What are your game headcanons?

The TCG refers to Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma as Ultra Beasts. The games state they aren't, are not coded to associate with them, and are even vaguely expressed through dialogue that they aren't (hence Solgaleo and Lunala taking care of natural satellites in normal Pokémon worlds and creating Cosmog in natural Pokémon worlds).

In Necrozma's case it's rather explicitly stated in SM that it's not an Ultra Beast, just reminiscent of one.

These 3 are terribly mistaken as Ultra Beasts by some people in-game and fans irl for their powers to cross over Ultra Space into alternate universes but at the end of the day they're kinda just fully natural creatures whose powers transcend the boundaries of a universe, sometimes even using them as an opportunity to live in other universes. They are as much of an Ultra Beast as the Audino you catch through Green Ultra Wormholes through Ultra Space.

Eternatus has nothing to do with this as it's said to have came from regular space.

Thanks for clearing that up Ransei!

Time to get crazy for the 50th time...

Ok, so here's a quote from Cyrus's PC in Pokemon Platinum:

According to myths, the Pokémon created Sinnoh with its power. However, capturing the Pokémon with a Poké Ball prevents it from using its full power... But with the Red Chain, the Pokémon can be shackled, and its power can be used without restraint...

===================================================================================================

My claim:
The only reason Poké Ball prevents Palkia/Dialga from using their full power was due to the significant lack of bond Cyrus had with the Pokémon. He doesn't care about bonding with anything. He hates the idea of it, and thus chooses to refrain as much as possible from having any sort of bond. This weakens a Pokémon the trainer owns.

The series has proven enough that a strong enough bond will allow a trainer and their Pokémon to achieve anything. Including but not exclusive to the ability to ease or prevent the pain of Mega Evolution, allow all Pokémon to unleash the full power of their attacks, reawaken the power of all things, overcome odds calculated to be impossible, break past the boundaries of time and space, overcome Arceus itself, and befriend all of Arceus's creations, making themselves an official Pokémon Master.

The Pixie Plate can be read, and has the following engraving: "The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all."
The Legend Plate can be read, and has the following engraving: "From all creations, over all creations, does the Original One watch over all."

Description

GamesDescription
LAA stone tablet imbued with the essence of all creation. When used on a certain Pokémon, it allows that Pokémon to gain the power of every type there is.

The connection between humans and Pokémon is one of the main aspects of Arceus itself, and because Arceus is in everything with the ability to watch over all, the plates are a part of Arceus, they're the source of all power, and the power of plates are shared among all Pokémon, all Pokémon contain the power of Arceus in them. All Pokémon hold the power of everything within them and are aspects of Arceus themselves. The more their bond grows, the more this power grows. At some point, this power even eclipses the main avatar Arceus made for itself as a Pokémon, allowing you to gain power over everything.

In the Pokemon Evolutions short for Hoenn, one can see a younger Zinnia interact with a still-alive Aster (Lorekeeper) while also having her signature Whismur (nicknamed Aster). It's possible that Zinnia named the Whismur after the Lorekeeper while the person was still alive, and my headcanon for this scenario is that the Whismur's full name is actually 'Aster Minor' (like the Ursa Minor constellation) in order to differentiate between person and Pokemon. As for why Zinnia doesn't use 'Aster Minor' as a nickname during the Delta Episode, there are 3 possibilities (in decreasing order of personal likelihood):
1) She dropped the second part of the nickname when Aster the Lorekeeper died, since there was no longer a need to differentiate between the two.
2) Her dropping the second part of the nickname just came about as she grew up.
3) The only time we see Zinnia in ORAS refer to the Whismur by 'Aster' is during the Delta Episode, when she'd likely be facing the worst time crunch of her life so far. As such, maybe her dropping the 'Minor' part of the name is just for the sake of brevity and not drawing out conversation too much.

pokedex entries are mostly misinformation based on eyewitness accounts and local legends and not actually rooted in reality (because that would make lanturn brighter than the sun)
-It would also explain how humans could ever possibly train certain Fire types as well as the contradictory ones such as Araquanid's and Espeon's.

On the subject of the thread, I suspect that Hassel is a native of Blackthorn City (unless something directly contradicts this that I've forgot about/missed).

The existence of the Diamond and Pearl clans in Legends Arceus implies the potential existence of the Platinum Clan. These would worship their Grand Sinnoh, aka Giratina. At first, their values simply lie in living an unruly existence, but that came in conflict with the other two clans, who ended up having to go to war with the Platinum Clan a few decades before the start of the game. As a result of their defeat, some members of the Platinum Clan ended up merging with either the Diamond or Pearl clan, or they wandered off on their own... Which was the case for Volo and his family. It was upon discovering the history of the Platinum Clan that the latter sought out Giratina.
