What are your expectations for the Isshu League?

Should the fans expect the Ishuu League to be better than Sinnoh's?

I can expect a loss. The writers seem to be givening us a run for our stomachs so I don't expect anything too big.

Sane thing since Indigo Leauge. He loses, goes to a new region, and starts over.
But If N is in the Anime, that would get me interested. As long if his role is not shitty. And if N even interrupts.

I think there will be more emphasis on the league this time as there are no contests to work around so if they make it as long as the DP then they can concentrate a lot more on the League. With the Don Battle they've added a few more possible rivals added to Trip, Bianca, Langley and Burgundy with Stephen and Luke both being characters featured before and then in the Don Battle Tournement. I think Luke may be in the League because he likes his films and will want to document it with him possibly starring giving an acceptable reason as to why he has decided to compete. Also I don't know if anyone has considered this but Paul has travelled all the same regions as Ash (and I don't think they covered what he was doing after Sinnoh) so unless he went to an unknown-for-now region he may be a plot twist in the League, possibly thumping Trip out of it early embarressing him or something.

Overall I think it is going to be on the same level as Sinnoh but not greatly better.

What I do think would be quite an unexpected plot twist would be for James to enter the League and make it to the semi-finals or something as the TR trio have spent a lot of time offscreen in BW which at first was due to their mission. He is a strong trainer who knows how to treat his Pokemon correctly as well and also Jessie had the contests in Hoenn and Sinnoh so I think it's only fair James gets emphasis.
Looking at his Pokemon he could do it anyway, a possible Mr Mime, a Carnivine, a possible Cacturne, a possible Arcenine, a Chimecho and a possible Cofagrigus. This is a strong team and there is nothing to stop him borrowing some of Jessie's Pokemon and personally I think he'll capture another in Unova, maybe a fighting or water type pokemon, so he could possibly be a pleasant twist although I do realise the chances of this happening are like a million to one.

I like none of new rivals. I am not a fan of the low power leveled BW Ash. Hell I'd go as far to say I'm not digging BW. So I expect that I won't like the league as Much as others. But then again Hoenn had a great league when Kanto and Sinnoh were way stronger.
