SwSh What are you naming your player character?

It is, isn't it? There's not many ways of reading "shield" in Japanese, so it was either that or "Tate", which... I suppose Japanese players would pronounce correctly, but Western players, not so much. ("Ta-teh" as opposed to "Tayt".)
Also, there's already a Tate in the english version of RSE/ORAS so, you know... something. I don't remember where I was supposed to be going with this.
 
So through a confusing series of events, I now have Sword instead of Shield, which was my intent in the first place :p

As cool as my Elvish name would have been, its meaning was “Steadfast Shield” so it didn’t work as well in the context of Sword. So I went with my original plan and named my character Frodo Bagons. It’s a little weird having all the NPCs call me by my full name though lol.
