What are your game headcanons?

  • Red didn't stay in Mt. Silver all 3 years, people just understood that because of his poor communication skills. He traveled to many regions, including Kalos where he released Mewtwo in the most peaceful place (as to where do its Megas come from, I'm working on it).
  • The Ultimate Weapon left Floette in a half-dead/half-alive state for 3000 years. In X, she got back to life because of Xerneas' energy, and in Y she did because she stole Lysandre's life.
  • Zinnia comes from another dimension, and arrived in ORAS' dimension forcing a Hoopa to do it. As soon as they arrived, Hoopa got mad and brought all those legendaries as revenge. Her grandmother is just a random woman she hypnotized using Aster's powers to appear more believable.
  • Lusamine comes from a very exigent family and really had to prove to her father that she could inherit the company. The Science Team from the anime is also a thing in the games.
  • The Galar kings were a married gay couple.
 
Gym Leaders act as the mayors of their cities and towns. If there is no Gym Leader, then someone else will fill in the role for mayor.

They're also apparently bribable with dolls.
 
They don't seem to have parents, either.

We should also note that mossdeep, a town run by children apparently, contains the Mossdeep space center, one of the most important buildings in Hoenn.
 
Leon constantly losing his way towards wherever we going is a nod to the Town Map. As MCs, we always have a Town Map to guide us. Without it, we would get lost a lot more often. This coincides with Leon as he's basically a grown up MC (Just without a Town Map so he gets lost now).

That's actually similar to a headcanon of mine why the Legendary birds and Mewtwo are present in HG/SS. Red released them back into the wild because he had already gotten their Pokédex data, and wanted to battle using the Pokémon he had bonded with the most.
