Visitor message problems

I've recently come to notice a problem with some visitor messages.

Me and WindBlast were having a conversation via VM when we noticed that some VMs just sorta... disappeared. Meaning that, even though we typed them out, they didn't seem to appear in the other's VM section a short time later, if at all. It came to our attention when one message sent by WindBlast informed me of the missing posts. Strangely, that one got through, but some others just seemed to vanish. Does anyone know what might have happened? Because it appears a number of posts either never made it to those sections, or something else caused them to be deleted before even appearing. Any ideas what might have happened? Thanks in advance.

Something like that happened to me with one person, I try to respond to her message, and it says I have no permission to do so.

Another problem regarding on VM that I always encounter is that typing in Japanese will often appear as some question marks when posted. Such problem will become significant when typing in long sentences like up to a paragraph. Though when I click "Edit" the VM post, the originally typed Japanese characters are fine and intact. It just seems there is problem during the encoding of making it a post.

Any possible solution to solve this problem?
