"Danny opened the bathroom door and hit me. That's all, now excuse me I need to get home. I have homework to do," she told him ripping herself from him. She didn't want to talk about it. She wasn't going to talk about it. Her life was her business and no one else.

Erika remained quiet the whole entire time because she wasn't sure what to say. She was learning a lot of new things, and most of them were quite...awful. Listening to what Nathan said, she only replied, "No it's fine, you didn't know...I..." She muttered, looking over at the door.

Nathan sighed. He had not wanted Erika to see that outburst, as it was clearly going to stain her opinion on him. Looking at her, he took a long moment before speaking again. "I didn't know, you're right." He said this solely to break the silence and to give him more time to consider his next words. "I will be honest, none of today went as I had thought it would." Nathan smiled sheepishly. "And I have no idea where it leaves you and I... not to be forward about there being a you and I." He quickly corrected himself.

Aphrodite walked the halls of the school, stopping as she saw Sophie. She admittedly felt bad to a point about things said, however she still felt she wasn't wrong. The girl needed to learn. With a sigh she spoke up. "Do you not have assist club today? Because if you don't then you might as well come with me," she told her.

Sophie looked up from the book she was reading when she heard Aphrodite's voice. "No, we don't have club today... well at least not all of us." Sophie explained. She raised an eyebrow, not sure what the other girl had in mind. "Come with you?" She asked curiously. "Where are we headed?"

"I know we have to talk about this at some point." Erika said with a sigh. "I don't want to jump to conclusions either. I think it would be stupid to just give up on us just because of some mistakes we've made."

Nathan smiled at this. "It was a mistake for me to do so." He admitted after a few moments. "I thought you had and well... I shouldn't have done that." He sighed. "But yes, I think we should sit down and have a talk about everything... in a situation that's less tense than the current one."

Aphrodite correctly assumed that Sophie would indeed follow her. She did however have her guard up, having no idea what the other girl had planned. She was silent, trying to figure out what was going on.

Aphrodite lead Sophie to an elementary school not far away from their school. The school seemed to be just getting out as they arrived. Waiting at front was a young boy and a girl about two years his senior. Both had blonde hair blue eyes, the boys was short, while the girls hair was long.

"Both parentals were aryans," she told Sophie as they reached the two children. "Hermes, Persephone, this is Sophie a friend. These are my younger siblings. Now then let's go," she told all three.

Persephone was quiet on the walk, however Hermes was not. He kept asking Sophie simple questions but non stop at the same time. The questions were how many siblings she had? Who was the oldest of them? What's her favorite movie? What's her favorite book? What's her favorite thing to do? Does she have a boyfriend? How old she is? What's her favorite food? Persephone did ask one question however which was what branch she was in at the school.

"Of course." Erika replied, her lips forming a gentle smile. She then gazed back over at the door where Zima and Jordan left. "Now isn't really a good time. I hope they're alright out there."

"You're right, now really isn't a good time." Nathan's tone was gentle. "I hope things work out alright..." He added as an afterthought.

Sophie caught the 'were' in Aphrodite's explanation as well as the word choice of Aryan as a description, a word she hadn't heard outside of history class, well ever. She chalked that up to the fact that for good reason Europeans were a bit more touchy about that word and the associated connotations of the term. Her thoughts were quickly interrupted by the children's questions however. She smiled at them and began to answer them as quickly as she could to keep up.

"I have a twin brother and half-brother. My half brother Nathan is the oldest of us, but only by a couple of months. My favorite movie is The Great Gatsby. My favorite book is Don Quixote. My favorite thing to do is to work on my fashion designs. I don't have a boyfriend, I'm seventeen, my favorite food is bouillabaisse, which is a French fish stew and I'm in the fashion branch." After this, she took a deep breath to catch up after all questions.

Finally after some walking they arrived at Aphrodite's house. It was a simple one story, four bedroom home. Walking in it was clean and orderly, on the walls were pictures, and in the living room was a gas fire place. On top were several pictures of a boy. He was good looking with a charming smile and short blonde hair and the darkest blue yes as opposed to Aphrodite's and her siblings lighter ones. In one he and Aphrodite stood with their arms around each other, he in a gown and graduation hat, Aphrodite stood in a nice dress looking to be in eight grade. A few others were him in sports uniforms, one specifically was a soccer team with a trophy, he was in the middle holding it. The middle picture was just a headshot of him. Other pictures were of him young, there was one of each if the siblings a babies being held by him. A few showed him with injuries always being tended to by Aphrodite.

Tossing her bag on the floor of the living room, her siblings followe suit, and she motioned for Sophie to if she wanted to. She then lead them to the kitchen. "What do you guys want to eat?" She asked her siblings.

"Mac and cheese," Hermes cried out.

"No way. Fish sticks," Persephone argued. Soon the two started going back and forth saying the name of their choice.

"Alright that's it stop. We'll let our guest choose. What do you want to eat?" She asked Sophie.

Walking through the house, Sophie was stuck with a question. That being where their parents were. Of course, she didn't ask the question because deep down she had an idea of what the answer was. Sophie still didn't quite understand why Aphrodite had invited her over. She did know that it wasn't for dinner. Once again, she was caught off guard by the question. She felt bad choosing, mostly because she didn't want to make either of the children unhappy. "They both do sound good..." She thought out loud, mostly as a way to try and help keep peace between the siblings. "But I think I prefer mac and cheese." Sophie admitted sheepishly. "Anything I can do to help out?" She asked Aphrodite with a smile.

"No I can do it. Do you two have homework? If not then you can choose a game to play whiled I cook. Maybe Soohie will play with you."

Both shook their heads at having homework, so they ran off coming out with chutes and ladders, and candy land. "Which do you want to play?" Persephone asked her as Aphrodite set two glasses of orange juice. She set out a third glass along with the orange juice container, and a two liter of coke.

"If you want water we only have tap." She then pulled out some soy milk and poured herself a glass as the water boiled for the food. She took some pills from a weekday container thing and took them using the soy to wash them down. "You can ask anything you want. If I don't want to answer then I'll let you know," she told her as she cooked.

"Whatever you two want to play is just fine with me." Sophie said to Persephone quietly as she grabbed the empty glass and poured herself a glass of water out of the tap. She did have one question that would be easier than the others to ask. "Do you have any idea why your parents chose the naming theme they did?" Sophie asked Aphrodite with a knowing smile.

"They like Greek deities names. That's it. Also they'll start arguing again if you don't choose between the two games."

((Was that the answer Sophie was expecting?))

((She expected a deeper answer than that lol))

"Fair enough." Sophie had been expecting something slightly more detailed than that but she supposed it was possible that their parents had just liked how the names sounded. "Thanks for the tip." She said quietly before turning back to the two younger kids. "Okay in that case, how about Candy Land?" She asked before turning her head slightly to look at Aphrodite again. Sophie was impressed at how her classmate was able to handle everything that she was doing regarding the kids, as well as her own life. "Your parents..." She seemed uncomfortable to the point of being unable to ask the question. "Never mind, you probably don't want to talk about that." She muttered, sounding apologetic.

Jordan didn't say anything as Zima got out of the hold. Part of him told him that he should insist, another one told him that he should just leave it alone. "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow then," he pointed out with a sigh before scratching the back of his head. However, his curiosity was still piqued and he knew that there was someone that could maybe help him out in learning a bit more about Zima.

It took him a bit to find him but eventually he was able to go to where Robin was at in the arts Branch at the moment, which made it a little easier to approach him since he was by himself. "Hey," he waved as he walked towards him.

***

Derek had made his way towards the sports branch in order to approach his next candidate for his club. He hadn't been able to completely convince Alice since he had had to leave that day, but he did tell her about his club and that if she felt like the Assist Club was getting troublesome that she should join his.

He noticed Emma and Madison walking towards him, causing him to smile before walking over to them. "Hey," he said to Madison calmly and politely. "You're Madison right?" he asked curiously.

"Hello Jordan. It's a surprise to see you here. Do you need help with something?" Robin smiled kindly at Jordan.

```````````````
"Divorced for a few years now. Father lives across the country now and mother is always working. Haven't heard from my father in years," Aphrodite explained to Sophie.
"Yeah actually," Jordan nodded his head before looking away for a moment, trying to think on how to approach his situation. "See, Zima and I started dating yesterday but today well long story short I wanted to ask you something," he said as he walked closer to him. "Please be honest with me Robin, how long have you known her and do you know anything in regards to Zima's family and her situation?"
