the fifteenth instalment in the Video Games Forum's new weekly series of polls!

Centered around the Pokemon series of video games, these polls will be based on the various different aspects of the popular video game franchise. Of the legendary trios in the poll the beast trio is my favourite because I have used all 3 of them in my Colosseum party and the only trio with I have used all 3 of in my parties. Why have the weather trio, dragon trio and tao trio not been included in this poll?

I like the Beast Trio the best. I loved Suicune and Crystal version as a child, and I'm still quite fond of the rest of the trio by association.

The Beast Trio, with Muskedeer Trio in second and Bird Trio third. (All the other trios' members are too similar to each other) The Beast Trio have the best designs, and being the most difficult roaming legendaries to capture of all, using them in battle feels like a great honour.

The Bird trio. I nearly went for the Beast trio though, because I like the Electric-Water/Ice-Fire combination.

 

[Infinity Mk-II]

I guess Tao... oh, no "main trios".

In this case, the deers by far. They are a pretty original concept for a pokémon, have the better backstory, and I like their designs. And they are unique themlseves in gameplay.

The Beasts though are second.

Why have the weather trio, dragon trio and tao trio not been included in this poll?

The weather, dragon and tao trios are more prominently known as version mascots, so they may or may not be in their own poll in the near future.

The Musketeer trio, followed by the Beast trio. It's too bad both have limited movepools because of the fact they're all quad-pedal.

It was tough for me to decide between the Emotion Trio and Muskedeer Trio, but I do like the Muskedeer Trio more in terms of design, even though the idea of deer-like Pokémon had been done before. I loved the Emotion Trio for being just that - a trio of Pokémon personifying powerful emotions - but their designs seemed lackluster.

Musketeer, as well as the birds. They're a tie in my mind.

I love the design and concept of the Musketeers (except Keldeo. Forgive me for not liking it, but if it had not been in the game I would've been happier.)

I honestly don't know why I like the birds. Especially Articuno.

No love for the Golem trio? I love the unqiue and difficult ways you get them, it makes getting a legendary much more satisfying.

I choose none of them! They are all too hard to catch, and the Weather Trio are roundly superior!

Hey, where's the Weather Trio? I loved them!! I'm not picking anything until that's modified!! XDDDD

... but I don't want to get a warning, or infraction. Anyways, my second fav trio are the birds cuz they don't move around and are kinda like the ONLY useful legends I ever had.

Bird Trio. Beast Trio is second. I really liked how GameFreak incorporated the Bird Trio into Platinum.

They all have something mysterious about them that I like. The others have in-game mythology, and I don't like that. Takes away the mystery.

 

[Blue Dragon]

The birds for me only because I experienced the mystery of them in the first games. They hold a sense of nostalgia for me and Articuno is my favourite out of them.

The legendary dogs would be my second favourite though and Suicune is my favourite out of them. ^^

I've always liked the birds for some reason. Not really sure why. The dogs are a close second.

The Muskedeer trio are my favorites. None of them roam and I think they are very unique looking and have unique typings.

I like the Emotion Trio the most. I have used Mesprit and Uxie alot in D/P/Pt games. I like their backstory and the curses they would inflict one you: looking into Uxie's eyes(complete loss of memory), touching Mesprit(loss of emotion), and harming Azelf(loss of mobility.). This shows how powerful and lethal they can be dispite their pitet proportions. Galactic Commander Saturn was right about the the powers of the Lake Guardians being frightning. My second favorite is the Musketeer trio.
