It was late at night at The Labyrinth. A black monolith jutting out of the sea, within its walls were held Outlaws, superpowered criminals. The walls were fortified, and cells were tailored to keep everyone in. But beyond that, security wasn't as heavy as one might think: There were few Adepts among the guards, and there was some tinker-made equipment, but not a lot. The structure stood in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Thousands of miles of sea surrounded the facility. Some of the Center's strongest mages had bound water demons to the sea surrounding it. They were contracted to devour any watercraft not associated with the center.

Inside of the Labyrinth, a single lift connected fifty floors worth of cells. Each one was tailored specifically to keep each prisoner within. Pyrokineticists, for example, were kept in what amounted to freezers. The cells of mages were warded against magic use, and tinkers like Frederic Yang were kept away from anything they could use. But every once in a while, they did something unpredictable.

"What the hell are you do-Oh my god you killed him." The guard said. Frederic Yang, or Doc Yang as he preferred to go by, specialized in surgery. The Center had ignored him while he stuck to healing...But then he branched out into body modification. The doctor took the Hippocratic Oath very seriously. He had never killed a single person, and had an uncanny ability to keep people alive long after they should have succumbed to death.

That was not a mercy.

The being that had once been Douglas Blunt stood. Dr. Yang had managed to fashion surgical implements from the few tools he had on hand. He had built a scalpel from a bit of metal, and unraveled the black-and-white striped uniforms the prisoner's wore for thread. Using these, Yang had created a twisted mockery of a human. The creature's mouth extended all the way to its ears, jagged pieces of metal serving as extra teeth. They hadn't been put in properly: They dug into the monster's gums. A long, thin metal rod extended from its scalp. A receiver for the remote Yang had built using a stolen television remote.

Yang himself was sitting cross legged on his bed. He calmly pressed a button, and the creature lunged at the guard. One of the hands had been removed, the bones and muscles used to turn the other one into a distended claw. The unfortunate guard who had opened the cell door was frozen with shock, and by the time he had composed himself, it was too late. The man's gun clattered to the floor, as a pair of jagged fingers stabbed him in the eyes, piercing them and reaching into his brain.

Yang grabbed the guard's gun, then patted Doug on the head. He heard the guards approach. He was done for. It was more or less been suicide, that much he had been aware of. He didn't want to live in the facility any more. All he cared about was taking as many guards as possible with him. It was an assault rifle the guard had. The tinker had some experience with them. He was just about ready to meet his fate when the lights in the facility went off.

And when they were on, the doors to the other cells had opened. The security measures were all off. He didn't know it, but something had docked with the Labyrinth. At the lowest level, a great submarine had found and entrance, and something worse than any of the inmates had entered the prison.

(( @SudoWooper @Flaze @Flannery @Meow Wow @Heartist @Argan @PyroPokeman @lovandra, better late than never, no? Feel free to describe the facility how you like. It's a huge prison, and many areas are specifically made to keep a given prisoner in. You're also welcome to have your character be in the process of causing trouble or trying to escape if you feel so inclined. Belongings of a character are usually kept in lockups around the facility, but most guards have keys.))

Archie, whom had been sitting upon the futon, was playing about with his scimitar-forearms when the alarm had gone off. Rising up with a yawn, he blinked as he watched several guards rush by in a hurry. Once the coast was clear, the man cautiously walked past the gate that once had sealed him in. His dark eyes, like tempered steel, roamed the prison to see the other unlocked cells. With a smile, he unleashed his scimitars and begun to attack the guards with agile stabs to the chest areas. The method was efficient and effective, crimson liquid rolling down the twin blades like a melting popsicle. However, the liquid instead was blood, and his blades weren't melting. His smile grew into a grin as he made his way through the sea of guards, slashing left and right like a mass-murderer.

Ajit sat in an average looking cell, or at least he wished it was average. Because he was able to take down to very powerful thugs, they locked him up in a very extreme prison. There were no signs of any super natural power on him, so they threw him into a cage, put that cage in a cage, and put THAT cage in a cage. All they knew was that he was a thief, and he would have the skill to pick the locks, but if there were multiple locks, it would take too much time to unlock all 3.

"Great" he said, lying sown on the floor. Though, there was one blessing, the bars were put in the cage in order to keep him in the darkness, so he could not see. There was a lamp inside, and there was some ventilation somewhere, but no matter where he looked, not an inch of light was in sight. "Come on, Tulpa" Ajit said to himself as he tried to summon that bizarre being that helped him fight. Yet, there was no avail this time around.

He had been surprised that they hadn't taken his guns. As a traitor and a wanted man, he had expected worse. But Miles had come to realize that they didn't need to worry about security because of their current isolation.

Having spent years in the Center's employ, he was intimately familiar with their procedures and protocols. So when the lights shut down and the cell doors open, he knew that something very wrong had happened. Someone was attempting a breakout. Grinning, Miles picked up his pistols and slid his white mask and black hood over his head. "Showtime." He muttered to himself, stepping outside his cell. He would be getting away from this place.

How far away were the sounds? 100 feet? 200 feet? Four? Sounded like they were coming her way anyway, might as well just wait it out.

Alice checked her food slot for dinner. Inside there was a bowl with a substance that was vaguely similar to oatmeal. She took it back in her cot and started eating. Only two people had spit in it beforehand, must be her lucky day.

Orchid sat quietly on her cell.

Her cell was really nice and almost like a nice hotel room than a cell. Way better than the other prisoner.

Her cell was form from 2 cells. She only had bars on her door and the rest area of her wall is nicely closed. Inside, she had her own kitchen and bathroom. She slept on a nice expensive bed with silk as the cover.

Well, she lost almost all her power wheh her finger had been cut but she still have had little bit of her power left. She was popular as a heroin supplier inside the Labyrint, with only her chant.

Half of her clients wasn't the prisoners though. Most of them already insane and little bit of her power won't bring any effect to them.

But she really like the game they'd played once in a while. Once on every weeks someone must be tried to go out from The Labyrint, and failed.

The officers on the inside, not too bright. They most of the time, unofficially punished to be here, to be victimized by hundreds of bloddy outlaws, worse on the generation.

'Wow, someone went really far this time,' said Orchid when the lights turn off and her cell had open.

Riley at down on the back of his cell. There wasn't anything special about it, there was a bed just for him and he had made friends with the guard that brought him his food so he always got to have something a little better than anyone else. He did curse the fact that they had taken away his knives and that the room had been equipped with magic seals that prevented him from activating his contract with Quetzacoatl, something that reminded him of th efact that the dragon must be bored not having a way to see the world.

Thankfully it seemed like the days of him living in a cell had been counted as he noticed the doors opening. He knew that many prisoners tried to break out in a regular basis and it was suicide to try and follow along, but there was something in him that told him that this time would be a good time for him to join along. With that he pushed himself up from the floor and walked out of the cell.

"Hey you!" he heard two guards yell as they ran towards him in fury. He grinned, a childish mischivious grin as he turned to the guards and vanished from in front of them, causing the two to halt. Before they could do anything mroe though they were both kneeds on their groins before being lifted up and thrown aside as Riley reppeared once more, this time holding the key to the lock up cells that one of the guards was carrying. "Time to get away from here," he said as he glared down at the guards and began running.

The door to the room opened.
"Night time," the guard said. He procured a syringe. "Take this."

Smelled familiar. The same sedative she was given every night, only a higher dosage than usual. Must be related to the ruckus she hear upstairs.
Something seemed off about the guard.
"Repeat that again? I wasn't paying attention," Alice lied.
"Night time, take this." There's a faint bit of nervousness in his voice. Should be able to intimidate him.

"Okay," she said baring her arm.
The guard put the needle to her arm, she grabbed it and threw it to the wall, startling the guard long enough for her to grab his gun and shoot him.

She took the keys off the guard, unlocked the door. "Gotta find more ammo, only five shots in this thing."

Dr. Yang stayed behind his abomination, providing cover fire as they went through the facility. The prisoners outnumbered the guards. Though armed, the prisoners had power. It was turning into a full-blown riot. Though resilient, Yang's monster had been shot a few times. It couldn't feel pain, but having bullets lodged in it's muscle fibers was slowing it down. Yang turned to the nearest prisoner.

"Hey! You! Sword arm guy!" Yang said to Archie. "The only way we're going to survive is if we work together!" Yang didn't look trustworthy. He looked downright slimy. He was very tall, and he may have once been handsome. But he early hadn't been taking care of himself even before he was captured. His teeth were yellowed, and lack of sleep had formed dark bags under his eyes. His lank black hair was greasy, and a later of stubble covered his face.

"I took some info from this guy's brain." He said, tapping the grotesque monstrosity that had at one point been a guard. "The evidence locker's not too far. That's where they put all the stuff they take from Tinkers." Yang may have waited, but he was in a hurry. Whoever had shut down security had to have gotten here somehow. If they hurried, they might be able to kill them and take it and get off this rock. As he hurried down the hall, he ran right past Riley without even noticing him. There, locked inside three cages, just across from evidence, was Ajit.

"You must be strong. Keys." He said. The creature that had been a guard handed him the ring of keys, giving him the three that opened the cell. "We're leaving. We can blow up this facility too if the opportunity presents itself." With that, Yang spun around. He would have had to ask his guinea pig to find the right key, but a guard had apparently died while trying to unlock it. He kicked open the door, and was greeted with a room with walls lined in shelves. They were stocked with all manner of inscrutable devices. Yang grabbed his old lab coat off the rack. It was still covered in syringes. He then took his bonesaw off the shelf. He wasn't sure about taking anything else. Other tinker's gadgets tended to be difficult to use. Further, they were often trapped, doing things like exploding if someone who wasn't supposed to use them used them.

"I'm heading for the lift. Anyone car to join me?" Yang asked his fellow inmates.

Meanwhile, on the lowest level, the exit had been docked with. A great submarine rose from the water. Armed men spilled out. They did not speak to each other. They began to mow down guards as they invaded the prison, fighting as one. At the back of their ranks, they carried a metal, egg-shaped pod.

"Hey, thief boy, here's your meal." A guard said as he opened up the caged door and locking it as he walked though the cell. The cell was designed too accept people of a certain height and voice password, so if Ajit were to attempt to escape, he'd need all the specifics of the guard. However, because he was a lowly average thief, no one suspected such a thing to happen. And they were right, it couldn't. But something else could................

"Oh, thank you, sir" Ajit said as he wolfed down his curry.

"Why do they keep you locked up in such a high scale cell? You're just a petty thief." He kicked Ajit into the stomach.

"ANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANI OK!!!!" shouted the ethereal entity that came out of Ajit, punching the guard senseless. It was dark, so Ajit couldn't see his tulpa in action, from the sound of the attack, it was brutal.

"Ok, now to make a break out of here." He said, with his tulpa beside him.

"Together or not, I'd prefer to get out of here." Archie muttered, pulling his forearm from the guard's chest. Blood dribbled down his blades, as he started towards Yang.

"And exactly how am I to trust you?"

"You'd be stupid if you did trust me." Yang said to Archie. "But you don't have much choice." The man clicked up the dial on his blade. There were three settings. One of them caused the blade to vibrate, allowing it to cut through most metals. The next one caused the blade to heat up, cauterizing wounds as they passed through. Good for when he wanted to get someone alive. The last dial would cause the weapon to explode in the wielders hand.

"The lift should take us down to the docks if we have a key. And I d-" He was interrupted as he saw Ajit.

"Hey, we're leaving. You're coming with." He said, heading for the lift and opening the door.

From the lowest level up, the mindlinked soldiers ascended, gunning down guards and prisoners alike. A few fell, but it hurt the legion as much as it would to cut a person's hair. Finally, they arrived at their destination. A secluded cell, a form hung, upside down, from the ceiling. One of the soldiers came forth, using a gun to shoot open the lock. The figure's face was clad in an iron mask. Even so, she was somehow able to sense the ill intent that filled the room. As the metal egg hissed open, she began to writhe in her binds, as a rubbery black mass slithered out.

Archie sighed and followed Yang, if a bit cautiously. "I don't care how, let's just get the fuck out of here."

"Where do I go from here, though." Ajit asked himself, trying to find himself a way out of the rom that held his cage. They took very good measure to fit a cage in a cage in a cage in a cage in a locked room. "Maybe my Tulpa can help me." he said.

"ANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANIANI" the Tulpa yelled punching away at the wall before Ajit. However, no damage seemed to be done on the door.

"Oh, I guess not." Ajit sighed. However, his disappointment disappeared as the wall before him opened up. Ajit walked out. He was free. "I guess my Tulpa is a pretty Smooth Criminal."
