What do you want in Gen 6?

I want a moral choice system. A less serious suggestion but it could be cool.

I want the game to be less linear have 17 gym leaders and only require the player to get 8 badges then have wild pokemon and trainer battle levels go up everytime you get a badge to balance the difficulty curve. Then after you beat the game you can turn badges on and off so you can directly influence levels of wild pokemon except in special areas. Rematching gym leader and fighting gym leaders the player did not beat will be unchangable of course.

But if they are insinctent on having a linear game have dual type gyms.

@sonic10158 Yea, you're right!
"Im gonna expand the land Bcuz its awesome"
"Im gonna expand the sea Bcuz its awesome"

I just thought of this, not sure if it would actually be good or interesting, but how about the backstory of shiny Pokemon? I'm sure some of us have wondered how these are coloured differently from the others. I think it would be cool if we had an NPC explain to us how these came to be.

- A female player character whose legs are covered. I have nothing against women who choose to reveal their bodies, but male character designers just so conveniently deciding that all the female PCs have to bare their legs but hardly any of the males do? Girls are people, not eye candy. (Bianca's design was nice, but she's a rival, not a PC.)

- A third-gender PC. I know it's not going to happen. That doesn't stop me from wanting it.

- A "new game plus" option that gives you the option to replay story mode without losing any of the previous Pokemon you've caught. Making them unavailable for in-game use until you beat the Elite Four would work for me.

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear!

I like the idea of a female rival. As well as having that rival be related to the evil team somehow.

I'd also like the new pokemon to have new type combinations like water/fire. As well as having evolutions that bring all the gens together.

Perhaps bring pokemon contests and musical have some sort of reason for being there, rather than just for fun. Like have to pokemon gain some sort of exp.

I also like having more controversial topics in the game, like team plasma.

What would be cool is if later, your rival joins the villan team. Such as team Plasma, galactic, etc.

@Transfinite - I know, it's so creepy that all the girls in the games are sluts. B&W was the worst! Of course her shirt goes way up when she bends over to throw a pokeball... @_@

I can see them adding a undisclosed option at some point.

Some evolutions to Pokémon introduced in previous generations, such as Chimecho. Also, maybe evolutions to some of the less powerful non-evolving Pokémon?

ALSO, WALKING POKÉMON. Because it's cute. :>

A female main antagonist would be refreshing. It's been carried off well in fanfictions before.
I honestly don't care how the female main character looks. Wearing shorts/skirts doesn't make you a slut. If they wear skirts and shorts, fine with me. I think they all look very pretty with their designs. Although, as far as I know, the only girl not wearing short shorts is probably Kate of Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. (Although Solana from Ranger 1 is wearing those tights which cover most of her legs.)
I'd like the return of a female rival, although once again, I don't mind. It would be cool to once again have a rival affiliated somewhat with the evil team. (Silver being the one I'm referring to.)
I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy Gen. 5 for now.
Edit: Now that I think about it, Kris from Pokémon Crystal is also wearing practical clothes. Her shorts go past her knees as far as I know, and she's wearing a long-sleeved jacket and shirt. She's also wearing shoes that match her outfit very well. She also has a pretty nice backpack too.

and for those wondering, here's a picture of Kate:

Edit 2: Now that I see, Kris' shorts don't go quite past her knees. But nevertheless, they're not too short.

I have the most ground breaking idea ever. A non-starter pokemon Grass-type that is actually effective!

Also maybe some more Ghost Types. Moar!

How about villains whos grunts are actually compent and have worthwhile pokemon and that they make you work hard to defeat them. There is also different rankings the villain team's such as elite grunts who carry more powerful pokemon than the regular grunts and some of the executives and behave very similar to the cipher peons. Also the villians would have different variation of grunts for different jobs, like janitors, cooks, divers, alpine specialists, etc

Also I would like to have the ability to buy and change cloths at any time with the help of a key item that preforms as a change room

Omg that would be so freakin awesome lol and like at the department stores you can actually go shopping and maybe at the begining it would be nice to have different skin colors maybe

10 Gym Leaders and more giant pokemon.

I would also like to see them input a system where every pokemon you catch comes in a different size.

Example: Onix = 28'10 , 32'25, 40' etc

Ferrothorn, Executor, Roserade.

And they are plenty of ghost types

Ferrorthorn - Slow, one fire type attack, even without STAB and it's down.
Executor - Slow with moderate defence and weak special defence. 1 Bug or Ghost type move (ghost with stab) and it's pretty much useless.

Roserade is the only one of three you've listed that I'd actually consider using. I'm talking more Grass types that can actually take a bit of damage and dish it out. Something that needs not rely fully on stat manipulation in order to win. Something that could actually be a bit of a sweeper or something.

Also, in terms of Ghost types. *ahem* As of Generation V, there are 27 Ghost-type Pokémon or 4.16% of all Pokémon, making it the least common of the seventeen elemental types.

So it doesn't mean that there is drought some types are just more common than other and ghost types on average are pretty damn useful. sure we need new pokes of each type every gen but I think it is fine though I understand where you are coming from.

Every pokemon has there weaknesses and Ferrothorn is popular in the metagame.

how about move evolutions for past pokemon? Gen v lest me down on that, there are pokemon like mawile ans sableye that need that.

Ferrorthorn - Slow, one fire type attack, even without STAB and it's down.

so by that logic, Gyarados is a bad pokemon because it can be OHKOed by an electric type attack?

and if ghost types were common then they wouldn't be special anymore.

Edit: Ferrothorn can survive a fire attack, mine took TWO Flamethrower from Ghetsis's Eelektross so your point is invalid

Own Tempo Lilligant says hi while Petal Dancing to the awesomeness.

And as Joltik said, what makes Ghost-types special is their rarity. It's the same as dragons.

I was thinking of something like this as well. It would give Pokemon more individuality than any random numbers ever will.
