Erika lightly kissed Nathan's cheeks as well, noticing the French nature of his greet. While she was very rusty on her knowledge of French culture, she remembered that her mother used to greet her father the exact same way Nathan just had, yet she would always send air kisses to her family and friends. Putting two and two together she commented, "How gentlemen like of you." She quietly watched as her bags were taken away.

"Aw. My reindeer antlers were in there. Now I feel less Christmas-y than everyone else." She joked, trying to cover up her uncomfortableness. The last thing she wanted was a repeat of the country club.

OOC: Yeah please edit it, and please tone it down -w- it just gets too unrealistic and weird.

Anna felt a bit overwhelmed by all the questions regarding Jordan's whereabouts. She looked around nervously for a moment before scratching the back of her head, part of her wondering if she should really tell them where he was or if she should just lie. She then looked at Zima, noticing the look of concern in her face and worry for Jordan's sake before replying with a sigh. "He's at the local cemetery," she said somberly. "For christmas our family goes to visit the grave of a relative of ours every year since their death...Jordan's really dedicated to that so even though neither my parents or I were going he still went on his own."

The moment Zima heard Jordan was visiting a relative, that he usually visited with family, she felt saddened that he had no one with him. She grabbed something from the present bags she had brought and then dropped the bags on the floor and with a simple "excuse me" she turned on her heels and walked out the door, and then soon before she knew it she was running, not thinking of what could happen. Finally she reached the cemetery. Taking a moment to breathe, she walked up to Jordan. "Merry Christmas," she told him, suddenly feeling the cold of the outside. She rubbed her arms hoping to warm herself up. She was going to be inside all night. No need for a jacket. Genius.

Jordan was in the cemetery, his eyes gazing down at the grab that stood before him. He hwasn't the only person there, but there weren't many people and he did feel the cold and was actually kind of scared at the darkness of it, he did have a light post, of course he wouldn't tell anyone he felt scared. He grabbed onto his cross-shaped pendant and clenched it in his hand before he began hearing footsteps. He sighed, seeing his breath for a moment before turning to the source of the footsteps, only to come in contact with a shivering Zima.

"Zima? what are you doing here?" he asked with a shocked and confused expression on his face as he looked at the girl. Actually, just seeing her there made him realize that it was probably Anna who had told her where he was. Noticing that she was dying in the cold Jordan took off his jacket and put it around Zima. "Are you crazy, you could die in this cold," he said, trying his best to take the cold himself. He then turned away from her, his eyes falling to the floor. "Anna told you I was here right?"

"Thank you," she told him taking his jacket. When he asked if Anna had told her about him being at the cemetery, she nodded her head. "I...I just couldn't stand the thought of you alone here. So I ran here...mind if I ask who they are?"

ooc: Fine edited. Though I wouldn't call it god modding, that's not the right word for it. Also they all go to a school for prodigies so they're all kind of, you know, special. Also ahem. But fine it's done.

"So does anyone else really hope Zima and Jordan get together tonight?" asked everyone with a laugh.

Dinner went without a hitch at all. It was an eyesore for both Emma and Mindy who didn't know how what they were talking about because of the accent. They were used to Melissa's accent but she had a more refined fused accent due to living in America. It was really tough for them to understand but they spent most of their time watching, staring and looking at Shane (Melissa's cousin) than actually paying attention to the conversations. It actually wasn't a problem for Melissa because even though it was her cousin that they were ogling at, she knew that they had no chance at all because Emma had a boyfriend and Mindy would mess it up somehow. Then again she was expecting something to happen. The girls minus Melissa was given the first guestroom while Melissa's parents were given the other spare bedroom. Melissa was sleeping in Shane's room who had to sleep on the couch because he was leaving in the morning after breakfast to prepare for the match on the 28th of December.

Melissa looked at the room, it was pretty basic with a lot of posters of chicks. She feel asleep but something drew her attention. On the bedside table was a picture inside a gold frame. It looked very regal and small like someone paid a lot for it. She could see that it was on a card. "Oh hello," Melissa took out the card and read it in her mind.

To my dearest boyfriend.
I remember when I was new to school. You were seen as the cool guy that the girls would just flock to. I thought you were one of those jerks but you were nice to me at school and introduced me to so many people. You were my first friend, the one I cherish the most.
As you dated and flirted around other girls, you would never forget how important I was to you. You always made sure that I was always safe and protected and I grew to love a strong, supportive, funny and smart guy who never took his friendships as granted.
I fell for you but it took a while to get through to you but I knew that we were to be together forever.
My rock, my best friend, my lover and my love.
You will always those to me and I will always be there for you
My beloved....

"Awww that's so sweet." Melissa put the card back on the table but stared at the photograph with her cousin and a girl who looked absolutely stunning, her red hair flowing with her piercing brown eyes. She just looked absolutely beautiful and they just looked like a beautiful couple. Melissa put the picture frame back on top of the card and walked towards the main lounge room to see her cousin. It turned out that he was watching some movie on television. "Merry Christmas" Melissa smiled as she walked up behind him.

"Merry Christmas to you too, what are you doing up in this hour?" Shane asked as he turned off the television and threw the remote onto another couch. "Shouldn't you be sleeping or you know talking with your mates?" He laid down on the couch with a black blanket over him body.

Melissa sat down on a singular sofa and smiled "I don't know but I couldn't sleep and I wanted to talk to you about that picture on your table. She is very beautiful...who is she?"

Shane shook his head and then looked at his cousin. "Yeah yeah she's my girlfriend, her name is Cassandra and we have been dating for like 3 years. It is kind an achievement, you know as she is my high school sweetheart I guess if you want to put it like that. She's overseas in Europe with her friends at the present moment which I won't lie but that does worry me because when I went to Europe all I did before I actually dated her was like screw and get pissed all day. You know it is not her that is the problem but you never know, you know? You want a beer or something?"

Melissa nodded but replied "Shouldn't you be not drinking at this hour since you gotta like leave for tomorrow. Anyway I wish I can understand what you are saying because at least you have a stable relationship. A lot of guys are like I don't know I mean I want what I read on that card. I want a guy like that you know, a relationship like that. It is really hard and tough when the guys that I know are just you know not what I want."

"What do you want in a guy then?" Shane tossed a beer to Melissa who had just caught it and thankfully she opened it as it was twist off. "Are you looking for too much because I can tell you that if you are looking for some practically impossible that only lives in dreamland you are not going to find them. What I can tell you is that sometimes you just can't look for a relationship but you just have to let nature take it's course. Sometimes when you push for something you'll never get it. Cheers" Shane opened his bottle and started to drink. "I mean all my failed relationships stem from me trying to be in one rather than just leaving it. You'll know when you'll meet the guy. Anyway I heard you were a swimmer, so what do you see in that as a future?"

Melissa happily took the advice, Her perception of her cousin changed just like that. "Yeah I mean I want to represent either USA or Australia in swimming but the problem is that I don't think I am getting the support here in the States that I need because I do have a coach but he is in charge of students as well. It is tough for me because I know I can go places but I think I'm just losing out to others, you know. I don't even know where the future leads me with swimming because I do have other sports to fall back on but this is something I am really good at. I don't know I just have to see after high school where the future leads for me." Melissa smiled as she took another drink from her beer.

"Look I mean as long as you put in the hard work you should be fun Melissa, so what are you like in school?" Shane smiled as he stretched out. "Are you one of those popular girls that guy hit on? Girls hate because you are popular and fashionable?"

"On a tee, man. It is a fun life and don't tell me I have to break it to both my friends that you are happily taken, it will ruin them" The blonde male and brunette female continued to talk throughout the night and the early morning until it reached Christmas day. It would have been the party for the rest of the Assist Club back in the States as the time difference dictates that. It was interesting that she had learnt so much from her cousin. Her cousin left in the morning to catch a flight to Perth with his teammates. Melissa was the lone person awake, so she had decided to watch some television but there was nothing on at all.

"Merry Christmas Melissa," The brunette teen smiled as she laid down on the couch watching some mindless morning television. "I wonder what is happening at the party over there? I shouldn't wonder because I don't think they care about me. I'm on vacation as well, so I shouldn't really wonder what is happening because I should enjoy myself." Melissa walked outside to their balcony and enjoyed the fresh air, it was a lot hotter than where she came from but it felt perfect to her. She pulled out her phone and sent two sets of text.

Merry Christmas Philly, hope you are fine and having fun with your family.
Love Melly
XOXO

Danny looked Neil with disdain. Before he could say anything, Zima had left, and now he was left here. "My sister is outside without a jacket. I care more about her not dying," he snapped at him. He knew he shouldn't have, but the jokes were not funny to him right now. "Nate can we go somewhere we can sit?"

Erika watched Zima leave in silence, knowing all too well that there wasn't anything she could possibly do to stop her. While she regretted not getting her a coat or anything to keep her from freezing, as she was already gone and on her way to the cemetery. Jordan would more than likely do something about her being cold, but the only issue was if she could find her way without getting lost.

Herself and Al knew where the cemetery was, but regrettably enough, the two had yet to visit their father's grave since his funeral. On top of the fact that Al contained great disdain for the man, they refused to go because Erika thought she wouldn't be able to emotionally take it. Unlike the hospital where she was known by name and visited often, the cemetery always reminded her of the traumatizing day where she found her father dead on the floor. Strange enough, the hospital was of great comfort to her. There was always that small glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, her mother could wake up again.

Their family could somewhat go back to normal. There was the chance she could see her mom's smiling face again. It wasn't too long ago when her mother was caught in that car crash, it happened a bit before she joined the school's culinary branch as a first year. It was due to this fact she wasn't sure if anyone in the club was sure of her mom's true state. Surely they must have questioned why she was living under the guardianship of her brother rather than her own mother, but she decided now was not the time, and was quickly broken out of her thoughts by Neil's joke.

"I kinda have to agree with Danny, we can't even be sure if she got to the cemetery okay."

"I can send someone to bring her a jacket if you want..." Nathan muttered quietly as he looked around. He couldn't help but wonder when he would be able to have something he planned not fall apart entirely. Without quite a bit of luck and the application of his own prodigious intellect, Nathan realized that his friendships and his relationship with Erika would have fallen apart weeks ago. He sighed, looking at Danny. "If you want to go somewhere to sit down we can do that. Or if you want to go look for your sister I can drive you." He offered to the boy.

"I think we should just let Zima take care of it for now. Knowing Jordan, he's probably going to put up some wall so no one knows he's hurting right now. I think, right now... One of the few people who can actually break through this wall is Zima." Alice said.

"I think the best we can do right now is have faith in Zima. I think she's strong enough to help Jordan, and I don't think a little bit of snow and cold is going to stop her. It's possible Zima might actually be the strongest in the club right now..."

Jordan actually felt happy to hear that Zima had worried about him to the point that she would run around in the cold. He smiled at her before turning towards the grave once more, wondering if he should tell her after all. "I guess it's better if I just stop keeping it a secret from you," he said before looking back at Zima, his expression become serene and composed. "My older sister Adriana, she's the one in this grave," he replied silently while looking into Zima's eyes.

"Actually I kind of agree with his joke in a sense," Anna nodded her head before sighing. "I hope Zima's okay though, if she can reach Jordan I'm sure that idiot'll give her his jacket." She pointed out before looking at the others, noticing that they were obviously worried as well. "Don't worry they'll be fine," Anna reassured them. "I don't think Zima's the type to go to a place if she doesn't know how to get there....at least I hope so, but either way we should try to get the party started so that when they get back things don't seem so tense."

"Y-yeah. They wouldn't want us to act all awkward when they come back, so we should try to get started." Erika said, her voice slightly uncertain.

Jeremy, while caring about the impending situation, took the opportunity to admire the room they were in, as he walked around admiring the decorations, his hands in his pockets.

"Let's just go sit down. She doesn't need a jacket sent to her, she knows where the cemetery ism," Danny told them.

She simply placed her hand on his shoulder, and met his eyes. She didn't feel the need to say anything, the action to her was more than enough, since what could she say? She didn't know how he felt and the usual "I'm sorry" was something she never liked when it pretty much implied something as the speakers fault.

Nathan nodded, it would be best for all of them to forget about the issues surrounding Zima and Jordan. When the pair arrived, they would greet them. "I'll have hot chocolate waiting for them at the front door when they arrive." Nathan said to Danny with a smile. "Now come on all, let's have ourselves a party." Nathan suggested and began walking down one of the hallways, assuming his friends would follow.

They would see that many elegantly decorated rooms were branching off of the main hall. However, Nate led them past all of these to a far more casual room. It was clear that this was more his area of the house, as the walls were decorated with vintage guitars, rock and roll posters and a number of flatscreen televisions. There was a fancy sound system and a food and drinks of all kinds laid out. The room itself could have easily held a party of fifty, but even so it didn't seem too big. They could see that there were three doors in this room. One was where they had come in from, the second led to a giant balcony that looked over a lake and the third was closed. "Had to explain to dad I didn't want all the fancy stuff." He explained sheepishly.

Jordan didn't respond either, instead he smiled at her before looking back at the grave and smiling. "This is Zima Adri," he said before looking back at Zima. "A really great person," he pointed out with a soft and kind tone. "I can't tell you the whole story right now, but...thanks for coming, I know I probably caused a lot of trouble for you and the others," he explained. "You're always there to help me out."

With a nod, Erika followed Nathan down the hallway in complete silence as she had no idea how to respond. It seemed almost insane to her how expensive and amazing his house was. She began to feel completely overwhelmed by everything, but managed to push aside these feelings for his sake. "What a nice place." Erika politely said, looking around Nathan's part of the house.

"So if this isn't the 'fancy' stuff, then that room must literally be an actual spaceship or something," said Neil, grinning. "Anyways, tell your parents thanks for letting us use your house for a party, then again, I guess we all are pretty tame for highschoolers," said Neil, noting how much all of their lives were half high school drama and half tired adults.

"Wait you actually didn't sleep. That isn't a good thing Melly, what were you doing?" Emma in disbelief just sat next to Melissa with her breakfast. "Don't tell me you were trying to sing again because you are not cut out for singing at all. Remember when we were 8 years old and you tried singing at your birthday party? You made the clown deaf or he got deaf after he ran into an electric generator but the point is that you can't sing."

Melissa remembered the poor clown. The clown wrote down for Melissa to sign but the clown had trouble spelling so it said sing. Fair to say that the clown didn't have the best of tolerance to music and while he was screaming ran into an electric generator and got fried. Thankfully he was just deaf for 82 days and only lost a clown nose. He was now a bus driver working around the Orlando area according to sources or Chris Broussard. The clown also got into a heated disagreement with Skip Bayless and now has a radio show for ESPN in Orlando as well. He calls himself the Sports Clown and he had stopped drinking after his 3rd wife divorced him.

"Oh I was just talking to Shane about his GIRLFRIEND" Melissa looked at Mindy who's face dropped "And we were talking before he left. So when do we open presents? We do have presents? Don't tell me it is the gift of happiness like last year because I used it up in one day and I couldn't get a refund."

Eventually it was time to open presents and it was another gift of happiness, exclusive tickets to a local football team, a Chelsea football jersey and for some reason a car. "Why do I need a car?" Melissa asked as she looked at the nicely put together Alfa Romeo Giulietta in white. It had door handles with chrome accent, start and stop technology and so on. "Umm wow? How much did that cost you guys? I hope you didn't spend too much on me?"

"It only cost us 25 grand darling but this is your car, just yours." Barry, Melissa father held on to his daughter's shoulder.

"What's the catch? I can't drive in this in States....ummm what's happening?" Melissa asked as she looked really worried.

"Melissa dear," Elizabeth gestured for her to sit down next to her. "We sent tapes of you swimming to a sporting body here in Australia...and they loved you."

"Why?" Melissa asked as she was just confused.

"See Melly, both Mindy and I knew that you were really frustrated with all that was happening in school. How you didn't have your own coach and how the facilities weren't really helping you, you told us all this. You told us all this and we knew as your best friends that we had to do something about it. What we did was Phil, myself and Mindy filmed your laps and your competitions and then gave them to your parents. We know your drive and how you really want to become an Olympian. Then your parents sent them to your cousin here and he did the rest. They really love you and we love you so much that we want to see you succeed." Emma explained, her words minced with sadness as she sat down next to her best friend.

"You were all in this. I...don't know what to say....I'm happy but I'm gonna miss you guys. You have been my first friends, my best friends for all I can remember." Melissa holding back tears was just struck at how much her friends did this for her. "What about you guys?"

"Emma and Mindy wanted to wish you away but they wanted to come, so we talked to their parents as well and bingo." Elizabeth explained.

Mindy happily decided to point out. "Girls' trip, we got ourselves sorted with sport. I'm going to stay in school and finish up since I'm coached by my older sister and Emma has like a college thingy for athletics."

"A scholarship..."

"Yeah what she said and she is allowed to use facilities here as well and so am I kind of I think...Am I?" Mindy asked Emma who just gave herself a facepalm.

"What she said but it is your decision but regardless we will be bff, you know what so make you decision." Emma looked at the car. "I wish I got a car instead of some book on the life of rocks and a Pokemon game. I don't even play Pokemon though my bf did sent me season tickets to every single...Nets game....I need to get a new bf." Emma laughed pulling out the book on rocks. "At least we can now enjoy this trip, wooo girls trip and then we can go gambling, gambling and more gambling...what?"

"Is the car just there to sweeten the deal?" Melissa asked her mother as she got up and started to study the Giulietta. "Still can't believe it is only 25k."

"Yeah if you don't take the offer we are going to return it....." Barry muttered adding "we didn't actually buy it yet..."

"Where will I stay?" The darker brunette teen asked as Emma looked at the book of rocks.

"With your aunt and uncle. You gotta think this through Melissa. I know this is a tough decision for you." Her father said while Emma coaxed Mindy of her scarf for the book of rocks. "This is for your future Melissa and think what is best for you."

"No kidding...what am I gonna do and how am I gonna tell the Assist Club....Oh boy"
