Sophie smiled at Erika's arrival. She considered how to say what she needed to say to the girl for a few moments before realizing that she shouldn't really sugarcoat it. Erika deserved to know the truth. "I just got off the phone with Nathan." Sophie said quietly to her. "He was just getting on a plane to come home. He told me to tell you that he's gonna be back tomorrow." She didn't know what else to say. "So..." She felt awkward, knowing that Erika was well within her rights to tear her brother a new one. "I guess that's a good thing right?" Sophie sighed, she hated feeling like this.

Sophie's words shocked Erika, as she would never have guessed Nathan would come back so soon. While she did feel happy about this news, she was mostly conflicted. He apparently didn't believe she was important enough to tell her about his return himself. "Oh, yeah." She said, sounding awkward like Sophie. "A really good thing." She added, though it was not hard at all to detect the uncertainty in her voice.

Melissa walked into the house that she was staying in and sighed. "It didn't go well, he's a stubborn asshole. You know you try to help people but they don't take help. Oh well at least I don't have to talk him ever again. To think I was trying to help him in school but I give up," she dumped her bag on the couch and went through the news on her tablet. "Now there better be some good news about something."

There wasn't much news.

"Oh right competition, I better text Jordan...." She typed up a text via an app that said. I'll be in America nearby for competition, you guys are welcome to come and thx bye. but she didn't send it. She felt that everything with the club and stuff that they didn't really care that much about her that if she rocks up, she'll get support. "I don't even talk to these people at all....you know what screw it, I'll just send it." Melissa send the app based text to Jordan and hoped that the news will go through like wildfire. Heck she barely got along with the sports branch due to the fact that she felt that she wasn't getting any support in the school compared to others.

However now she was happy because she had all the support in her swimming than ever before. She kind of disliked how Tyson who was the star of the sporting branching went in his leadership but there wasn't a thing that she could until she just moved on. Melissa though waited for any response from Jordan. "Anyway time to watch some tapes," Melissa watched some tapes of her swimming, trying to figure out where she could improve.

"It's okay Zima, I don't mind," Anna pointed out while shaking her head and stretching her arms. "Classes are about to start though."

***

Tyson looked at Rafe once more before shrugging. "I guess you have a point there, but for now we should just wait is what I believe," he nodded his head before standing up from the table. "Anyways, I think it's best if we start heading for class, we have to give the example and whatnot."

***

"Sister actually," Freed replied with a smile as he wrapped his arms around Sicilia's waist. "And well, I wouldn't really say we're close he was attending a private school abroad up till a few weeks ago," he explained as he looked at his file. "He applied for a scholarship and was admitted into the Performance Arts branch, but I'm worried since he's a bit ambitious, I know I'm his uncle but the kid has a bit of a silver tongue on him."

***

Jordan heard his phone beeping, realizing he had gotten a message before fishing into his pocket. "Oh, a text from Mel," Jordan replied with a smile as he read the text she had sent. He actually hadn't talked to her much, not because he didn't want to, but rather because he didn't know if she would accept it. "That sounds awesome, it's nice to know you'll be coming back for a bit, when's the competition and where? I can take the others to...with some convincing :)"

"Huh I'm kind of surprised." Melissa read the text that Jordan actually sent her back. She mused trying to think of a way to reply back to Jordan until it clicked in her mind. "Competition is in about two weeks, so just before Valentine's Day. It is pretty close by as it is in the nearest biggest city. It's over the weekend though to make it easier on everyone...Emma has got tickets basically, so just talk to her...Thxs"

"Yeah we should get going. I'll see you guys later maybe," she told them heading towards her class.

"Guess we should get going," Danny said towards Anna.

````````````````````````````````````````
"Oh well maybe you can take this chance to get closer to him. Also if he is performing arts I may have him for one of my dance classes later, or even one of my English classes. If I do I'll keep an eye on him for you. Now as much as I want to stay here like this. We have class, so I have to leave you," she told him, again kissing him, but not yet unwrapping herself or leaving.
It was time for club activities once more and for the clubs to gather as per usual.
Anna was the first one to get to the clubroom and she began looking around before taking out her phone. "Guess Jordan really isn't coming today," she pointed out with a sigh. She knew that the comic book competition was on that day and Jordan had told her that he would be doing a request for Luke in helping him out with the competition. "I guess it'll just be us for now, though we could go watch."
***
"The story in this isn't half bad," Jordan pointed out. He and Luke had asked for a studio room in the Arts and Design Branch building and where working on finishing the comic for the competition. "It's black and white like a manga but also has more western elements to it, it flows nicely too," Jordan said while scratching his chin in thought. "You could maybe shade a little less though."
"Yeah, I do use that too much," Luke nodded his head while sighing. "My problem right now is that I still have to finish up on drawing some characters completely, I designed them a bit too...flashy I guess, it's hard to draw up."
"Well I'm no artist that much is for sure," Jordan pointed out before smiling and taking out his phone. "I can help out with this but if you need someone that can help you with fast and clear drawings I've got just the man,' he replied before he began to dial Will's number.
Will's voice came on Jordan's phone.
"This is Will speaking. For what purpose are you calling?" He asked slightly curtly, not even aware of who was calling.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alice walked into the clubroom and saw Anna.
"Hey Anna." She greeted.
Then a question popped into her head.
"Um... Anna, has your brother any chance told you what's going on between him and Zima?" She asked.
"It's me Jordan," Jordan greeted Will once he heard him answer, a smile crossing his face. "I'm doing a request for a friend but I'm gonna need some help from you dude so, if you can head over to the third studio room in the arts branch building that would be great,' he replied before looking over at Luke, who was just raising his eyebrow at Jordan.
"Hm?" Anna turned around to look at Alice. "No, not really, how come?"
"Okay, I'll be there in a half hour." Will replied. "I had to stop at home to pick somethings up, I'll make haste and see you shortly."
Will then hung up.
Will stood in the foyer of the Vermillion Manor. It was large, with somber black woods and dim lights. It was decorated with several oil paintings of former household owners, including his father.
Will sighed. "Sometimes I wonder why I call this place a home... It's more like a prison..."
Will stepped up the stairs and turned down a long hallway before stepping into his room. It was bright blue, with several bright and colorful water colors hanging on the walls, and art supplies cluttering the room. Compared to the rest of the manor, it was actually bright and open.
Gathering the art supplies he needed, and a new book he was going to read. A knock on the door echoed on his door.
"Come in." Will said cooly.
A middle aged man, with perfectly combed hair and a business suit entered.
"Hello Will." He said, in a voice that seemed warm, but held an ounce of condescension. "How are you doing?"
"What do you require?" Will asked. "You only ever talk to me when you need something."
"Come on?" The man asked. "I'm your father, the least you can do is show me a little respect."
"Your no more a father to me then a stranger." Will replied cooly, not even looking him in the eye.
"Hold your tongue, you insolent child!" Will's father retorted before regaining his composure. "I need you to attend a benefit for Vermillion Industries. As the heir to the company, it's important for you to become slowly immersed as a face for the company."
"So in other words a mascot?" Will replied coldly. "I'd rather not."
"I'm not giving you an option." Will's father replied.
Will picked up his bag and looked his father in the eye with a cold glare.
"I'd sooner die then accept your company, and unless you want the publicity of your son's suicide all over the tabloids, I suggest you go to hell and leave me be. I have to attend club now, and actually help others. Something you've never known since you only serve yourself." Will said.
Without another word, he brushed his father's should and left Vermillion Manor and walked back to the school.
After awhile, he finally arrived at the art studio. "I apologize for being so tardy, I had some family matters that needed to be attended to." Will explained. "What is it you need my assistance with?"
------------------------------------------------
"Um... No reason..." Alice replied slightly saddened. "Forget I asked."
Danny entered the club room without a word and simply walked over to the couch, plopping down on it. He started rubbing the bruise on his chin silently, flinching slightly at the pain.
"Hello fellow club members!" Lucina cheered, joining the group of three in the room.
Sophie walked in next, a few moments after Danny and Lucina. As usual, she looked glamorous and fashionable. The only thing was that if someone looked in her eyes, if they were at all perceptive they would be able to tell that she was exhausted.
Erika walked inside, quickly pursuited by Zane who was currently going off on a tangent about a current event of his. "So we were finally able to create a costume crew for any upcoming play or musical. It took us a while to actually create the crew, but we did it..." While Erika was happy for him, her mind was elsewhere, and her emotions were greatly conflicted. Nathan was coming back soon, and depending on how things were to go, there was the serious option of breaking up with him. Not only had he left without a word for a completely idiotic reason, but he didn't even feel the need to let her know he was coming back himself. His lack of consideration was extremely bothering to her, and she was at her wit's end. The last thing she wanted to do was express so much concern for his actions up to the point of exhaustion, though it was quite clear this was exactly what she did.
"That's nice." Seemed to be her only response to Zane. Walking over to the couch she sat down and placed her bag on the floor. Zane pouted at this and walked in after her, making his way to his chart and instantly drawing an 'x' underneath Erika's name.
"Hey you too," Anna turned towards Erika, Zane and Sophie. She then looked back towards Alice and smirked. "Seems like something is bothering you." she then turned towards Sophie and Erika. "You two seem bothered with something."
***
"Hey Will, glad you could make it," Jordan said with a smile as he waved at Will. "This is Luke, he's a friend of mine from the arts and design branch," he replied before pointing towards Will. "He requested me to help him with finishing the comic book he was going to be submitting for the comic book competition in a couple of hours but he needs some help with drawing some characters cause the designs are a big complex for him to really get them out."
"It's nice to meet you," Luke said before bowing his head politely towards Will. "And sorry for the inconvenience."
'This isn't an inconvenience, it's a job," Jordan smiled at his friend before patting his back.
Sophie took a long look at Erika and sighed. She could only imagine what was going through her mind at the moment. And as much as she'd like to blame the girl for whatever happened tomorrow... she really couldn't. Nathan had really stepped in it this time, even if it had been good for himself in the long run. "I think we're both dwelling over the same thing." She said quietly to Anna, referring to herself and Erika. "We're both tired."
Erika was thankful for Sophie replying for her and simply nodded in agreement. "Been a long week. I need to sleep more."
Zane continued to scan around the room and mark each person according to their attire. Anna and Lucina received an 'x' alongside Erika's and Sophie earned a gold star. Surprisingly enough, Danny gained a gold star as well.
Jeremy walked in the club room behind the others, his messenger back on his side, with what looked to hold news papers and magazines. He walked towards the couch and sat down, sighing.
"Zane I'm starting to think you have a problem with me," Anna pointed out with a frown towards Zane before she noticed Jeremy sighing. "Now you look like you're bothered about something too," she said. "Oh by the way, Jordan won't be coming today or Zima the two of them are going to be participating in the comic book competition."
"What's wrong with you?" Danny asked Jeremy noticing his sigh. He also looked at the fashion chart of Zane's, surprised he got a gold star. "Guess I should sport bruises on my chin more often," he joked.
"Yeah what is that bruise from anyway?" Anna asked curiously once she shifted her gaze to Danny.
