New research has been found on the Overdrive phenomenon:
Only final evolutions and single stage Pokemon can unlock Overdrive. They must be exposed to the Overdrive Core to unlock it. When activated, it increases a Pokemon's stats. Pokemon under Overdrive can only handle it for 2 turns, and after that turn, their stats are lowered by one stage.
When in Overdrive, the Pokemon's eyes glow, and they radiate a yellow aura.
