Welcome Giovanni to the Trainer Lodge in Pokémon Masters EX - Rally announced for the chance to win an acrylic key chain of the Giovanni Plushie

Earlier this week, the Version 2.37.0 patch notes for Pokémon Masters EX revealed that a new trainer would be eligible to enter the Trainer Lodge from September 30th at 11:00pm (PDT). Posts on Pokémon Masters EX's official social media channels have now confirmed that the lucky trainer is none other than Giovanni, the Boss of Team Rocket.

Players will be able to invite Giovanni as a guest to the lodge if they've been able to team up with 5★ Giovanni & Mewtwo. Giovanni & Mewtwo can currently be acquired by completing stages in the main story's Legendary Adventures.

Giovanni was first teased to fans in posts showing a silhouette of the Giovanni Plushie item that players will be able to acquire and decorate their Trainer Lodge with after befriending Giovanni.

Though full details have yet to be confirmed, Pokémon Masters EX has also announced that a special Welcome Giovanni Rally will be running together with the upcoming Trainer Lodge week. This rally will give players to win an acrylic key chain, styled after the in-game Giovanni Plushie.

The addition of Giovanni to the Trainer Lodge should perhaps come as no surprise, considering that the Team Rocket Style for the Lodge was added to the Lodge Exchange earlier this month on September 3rd. Players who have not yet unlocked this style can receive it by completing the Final Chapter of the Villain Arc.
