"Well everything's been normal really," Jordan replied before seeing the others walk over. As he saw Mel introduce herself to Lucina and such he remembered the cookies that Dia had given him. "Oh right, I almost forgot," he said before taking out a bag filled with cookies that had the words Good Luck on them. "Dia one of our new members made this when we told him about the competition, I wanted to give them to you before it started but we got here a bit late."

"Mel, that was amazing!" Anna exclaimed as she and Carly finally made it down to where the others were. "I didn't think you could do that...by the way are any of those male swimmers si..ow," she groaned when she felt Jordan pinching her ear. "Abusive much?"

Neil had watched the swimming competition. It was somewhat boring to him as he really didn't care for the sport, and by the end he was somewhat ready to leave. Neil got up, stretching his stiff muscles, and started to leave. He realized it would be rude for him not to say anything so he quickly found his club mates and inserted himself into the group. "Hey great stuff," said Neil, feigning a smile, in the months Mel had been gone Neil really realized how much of a bitch Mel had really been. "That's pretty cool, step one to the Olympics right?"

"Nowhere close to the Olympics, nowhere close but in the right step I hope. This really doesn't mean much except it is really more of a scouting thing to see where the young swimmers such as myself are at and their potential, so it's rests in their hands but I'm nowhere close to the Olympics as the speeds there are far too greater than mine but thanks for coming I guess," Melissa added graciously to Neil.

She then turned to Anna and added, "Trust me Anna, they are way to old for you and they don't have time for relationships, heck I don't have time for one because are way too busy for that but then again they aren't any that peak my interest." She smirked at the thought of any of them being attractive to her. Melissa then looked at Erika, "Hey it's nice to see you too and thanks but there is no need for your friends to go off to random places, they are welcome to talk I mean there isn't really much that would neglect them at all."

Melissa finally turned to Jordan, "Yeah thanks but I can't eat these biscuits, strict diet and well I got a few days off, so that would be nice to go back home but I'm kicking back tonight at the city, the parents are going back home now and Emma and Mindy have their competitions later this week which I'm going to as well, so why don't you guys join me for dinner tonight?"

"Um, sure, I think it's okay at least," Jordan nodded his head before looking over towards Carly. "Can we?" he asked with a smile.

Carly scratched the back of her head in thought before nodding her head and shrugging. "Sure, as long as we don't leave too late, you guys have school and I gotta get back to the university since I have an essay due tomorrow, one quick bite couldn't hurt though."

"Oh...now that I think about it," Jordan said before looking over at Zima and Danny. He knew that their parents were strict so he was worried that them getting back too late could get them in trouble. "You guys okay with that?"

"We have to call and ask," Zima said. "Can I borrow your phone?"

"We have to go. It was nice meeting you Mel," Lucina said quickly before walking away with her father and Timothy.

"Sure, here you go," Jordan fished into his right pocket before pulling his phone out and handing it over to Zima.

Zima walked away to talk, after a few minutes of talking and some arguing, she finally hung up looking somewhat annoyed. "Its fine," she told them, handing Jordan's phone back.

"You sure?" Jordan asked with a worried expression on his face. He wasn't able to hear what Zima was talking about, but he was able to notice that she seemed to be arguing before.

"She said yes, that's all you need," Anna replied with a nod.

Danny frowned at Anna then turned towards his sister and whispered. "Everything okay?"

"Yes. Don't worry," she said for everyone, shooting Danny a look that said he didn't have to. However he still wasn't happy with how Anna replied.

"That's very kind of you, I'll be sure to tell them if we do end up going to dinner." Erika replied to Mel, a bit more formal than she would have preferred. "Though I'm curious, I overheard your conversation before, and I was wondering why you weren't surprised Nathan came."

Watching the event with Zima on the phone, she frowned slightly, eventually turning back to face Mel.

"Oh I don't have my phone with me due to competition...and you were talking to Jordan..." Melissa trailed off before Erika approached her. "Why? I just assumed that he would have other things to do, you know rich people," She exclaimed trying to hide the fact that she had a meeting with him before but she thought no one would notice, "So you know those rich people have stuff, so I know this great place."

Melissa turned to Jordan, "I'll be in the area for a week, so you guys must have a Valentine's Day thing coming up right?"

"Yep," Jordan nodded his head. "The school is doing something for valentines day I believe."

After they had gone to dinner with Mel and talked to her for a bit more the group decided to head back home, with Carly taking Jordan, Anna, Zima and Danny just like she had done on the way there.

It was almost 11 pm and they were close to Zima's and Danny's house, with Jordan looking out the window in thought as he remembered the events of that morning. He looked back at Zima for a moment before sighing. "I got jealous with Robin because I was afraid," he said, something that caused Anna to gasp as she wondered what he was going to say next. "I mean, I was afraid you would end up leaving the club or something cause you had more fun outside of it and well, things just wouldn't be as interesting if you weren't around."

"Jordan...I would never leave the club. You should know that. I love the club so much. It's one of the lights in my life," she told him, giving a gentle smile, along with gently placing her hand on his arm.

Jordan blushed slightly before nodding his head at Zima, only for Anna to let out a sigh due to her thinking Jordan was going to do something else. "Okay, sorry for overreacting then," he laughed and smiled at the girl before leaning against his seat.

"Okay here we are," Carly said before she parked in front of Zima's and Danny's home. "It was fun meeting you guys," she pointed out and smiled towards the two siblings. "I'm glad Jordan has someone to keep him in check."

The ride back to the city was a quiet one, and after most of the trip, Faye had fallen asleep in the back of the truck, leaving both Al and Erika awake in the front. The two rode quietly until Al broke the silence. "Are you okay? You're awfully quiet

"Yeah. Just tired."

The truck remained silent for a few more seconds. "You should sleep then. It's getting late. You're the one who wanted to pull into the rest stop." Erika simply laughed at this as Al continued, "If we skipped the rest stop, we could be home by now."

She eyed the small cup of coffee placed in the cup holder near her brother. "I don't see you complaining." She commented, smirking slightly while crossing her arms. "You're lucky that place had a Starbucks." Picking up his cup and examining it, Erika looked back over at him.

"I need the caffeine." He replied, purposely staring down the road in front of him to make a point. "Unless, you know, you want to drive."

"Hey, I'm the one who forced you in the rest stop, so no sass." She replied with a huff, placing his coffee back in the cup. As they continued to drive, Al's thoughts began to fade to Carly, and to memories of his fourth year at Seven Point. It was a hard year for him. Erika was about twelve back then, and it was around the time their mother fell into a coma. Everything seemed to drop down hill after that. After receiving a suspicious look from his sister, the ride continued in silence until Faye woke up after a bump in the rode spilled his coffee. Of course, after Faye woke up, the silence never came back until she was dropped off for the night.

"Thank you Carly. It was nice meeting you. Jordan, Anna, see you tomorrow," Zima said to them.

"Night," Danny said to them.

When the two walked into their house, Danny went straight up to his room. Zima however stood for a moment, and once he was safely in his room, took a slap from her mother. "Next time I won't be so kind." Zima just glared up at the woman as she left the room.

After they had dropped Zima and Danny off the carride had become quiet once more until Carly reached Jordan's and Anna's house. "Guess she fell asleep," Carly laughed as she saw a sleeping Anna lying on the back of the car.

Jordan just laughed and nodded his head. "Meh, she's old enough but I guess carrying her once in a while wouldn't hurt," he said and smiled at his little sister before turning to Carly. "Thanks for taking us again Carly."

"It's okay, it's been a long time since I've seen you guys so it was nice to spend some time together," Carly smiled gently before looking forward. She seemed to be going into thought from what Jordan noticed, though he didn't know from what. "I promised to myself when Adriana died that I would try to fill that place as you and Anna's older sister or...something of the sort at least, I know I'm not around much."

"New York might be close but it's not easy," Jordan laughed before grabbing onto his pendant.

"That Zima girl seems interesting," Carly pointed out with a smile as she looked at Jordan. "Though...you and your sister really are related, she wasn't exactly easy on confessing her feelings, I was the one that had to do it...I still get embarrassed when I remember that," Carly pointed out with a slight blush before looking at a now more serious Jordan. "You guys are in similar positions. Good friends, both afraid of ruining what you have, both confused."

"I know but...lately I realized that maybe it's okay to risk it," Jordan nodded his head before opening the door next to him. "I'm gonna do it."

"Good but like I said your situation is a lot like Adriana's and mine was," Carly pointed out, causing Jordan to look towards her. "From what I noticed when she called her parents, it doesn't seem like her home life was as bad as mine, but still if you really do this then, you should protect her no matter what."

"It's not just her," Jordan looked back at Anna before walking out from the car and opening the door in the back so he could lift her out. "I have Anna and everyone in the Assist Club to look after, though they also look after me," he laughed before closing the door. "Good night Carly."

Tuesday February 14th

It was now Valentines Day and 7 Point High was prepared for it. Over the last couple of weeks the school had been set up with different types of game stalls, food stalls and other types of events in each of the branches for this day. Of course 7 Point's event wasn't limited just to couples, instead valentines day at the school was divided, one for people to enjoy it with their significant other but also for them to enjoy it with their friends even if they're not in a couple, it was an event that included everyone at the end of the day.

Of course, each Branch had been set up to do their part one way or another. The Assist Club too had been asked for help with this. Dia and Erika were both asked by Olive to help her out at the main kitchen in making her special valentines day chocolates, on the other hand Felix and Nathan were assigned to help some of the members fromt he performance arts branch in preparing a special concert for later while Zane and Sophie were asked by the fashion branch to help prepare valentines day themed clothes and other garments for people to buy.

The Art Branch too had been assigned the task of acting as painters for couples but also in helping decorate the school itself while the sports branch had been left in charge of keeping track of all of the games along with the science and technology branch. Media had been left to take pictures of the event and what went on during the day for the yearbook at the end of the day.

Because of this busy day the Assist Club had spread its members out so the would help out around the school, with the exception of two members.

Jordan stood in front of Zima, his arms crossed as he looked at her for a moment before scratching the back of his head. "I have to ask you for help with something," he said before looking around.

Erika wasn't really that bitter, no of course not. She was extremely bitter. Not only did the blend of recent events with Nathan and Valentine's Day not exactly mix for her, but she appeared to catch a nasty cold. She blamed Dia entirely even though the two didn't interact while the boy was sick. After hearing about the current request, she grabbed her items and messenger bag, eventually making her way to the Cooking Branch. She began to look for Olive, and upon finding her asked, "So you want us to make chocolates?"

Unlike Erika, Zane was quite fond of Valentine's Day. While it was true he wasn't one for romance, he always enjoyed the day's festivities. The whole idea of focusing on couples and "cutesy" stuff was a major break from school work and that was reason enough for him to enjoy the holiday. He walked to the Fashion Branch, his sewing kit in hand, and found the place where he would work on his clothing for the day. He began to cut a soft, white fabric with red hearts, which would become a scarf soon enough.

"Yeah, the branch is busy today with all the food so I needed someone to help me with the chocolates," Olive sighed. Her apron was dirtied and there were some chocolate stains on her face. "You weren't the only one that called," she said before pointing towards Dia who jumped and looked away in embarassment when he saw Erika.

He wasn't so much scared as much as feeling bad, even though it wasn't his fault Erika had gotten sick he started to believe so himself and felt bad for it, plus he also knew about everything she was going through at the moment. "I'm glad you could help though," she said towards Erika and smiled.

"Smile" Jeremy said, extremely dryly, and sarcastically as he took photos of 'happy' people. It wasn't that he disliked Valentines Day, he just didn't really see the point of it. Maybe he'd feel differently if he had someone to spend it with, but it really didn't seem like anyone was interested in him.
