"Can't a girl do both?" Anna asked before giving him a sly wink as she walked towards the arcade. "You'd find I have some tastes that don't match with who I seem to be from time to time," she pointed out with a curious expression. Ever since she was little she had been around video games, not just cause of her mom but her sister and even Jordan, so she too had come to take a liking for them, though she wasn't into them as she used to. "Arcade games have always held a special place in my heart though."

It was the night of Christmas Eve and instead of preparing for the party that was thrown at Nathan's house for the Assist Club on the next night, Melissa was kind of somewhere else, somewhere far far away. Even further than where she drove to pick up some Ceylon tea back 3 weeks ago. Melissa didn't actually tell the group that she wasn't able to attend the party well they didn't ask her, so she didn't tell. She didn't really think at all that they would care and actually she thought the party would be kind of a drag like the pizza parlor party that she went 5 years ago where the dancing moose got stuffed with pizza and stopped working much to the happiness of Melissa back then. Where she was had a lot of people with trolleys and people walking around holding giant bags. However Melissa was not alone, the brunette teen was with a man with blonde hair that looked like he was around the age of 40, a woman with brown hair looking vibrant and beautiful and of course Melissa's two best friends in Emma and Mindy. The former 2 were Melissa's family, her father Barry was an investment banker, her mother Elizabeth was a flight attendant.

They were all holding forms and pushing trolleys while Mindy tried to fill out the forms that was given to her. "So what does this mean? Do I have anything to declare? Do they think I'm doing something wrong? I can't understand this pressure. It is too much and what if they want to arrested me because I'm me. I can't live in jail, I'm too delicate." Mindy grabbed Emma and continued "I don't even have a pen. There is too much pressure."

Emma shook her head and sighed. "It is a simple form. It is not hard at all to fill out, do you have any food from the States that is of a fruit, dairy, vegetable and meat?" Emma read out the question out loud. "What happens if you mark it wrong, Melly?"

"All I know is that you end up in Australian TV and be humiliated but other than that I have actually no clue?" Melissa already filled out the form and they had to go and get through passport control.

Elizabeth smiled as she pulled out her passport. "What actually happens is that you will have to pay a fine or be deported but yes my daughter is right, you'll end up on Border Security."

"Oh that is so cool. Thanks Mister and Misses Harrison for taking us with you all. My parents were like are you sure because they say I can get on their nerves and something about Christmas last year where I kind of invited every single person and they weren't happy." Mindy recalled last year where she invited everyone that she could and they had a massive party which ended up with the Christmas Tree smelling like urine and poop scattered all over the neighbour's wall. Thankfully they did not press charges.

"Yeah thank you both for allowing Mindy and I to accompany your daughter to this fun trip. My parents say they want to rediscover their marriage by swingers which isn't the best thing I can think of but apparently it will help their marriage. They wanted to get rid of me and were very pleased that you allowed me to go to Australia with you both." Emma's parents were very odd, they kind of had issues with each other which includes cheating on each other and Emma's mother having a relationship with her childhood friend which when the rest of the family found out let to a lot of arguments and confusion. "Weren't you supposed to go to that party with your clubmates? Did you tell them that you weren't going?"

Melissa laughed "Nooo but I did say I found a rock which was in the room for some reason, I like to think it was due to Erika that cooking chick but I don't know. I don't think they will miss me though." Melissa and the rest of the group went to get their passports checked and their customs. Everything went well for all 5 of them and with that they walked outside to see that it was pitch black in Sydney, Australia.

They got into a black Holden that Barry rented at Hertz. "Alright girls we will be going through the city, so you can see the Opera House, the *** and we get to drive on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so take it in girls. Take in the sights of the greatest city in the world." Barry said as he drove along with the Eastern Distributor which links the Airport to the City. They were staying with the Harrison family around the North-West of Sydney which wasn't too far from the city at all. I guess one would go on the Lane Cove tunnel in this case but the girls were keen to go sightseeing.

"So where is the place to shop?" Mindy asked as she stuck her face to the window looking at all the lights of the City.

Elizabeth looked at the girls as she answered "Well there is the QVB area and the city of course I guess around Market Street as well. So I would try that around Boxing Day where they will be opened but right now they will be closed." She had a certain grace about her which Melissa kind of lacked. Melissa kind of was part of her father's personality more than her mother's.

"I'm totally keen for shopping but where exactly are we staying?" Melissa asked as she sat in the car and was watching Emma reading a 'Tour Guide to Sydney'. "Don't tell me we are staying with cousin Shane. The guy is a weird prick"

Mindy smiled and jumped in glee "This is so awesomeeee."

Alice was making christmas cookies for the Assist Club Christmas Party that would be held the next day. Deciding to start out simple, she started making chocolate chip cookies.

After an hour or two of actually getting everything ready, she started to lay out the dough into small balls on a cookie sheet.

"Hello Alice." A voice called.

Alice turned around to see her father, clad in a scarlet dress with ear rings shaped like Candy Canes.

"Um... Hi dad." Alice said, focused on her task.

"How are things going with the Assist Club." He asked.

"There okay."

Chloe sighed. "You know, if there's anything you need to talk about. You can ask me."

"I'm fine." Alice smiled.

"Funny, when you say that. That's when I start to worry the most." Chloe chuckled in a forced girly tone, before looking his daughter reassuringly in the eyes. "Remember, if there's anything you need to talk about, just come and tell me. I'm all ears."

Alice wordlessly nodded.

Chloe sighed. Just like her mother... Poor thing doesn't want to bother others with her own problems, so she just tries to hide it all with a smile. In some ways that's admirable, but as her parent, I can't let go on for too much longer. Still, the only one who can ask for help is her.

"Anyway." Chloe said. "Be sure to say hi to everyone at the Assist Club for me, okay?"

"Will do dad." Alice replied hugging her father, before returning to her task.

She's such a strong girl. Chloe thought to herself. Sara... I think you'd be very proud of what your daughter has become.

Jeremy wasn't sure if he was supposed to get any gifts for the other members of the club. Maybe he'd just show up with some cookies or something. He wasn't particularly fond of the party being on Christmas Eve itself, not that he didn't like his friends in the Assist Club, he'd rather spend the day with his family.

"I know a girl can do both...but I just never thought you liked them because you never showed interest before..." he explained to her. He then caught what she said next and looked at her curiously. "Why?" was all he asked.

((Guys did you read Haze's post? It's Christmas Eve and the party Christmas Eve not day))

Erika finally managed to finish preparing her gifts, each one wrapped perfectly. None of them were large, and neither of them cost much. The thought of this made Erika feel horribly guilty, as she knew everyone else would be giving much nicer presents. It then hit her. Not only had she wanted to bring something else to the party, she desperately wanted to improve her regained cooking abilities, and she had finally found the perfect solution. She was going to cook something. After a moment of thought, she quickly decided that while desert was a good idea, people were more than likely to bring something. Not to mention her strength was in cooking, not baking. Erika wasn't exactly fond on the idea of bringing a dinner either, as that was probably to already be provided. Appetizers weren't needed and any other meal was too much of a filler.

She decided to put together something that didn't really fit into either of those categories.

"I'm just going to make a large salad, I don't have time to make anything huge." Her eyes darted back and forth around the kitchen, searching for the oil and vinegar needed for her vinaigrette. "Three to one ratio, gotta remember that..." Erika muttered to herself as she began to prepare the salad.

"I told you I used to come to these with my sister a lot," Anna pointed out as she turned back to look towards Danny. "I haven't come to one in a long time though," she nodded her head. "She rarely visits now," she said while looking down at the floor.

"Watch your mouth young lady. Your cousin is not what you call a prick or anything of the sort. I don't know where you pick up such words." Elizabeth stared at her daughter as Mindy and Emma both laughed.

"Oh come on mum, he's a total prick. Remember the last time I saw him? He threw my wallet down a river and we had to spend 5 hours to look for it before I had to get a new one. It was a better one but a new one nonetheless dammit." Melissa pointed at her purse which wasn't her wallet whatsoever but it helped to make a point. "I don't losing things."

"Unlike her virginity....." Emma muttered much to the chagrin of Melissa but the laughter of Mindy but not so much laughter or any from her parents. "Sorry about that. Anyway Melly when was the last time you actually saw this cousin of yours?" She asked trying to cover up the joke that was in terrible timing. While Emma asked she could see Mindy's face just stuck to the window trying to see the sights.

"Oh my god. They drive on the otherside of the road. Isn't that dangerous?" Mindy noticed the cars coming from the other direction on the otherside of the freeway. "What happens if they ram into us? I can't live like this I can't." Both Emma and Melissa just looked at each other and shook their heads. "Aren't you guys like scared?" Mindy asked as she grabbed on to Emma's shoulders and started to shake her back and forth.

Emma who was being shaken back and forth like a James Bond Martini grabbed Mindy's arm. "No I am not scared, stop doing that. So Melly what about the cousin or someone else more intelligent could answer the question for me." They stopped at a traffic light where there were policemen doing RBTs just before Christmas as it was about to be Christmas morning soon considering the timezones.

"Alright well it was like 6 years ago and yeah I know people change but god damn it was my purse wallet. You can't repair damage like that...."

"Yes you can."

"Mummmmmm!!!!" Melissa groaned.

"You can and you'll be on your best behavior. You know he is an athlete now." Elizabeth turned to the girls and smiled.

"Cricket?"

Elizabeth nodded her hair as both Emma and Mindy seemed really interested. They had driven through more traffic and some really need stores including a drive through McDonalds which was very common around metropolitan cities around major countries. "You think McDonalds changes around the world but no, no it does not at all." Emma shook her head as she on one strip of land saw 3 McDonalds. "But here we are in the world of Globalization where nothing changes at all and everything is so homogeneous. So what is the so called difference between these McDonalds and the one at home?" she asked.

Barry answered since he was the one with the most experience when it came to Australian life. "Well Emma I glad you asked because I have to tell you that we have a Big Mac and we have salad and that's all I know." He didn't eat at McDonalds at all so there wasn't much to go by. Eventually they had reached the house which was really big with a swimming pool and a tennis court and covered in Christmas lights.

"Swanky" Emma said in awe at the house because nor did she, Melissa and Mindy had a house like that. It was really not something they had seen at all but it is something they want to enjoy. "I never seen a house this big at all...wow." Emma smiled. They all walked out of the car and pulled out their bags until a young man and an older man stood right in front of them.

"Barry, mate you don't need to need to take the bags at all." The man had greying brown hair, a bit of a beer belly and looked like he was somewhat out of shape while the male next to him had dark blonde hair with a lot of facial hair. He was pretty big but shorter than Melissa just by an inch or so. "Shane, take the girls' bags mate and bring them" Barry then hugged Elizabeth. "It is great to see you sis, how are you? Louise is fine, she's just cooking dinner at the moment. Some roast lamb for you all and this must be Melissa, you have grown up a lot. You shot up." He looked at gave Melissa a hug. "And these must be your friends Emma and Mindy...which one which?"

Elizabeth smiled and pointed at the blonde woman "That's Emma, she's a track athlete. She's going to represent the USA in the Olympics one day and this is Mindy, she actually snowboards and of course Melissa's swimming is going well, very well. Oh Bradley couldn't make it, he has a basketball game coming up, you know these kids and their sports."

"Well I hope you girls represent Australia than USA, we need all the help we can get." Steve who was the brother of Elizabeth or better known as Melissa's uncle, laughed. "Tell me about it, Shane here just came back from cricket practice with the Blues, he has a few days off before jetting off the Perth to play in the Shield."

"Yeah we kind of need the win here and damn Melissa, when did you get so bloody tall?" Shane greeted his cousin Melissa. "I remember when you like really short and now damn you are tall and these are you mates? Nice to meet you ladies?"

"What can I say it is genetics," Melissa laughed "Nice to see you doing well for the Blues, what do you do bat? bowl? Oh right..." Melissa realized that her friends were behind her. "Emma Hughes and Mindy North and this is my cousin Shane O'Neill"

"Hello...there...wow." Emma greeted Shane and seemed pretty interested at what she saw. "I'm Emma as Melly pointed out just now." Emma laughed as she blushed.

Mindy elbowed her "You have a boyfriend...." She whispered into Emma's ear. To which Emma's face hit reality as she glared at Mindy.

Mindy then pushed Emma to the side and shook Shane's hand. "Hiii I'm Mindy and I like your house, it looks pretty. Really really pretty." Emma wasn't happy grumbling in the background while Melissa was laughing in the background.

"Err yeah nice to meet you both ummm yeah we better go in because the parentals are already inside and I'm staved." Shane pointed out as Melissa stood next to him about to crack up laughing.

"She's keen on you...Shane."

"Shut up...'Melly'"

The hours past and it was finally the night of Christmast Eve. The city was already shining brightly with only a few hours before midnight arrived and people were already starting their own way of passing the day. "I hope this party isn't a bust," Anna said as she walked out of the room, after she and Danny had come back from the mall she had spent the rest of the afternoon thinking up on what to wear for the party.

"I hope that you two have fun, we'll try our best too," Paula said as she hugged her daughter tightly. She was wearing a black formal dress. "Well your dad and I are going to be going to that party I told you kids about, so at least it's good that you have something to enjoy yourselves with."

'Well I do, but you know how Jordan gets today," Anna pointed out. At that moment she turned to see Jordan walking down the stairs a serious expression on his face before looked at his mother and sister.

Paula sighed as she let go of Anna. 'I know it's a tradition Jordan, but just because we don't do it one time doesn't mean anything," she replied, seeing Chris join in through the living room. "You should go have fun with your friends."

"I am, but I just can't do it without doing this first," Jordan replied, turning away from his parents and sibling as he did. "You guys don't care but I do."

"Don't say that we don't care," Chris, Jordan's and Anna's father scolded him, he frowning at his son after his statement. "You know damn well we care, and it's true that it is something we do every year but it's time to move on," he said, putting his arm around his wife, though her expression had become saddened. "Anyways, merry christmas you two, make sure to come back early," he smiled at them before he and Paula walked out of the house.

Anna just turned to look at her older brother and glared. "I don't care what you think," Jordan pointed out with a sigh as he pocketed his hands. "You can get going to Nathan's if you want, I'll come back here after I'm done and get the presents for everyone,' he said before walking out of the house, leaving Anna as the only remaining person there.

"I'll be out in the car, make sure the door's locked when you leave." Erika heard her brother call out to her. She picked up the large bag that contained everyone's gifts with one hand and the salad with the other. "Yeah, coming!" With a sigh, she made her way outside and double checked to see if the door's lock was turned to the right. While she was somewhat excited for this party, it was also the first time she was going to Nathan's house. If it was anything like the clubhouse they went to, she knew that his house would more than likely be overwhelming for her.

Upon arriving to Nathan's house, his friends would likely be wowed by what they were seeing. A long driveway was blocked by a large cast-iron gate, which they would have to give their names to proceed through. After being allowed through the gates, they would drive up to the home, which was a sprawling manor, passing by massive grounds that were carefully manicured. Upon reaching the entrance of the house itself, their cars would be taken and parked by a team of valets. After this occurrence, they would finally enter the actual house, or at least the main building of the home (which is the only one that can be seen from the entrance). The main hall, with white marble floors and large chandeliers lighting it greeted them next.

At the end of this hall, there was a number of smaller halls that would take them different places. However they would be spared trying to figure out what corner of the estate the party was taking place because Nathan would be waiting for them. Unlike his usual, he was wearing a bespoke slate suit that a keen eye would recognize as being made on Savile Row in London. He was leaning casually against the wall holding a martini in his hand, very much the spitting image of a younger James Bond.

Alice arrived after her father dropped her off the the main entrance.

"Wow..." She said in awe. "This place is huge..."

Alice was wearing a long sleeved white dress with a skirt that came down to her mid thigh, with white flats and her mother's pearl necklace. Carrying several large bags, she walked into the foyer.

"Hey, Nate." She greeted. "Thanks for having us all over. I brought over some cookies and brownies, i made some chocolate chip cookies from scratch, but I'm not sure if their any good or not."

"Damn." Was all Erika could seem to mutter as she and her brother pulled up to the gates. This comment made Al laugh and say, "I think you chose a winner. Why didn't you tell me he was stinking rich? Marry him and my retirement fund is set!"

"Al...wealth isn't important." She quietly replied, looking over at the man who needed to know what her name was. "Oh, I'm Erika Shen..."

Driving on, Al continued to say, "Not to mention I would have made you change." These words made Erika look down at her outfit. She was currently wearing a white, long sleeved button up shirt that was tucked into a pair of black formal slacks. She also wore a red belt and flats, her poorly fitted jacket covering her upper body. "That must be terribly informal compared to what everyone is going to wear. Why are you even wearing that old jacket of yours? It barely fits you, sure it fit you when you were twelve, but it's time to get a new one." They finally arrived to where the door was, and Al stopped the car.

"I'll be fine with it. Thanks, bro." She replied to him, shutting the car door behind her. Getting what she needed out of the truck, she struggled to get inside with all of the items she was holding. After walking for a short amount of time, she noticed Alice and Nathan. "Hi guys." She said, eventually placing the bags on the floor.

"I made a salad. It's okay I guess."

Nathan smiled at the arrival of Alice and Erika. "Hi girls." Nathan greeted them with a smile before stepping over and pecking Erika gently on both cheeks. She would recognize the French custom and also that Nathan had replaced the normal air kisses with actual ones given the nature of their relationship. "All of the food looks delicious." He told the pair before finishing his drink. He put it down and took Erika's bags. "Once the others arrive I'll show y'all around."

The throaty growl of a V6 marked the arrival of Neil in his prize Chevelle. Neil gave his name to the attendant and drove in like normal. Unlike the other people in the club though, Neil opted to park his own car, making sure nothing would happen to his most cherished possession.

Neil walked into the house, he was wearing a slim, gray, 3-piece suit, opting for a bright, Christmas Red, tie to wear under the vest and charcoal gray shoes. Neil's hair, while normally gelled in a short fauxhawk, was currently slicked back. Neil looked like some sort of wealthy, Wallstreet banker. While Neil lived in a modest apartment and drove a Muscle Car he already had made his first hundred thousand now due to his inventions, charisma, and entrepreneurship. Neil was not one to flaunt it, mostly due to insecurities about his friends only liking him for his money.

Neil quickly found Nate, Erika, and Alice within the house and sauntered over to them. "Merry Christmas! Swanky place," said Neil, putting down his own Santa sack full of gifts. Neil then glanced at Nathan, "Hm, James bond? You got the Aston Martin to tie it all together too," said Neil. "Man I would kill to drive an Aston Martin DB5. Hey Nate, you should buy one of those, solely so I can drive it," said Neil with a laugh.

OOC: smaug...Neil is still a high schooler -w- seirously, I mean this even borders on godmodding.

Anna wasn't dropped off by anyone, and she didn't have her car obviously. Well she was dropped off, but by a cab instead. "Thanks," she told the cab driver as she stepped out of the cab and closed the door before staring at the main entrance and what was beyond it. "Oh wow, this place looks rich," she said, letting out a quiet whistle as she walked into the mansion. "I wish Jordan would've come with me though," she sighed before seeing the others and walking towards them. "Good evening guys."

"Hey Anna." Alice smiled. "Merry christmas?"

Alice then gave a worried look at hearing Jordan hadn't tagged along with Anna.

"How come Jordan didn't come with you?" She asked.

"Come on shouldn't you look more impressed?" Lucy laughed at Zima.

"Why should I be impressed? A large mansion taking up so much of nature, much more than necessary, land that could be used for better things, like say an orphanage or something like that," she huffed, causing Lucy to laugh more and Danny to shake his head at his sister. He couldn't say he disagreed about it being too large for the few members of the Ashton family, he believed in a house just big enough for your family with maybe a game room or pool.

Zima was wearing a red halter dress with footless black tights and matching heels. Her hair wasn't in its usual braid, instead she opted for an over the shoulder ponytail, with her green ribbon being the hair tie, well covering it that is, the ribbon being tied in the shape of a bow. To top off her outfit she wore a red Santa hat. She hadn't worn a jacket knowing she wouldn't be outside. Danny instead wore black slacks, black loafers, a green button, and his red hair down, showing it reached his shoulders. To top of his outfit he wore reindeer antlers that lit up on his head. Like the siblings, their aunt herself was headed to a party, dressed in a white dress for the third color of Christmas, she matched their headgear with an elf hat. It was quite a sight to see the three.

"Thank you for the ride Lucy," the two said in unison, kissing her on both cheeks and grabbing the presents for everyone. "Enjoy your party."

"Have fun you two as well. Goodnight and I'll see you tomorrow. Love you two," she told them, giving each a kiss before leaving them.

"Love you too," they replied right before she drove off. The two then proceeded to head inside, smiling at the others. "Merry Christmas!" they cheered.

Zima looked around at who was there. Mel she knew was in Australia, thus Jeremy, and Jordan were the only ones missing. She frowned at seeing Anna but not Jordan. "Where's Jordan?" she asked.

ooc: What the money, I've said before he has money, he's remarked he's sold three products to Apple, all things considering 1 million dollars is not a lot, especially when none of that is in liquid assets and is mostly net worth, in terms of actual physical money in the bank at any given time it's maybe closer to 200k. Neil made a selective EMP and a fully functional Robot Arm, he's somewhat of a prodigy. Besides in the real world there are many people who make their first million really young, especially talking sucessful entrepreneurs, but I'll edit it if you want. Also he lives in a shack by himself, so he kinda has a lot of disposable income i.e. income not used for rent or food or water or electricity.

"Gonna give in to peer pressure and ask where Jordan is too," said Neil with a chuckle.

OOC: yeah that's god modding.

Jeremy had driven in his modest car to the, as he put it, Asher Manor. He thanked the valet as he strolled into the house. As usual he was dressed well, but a little moreso for the party. A simple black suit with a white button up and a black skinny tie was his choice. His hair was longer than his normal short style, as it had been a while since his last hair cut. He additionally was wearing a long dress coat of the Benedict Cumberbatch - Sherlock Holmes variety. "Hi guys" Jeremy said, walking up and taking the coat off. "Merry Christmas" he added
