The first time I caught a Gyarados was very confusing for my ten-year-old brain, namely the fact that Gyarados is a flying type. I remember thinking "It doesn't make sense, but that's ok. He can be my HM-Fly slave." but it turns out Gyarados can't learn fly. :sweat:
