In a previous thread we discussed the canon PC names. But what are y'all thinking for your IGNs (In-Game-Names)?

Not too long after hearing the Galar region was based on England I wanted my name to be something from a Tolkien language. I finally found this place that seems legit called RealElvish.net, and I think I'm finally committed to the name Amathorn. It's based off Sindarin and means "Steadfast Shield", which is only fitting considering the version I finally settled on.

Probably Juztiz, as that's the name I use online & in games most for Shield (main game).

For Sword...uh, might go with Yuuri since that's the female protag's name in Japan and I prefer it over Gloria.

Unlike most people here, I don't use my real name when it comes to video game characters. Not only is my name rather bland, but I get leery when using it as an online alias, as I had issues with that once before. So, I often create a name or use another franchise character's name (though nothing like, say, Yugi). It'll also depend on which PC I'll use, as I plan to maybe use both. If I go with the male PC, I'll probably use my "default" name of Zeru (which is my pet bird's name, as well as the Zoids Legacy MC name). If I go with the girl, it might be something like Skye, as I've become really fond of that name lately, or maybe Nina, due to my fondness for the Breath of Fire franchise. It all depends on what strikes me as what would be fitting at the time.

I’ve used my real name in most past games (aside from RBY and GS where there was no option to play as my gender) but I might use a username (Harmonie) in case I go online.

I haven't decided yet. I usually like to create a character of my player character, giving them a personality and such. I am leaning towards Lexi as my name for my main game, but I will probably still browse baby name websites for a bit (as I usually do anyway for other characters).

My real name if I play as the boy; the female version of my name if I play as the girl (which just adds one letter at the end).

I'll just name the character after myself...like always.

Even named Red and Gold/Ethan after myself back in the day and just mentally changed the pronouns. I'm pretty much incapable of picking out funny character names. The one time I named them "And I said" I had to start over because it didn't feel right.

I usually always name any characters “Akira Bond”, however, lately I’ve also been using the name “Nova” for my characters, including Pokémon Let’s GO. I’ll likely use the name Nova again for Pokémon Sword.

With recent games, I've been using my own name as, generally, I like to immerse myself in the story. So, it will happen again. However, in the past, I occasionally played through the games as the player character's given name (May in Ruby, Ethan in Soulsilver, Hilbert in White).
