Off day for the most part, but I did get some editing on C25 done.

643 words. A smaller amount, but I've officially reached the end of the story's critical points with a clean round total of 5000 words exactly! From here on anything I add is simply additional scenes, that, while nice to have, are not strictly necessary for satisfactory completion of the story. Mostly they're just extra action scenes that I think would be fun to write, plus of course some shuffling of details into more organic positions depending on how much I do end up adding.

Been super sick again so I haven't felt up to writing these past few days. I did have an interesting dream last night though, so I wrote down an idea I got from that. Don't think the idea will go anywhere though.

Mostly work on C25. I decided to separate what would've been the second half, so everything from there on gets moved up one chapter.

968 words, completing the dialogue and set-up for the first additional scene, plus rewriting the second (if all additional scenes make it in, the third) transformation sequence to make it less resemble the first one, and give it more of its own flavour. Next on the agenda is the fight for the first additional scene. In the best case scenario, I'll make like the last one and get swept up in the vision, blasting out the whole thing in a day. But that feels unrealistic to expect for every single one, we'll see.

Created more work for myself with another new chapter, mostly as a precursor to the new C26 (...which is now C27). But I got a big chunk of it done already and mapped out the later chapter in my mind anyway.

I wrote a little bit more lore for my story-building game characters today. Hoping to get back to writing at least every other day by the end of the week.

And the new chapter 16 is completed! Just like that, nearly 2.7k words. Gave me some direction too; I'll have some stuff to edit, but in the meantime, I got some stuff down for what is now C32 (it would've been C30 before all these additions) because a good line of dialogue jumped into my mind and I got some extra around it.

I wrote about a half page for my Pokemon fic this evening.

Chapters 14, 17, 18, and 23 all got minor edits to account for the new chapter 16. Worked on chapter 26 otherwise. Just one more bit to convert to actual writing.

Writing a new case. Finished the investigation part. Setting up a fun and funny scene for the girls to do. Almost 5000 words in.

Did a little more planning for this Pokemon fic, I'm definitely going to have to rewrite most of it with the changes I've made so I'm probably just going to start over and save what I wrote before so I can take the parts I like.

Today it was only 316 words, but it's still an important amount since it marks the end of the first additional scene! Now I've just gotta start on Additional Scene 2, and by the time I'm done with that the story should be content-complete!

Four years ago today (March 20th, 2020) is when Training a Demon was first posted for the world. So I edited C8 of the current fic and got that up just now. Besides which, I finished off C26 and managed minor planning and editing of other chapters today.

I had a bit of stalling today for distractive reasons, and needing to figure out a bit of logic. With help of a friend I concluded it couldn't work. C19 and C28 got some edits as a result.

A bit of tiny progress on C27, I guess as I'm the only on writing here recently. Stalled due to distractions and thinking about how things should go.
