"Laguna," Jordan replied to Madison as he turned to look at her, a bit surprised and glad that he had been able to find his partner so quickly. "It's a pleasure to meet you Madison," he smiled at her before stretching his hand out towards him.

"Oh hi, I'm Dia!" Dia exclaimed, his face brightening as he turned to Erika. Of course, this was when he noticed the crumbs before proceeding to shake them away. "Sorry, it tends to happen sometimes," he pointed out as he turned towards his senior. "It's nice to meet you Ms. Erika."

"Ohhhh...oh..." Emma looked at Nathan with disappointment on her face. "What the heck are you doing here in the sports branch? I thought you were one of those cooking people but thankfully you have me. I'm going to be straight up because I know that Melissa was something of a friend to you rich boy, I'm going to put you through your paces and when I'm done with you, you'll be fit and raring to go after a week of ice baths and pain." Emma said with no expression on her face.

"Well nice to meet you Jordan. Sorry but a silly thing I thought with the guy named Jordan in sports, it would someone bigger and fitter looking. I shouldn't have said that out loud. I'm really sorry, I'm new and I'm Madison Hart. I just transferred and nice to meet you." Madison shook his hand and then looked at Jake. "And nice to meet you and you too" before turning her gaze to Nathan.

"So what happens now?"

Nathan smiled at her remark of 'something of a friend' and he couldn't help but hear the words of his father and half-brother after hearing 'ice baths and pain' come out of Emma's mouth. He resisted the temptation to chuckle at this, the fact that both father and brother would fit in so well with these people. And deep down Nathan realized that this was why he had joined the sports branch in the first place, that he wanted to have something more in common with the two of them. The truth was that he wasn't an awful athlete, after all genetics in that regard had been kind to him. However outside of a silky smooth jump shot and a killer crossover, he hadn't really developed any skills in any sports besides the ones that pure athleticism would provide. "Don't worry, I'll be able to take whatever you throw at me." He promised Emma. After all, she couldn't be worse than his dad.

Jordan raised an eyebrow at Madison's comment about expecting him to be bigger, since he was 6'3, though he figured that wasn't tall enough compared to other famous players with the same name as him. "Well looks can be deceiving," is all he said as he nodded his head and put his hands on his hips. "But it's okay I'm sure you'll get the hang of the school in no time, if you need any help you can come over to my club and we'll help you out," he pointed out with a confident smile and pointing at himself.

'For now it's just practice time, we can just pick any sport we want to play and...practice as the name says it," Jordan laughed as he turned back to Madison. "I'm not as strict as Emma, I'm more of the fun teacher kind of thing. So what sports ar eyou good at?"

"Well I'm not carrying a cooking knife or a basketball am I?" Anna pointed out before chuckling at Felix. "But yeah I'm in Performance, I'm quite a good singer too so I'll enjoy this class."

"Look normally I'll be like the fun calmer teacher but with you I'll make an exception especially since Melissa to me so much about you. So I'm not going to ask you which sports because that isn't going to help you. I want to help people which is why we are doing the basics. We will start with a 5000 meter swim at the swimming pool...oh wait sorry I meant 1500." Emma laughed at her mistake "3 k run followed by a sport of your choice but at a high intensity level. That's pretty much it because I want work on your core rather than something that you'll be good at. Think of this as a fitness program." Emma explained what she wanted and her reasons behind it.

Madison smiled "Thanks but that Neil guy said the same thing, he never told me about his boyfriend though. Is he ashamed of it? He said there is some club that helps people and something along with friends, so I'm guessing you're his friend?" Madison asked looking at Jordan. "Generally I'm better at winter sports but I don't think you guys have any winter buildings? I'm not really that good at sports" She smiled as she turned to see Jake.

"What's with him?"

"That's cool. I'm an okay singer myself. Not the greatest, but I can carry a tune at least." He said, being modest. "Mostly I just play the guitar though. It's what I'm most proud of," he said, holding his guitar case up and tapping it with his free hand. He was glad to have an acquaintance in the same class, at least. Even though he didn't know Anna very well at this point, it was better to have someone he partially knew, at least. Well, he knew her name, so that had to count for something.

"I wonder... what kind of singing will we be doing in this class?" Felix thought out loud. There were many different techniques and genres for vocalists to pursue, though judging from the name of the class, he figured this would be basic singing lessons in a semi-classical style.

Nate sighed. He still wasn't in the best physical shape when it came to stamina. He was a sprinter, not a marathon runner. Mostly due to the fact that up until just mere weeks ago he was a chain smoker. His lungs still hadn't fully recovered from that past time yet. But he wouldn't bring that up to Emma, not while she was testing him. And if he made it through the first two parts of the challenge, he would be okay. Because he'd hit the basketball court for the third part and he'd let everything his dad taught him about the game take over. He wouldn't need to think, he'd just need to play. In fact, it might even be fun. "That sounds good. I'm guessing Mel felt the need to bring up my... vices." He quipped. "Thus explaining this approach."

After getting over the initial confusion of meeting her partner, she suddenly became a bit more stern and serious. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Dia. Just make sure that doesn't happen again. Your cookies can ruin the food with its crumbs."

"Oh he's just being lazy and not trying to find his partner," Jordan said, causing Jake to shot him an annoyed expression that made Jordan chuckle. "Shu shu, go away."

"Fine, what a good friend you are," Jake scoffed as Jordan turned back to look at Madison.

"Yeah, I'm the leader of the Assist Club, though what Neil does on his free time is something I don't know and don't concern myself with," he shrugged, noticing that Madison seemed to have gone through some trouble in her encounter with Neil before. "We're a pretty diverse group, that guy Nathan," he pointed towards Nathan and Emma. "He's part of the club to...anyways, winter sports are pretty cool, we don't have anything for those I think...we probably should," he scratched the back of his head in confusion before shrugging. "How about we just do some running around the grounds, since you're new I'll take that chance to show you around."

"Considering it's the first lesson of the semester they'll probably just let us do our own thing and see how we do or something," Anna pointed out to Felix while crossing her arms. "This class should be easy, I'm actually a pretty good singer if I do say so myself."

Erika didn’t reply to Dia, but simply smiled at his response. With a content sigh, she waited for any further instructions from the teacher. It was the first branch class for today, and as such, it started off with basic Culinary class and would eventually lead into more advanced classes like International Food and Restaurant Operations. It was the same as always, but for Erika, there would be a noticeable difference. Nathan wouldn’t be there. It would be quite the change for her as he was always in her culinary classes.

She grinned, beginning to think of the past, only to be snapped out of it by her teacher, Mr. Gann, or as the students called him, Chef. He was a man in his mid thirties who originally went to school for music and opera, only to drop out and become a chef. Erika always looked up to him due to this, as her situation was quite similar to his.

“Alright class, welcome back.” He said, clapping his hands together. “Today we’re going to do a simple timing activity to get back into the swing of things. Nothing much because I know you all went through a lot in the finals.” With these words, Erika frowned.

“In your assigned kitchen with your assigned partners, you must cook a simple lunch within a half an hour. It must include a cool drink and a hot meal. I’ll be grading on appeal, taste, and timing. Use the fridges and supplies to your heart’s content.” With this, he pressed a small button on a watch. “You may begin.”

Erika perked up and motioned Dia to follow her. “I think we should make grilled cheese with cream of tomato soup, of course the drink should be milk. That needs to be poured last…”

As soon as Zane arrived at his class, he noted the area around him. It was quite different from the other fashion classrooms because it lacked the ordinary supplies, such as fabric, sewing machines and mannequins. He took a deep breath. His first class was Fashion History, one of his favorites. He enjoyed seeing how the trends of the present stemmed from the trends of the past. A middle aged woman stood near a desk in the front of the room and motioned for Zane to enter.

“Take a seat anywhere, today is going to be more relaxed.” She said, a gentle smile on her face. With this, Zane took a seat in the front and waited for any other directions.

"I don't care what your vices are and regardless of whoever it is even if it is my boyfriend, I would make them do my fitness program because I like training people." Emma looked at Nathan. "Alright let's start off with a quick run instead, I would say 3 kilometers should start off us. So we will take it light and by light I mean power jogging anything slower and I'll add a penalty of more distance for about 1 km then I want you go to full out alright?" Emma started to jog the first part at a quick pace. She was aware of Nathan's cigarette problem and she had no sympathy for him which was why he was treated the same as others.

About a kilometer into the run, she started to go into a quicker pace hoping that Nathan will catch up to her. She actually forgot that she was actually running with him and accidentally added more kilometers before stopping to take a quick fire rest to hydrated. "Ahh I think I lost him....maybe I should actually make sure they catch up to me. Oh well "

She looked at the running track and yelled out "Nathan if you are around somewhere hit the pool pronto and we are hitting the laps and then hitting the gym for a quick session on the rowing machine and then maybe hit some weights before we are doing a sport of your choice if you survive."

"Running? I'll race you." Madison was chock full of energy and she fully started to run way ahead of Jordan. She kind of wanted to impress the others to show that she could match them without any issue. "I wonder maybe I have trying too hard?" Madison thought to herself as she was running, running and more running until she tripped and fell onto another person.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I was with Jordan and he and I were running and I tripped, I'm so sorry...." Madison looked at the ground in embarrassment without looking. It was someone familiar.

"Don't worry about it Miss Hart. All you do is bump into me," It was Steve the blonde that she met running into class at the start of the day. "So Jordan is your partner, nice. Great guy and I think I see him."

Madison looked behind and then was helped up by Steve. "You do?" She dusted herself off and looked behind her. "Thank you."

"Yo Jordan, nice to see you taking care of the new girl. What's happening I haven't see you in a while" Steve walked up to Jordan and slapped him on the back. "Great to see you on the field as well man"

Nathan was... surviving. Barely. His lungs were on fire from the run. But he wouldn't quit, mostly because he didn't want to deal with Emma if he did. He finished, catching a few needed breaths before taking a long sip of water. "Well at least the pool will be refreshing." He noted with a grin.

Zima sat in her Art History class not really paying attention to the teacher due to her mind being elsewhere. It had been fifteen days since her first strange incident with Jordan, and ten since the other. She thought back to Christmas Eve first when she had kissed Jordan under the mistletoe, not thinking. Then there was New Year's Eve. The parents had decided since Thanksgiving was so fun that why not do New Years. They didn't know Zima was avoiding her friend. She thought back to that night, it being harder to get from her mind.

The group watched the TV as the ball was getting ready to drop. As the countdown started, they started counting down with it. "10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1! Happy New Year!" they had yelled. Lucy gave Danny a kiss on the cheek, much to the boy's chagrin, Zima would have laughed at it, if not for the fact that rather than the usual no big thing after yelling Happy New Year, she for once got a New Year's kiss. When the countdown process had finished, Jordan had kissed her. Neither paid mind to the parents as she let herself fall into it. However when they broke apart, both were blushing and embarrassed. Zima quickly walked away, feeling awkward, ignoring anything Jordan had said as an explanation. Luckily her parents hadn't seen.

Since then she hadn't seen or talked to him...well to a point. They had main classes together, but she had avoided him in those too. She sighed. How had life become so complicated so fast?

Danny like his sister sat in his class, however his was something about camera techniques. He didn't care. It was stuff he knew. He cared more about the day ending and him finally being able to officially join assist club, and Anna was joining too. They had main classes together and doing assist together would mean more time together as well. The thought was exciting to him.

Neil sat boredly in class, not even taking notes. While Neil did not have an Eidetic Memory, he already knew what was being taught in the class and was resting his head on his right hand, zoned out and staring at the back of some random person's head. So many things went through his mind yet none of them could hold his attention. At one point Neil almost started to nod off but luckily he was able to keep himself awake.

"Now Maddy, first rule, make sure to always look where you´re going," he pointed out, nodding his head in an attempt to sound stern, though he was only kidding with her. He then turrned back to Steve after he slapped his back and smile calmly. "Not much really, finals gave me some trouble last semester so I figured I needed more training, aside from that things have been pretty normal for me...mostly," he said, remembering how he had openly kissed Zima at new years and hadn´t properly talked to her since. "Just some girl trouble," he shrugged. "So you know Maddy I take it?" he said, glancing at Madison. "This guy´s pretty cool himself so it´s good you met him on your first day."

Dia scratched his chin curiously as he listened to Erika speak, noticing that she seemed slightly troubled about something. "I could kind of go for a BLT," he muttered as he glanced at his senior. "I know we´re supposed to be deciding, but I couldn´t help but notice that you seem slightly troubled Ms. Erika."

Emma could see that the pool was full, it was too bad she wasn't with Melissa who had leverage or a sports star because she would have the leverage over everything sports related. At least most she had the track and that's what she excelled at. "Oh that is not good, the pool is occupied. I have to figure out a contingency plan." Emma then found Nathan after a bit of search.

"I have both good news and bad news. The good news is that we don't have to do any high intensity swimming because the pool is fully booked and occupied but the bad news is that we are on the track longer, so I would think about 400 meter sprints about 4 laps should be fine for me to assess where we are going next with this program," Emma just pointed out as her phone buzzed. "I will deal with it later but let's find the starting blocks and we will get sprinting and I want 100%." She was a hard taskmaster but she knew he would thank her later or through his ghost.

"We all have girl trouble, man. I was trying to avoid my ex-girlfriend Elizabeth, you know one of the cheerleaders and boy it did not go well at all. She was like I want to get back together and I was like Eliza, you dumped me, you dumped me." Steve started babbling along about his ex-girlfriend. He turned his gaze to Madison who was tying her shoelaces. "Yeah she bumped into me literally in the morning and I can tell you that she is never going to be a cheerleader with that clumsiness which might be a good thing since Melissa, Emma and Mindy left. Man how come you didn't rock up to Melissa's goodbye party? I thought you and her were close as."

"Oooh who's Melissa, his girlfriend?" Madison asked without any clue at all. "Or your girlfriend? Or someone's girlfriend? Ohh I'm going to stop talking now...now...nnn...ow." Madison backed away slowly to let both Steve and Jordan talk.

"Anyway I better find some dude that I'm supposed to be helping, I told him to dig a hole like I was taught last year. Catch you later Hart and Jordan." Steve left them trying to find his partner.

Madison looked at Jordan and then looked at the ground, "Umm Jordan person, what are we going to do next?" The light copper red haired teen flashed a very nervous smile.

"What?" Erika asked Dia somewhat defensively. "I'm not troubled. Even if I were, when cooking, you have to block out these issues." It was clear her voice wasn't certain when she said her first sentence, but the assertiveness came back afterwards. "Now I know you're all for a BLT, but the meal has to be hot. So we're going to make a simple grilled cheese unless if you have any objections."

Nathan sighed. He couldn't catch a break. Of course, this was typical to his life as of late. But he still wouldn't quit and he did as instructed. Emma would see that he was quite quick out of the blocks and he had some serious speed. However, his stamina was sorely lacking and he couldn't keep up his pace the whole way.
