What does ^'s usertitle tell you about them?

^ is inviting but not particularly hospitable.

(Leviathan is a prehistoric predatory whale)

Eh, that's one interpretation. The term references a sea-dwelling monstrosity that appears in multiple Abrahamic religions (such as Christianity and Judaism). It is sometimes interpreted as a whale, as you yourself put it, but generally sources refer to it as a 'serpent' or a 'dragon.' In fact, the literal translation of "Leviathan/Livyatan" translates to "wreathed, twisted in folds."

Nowadays, it's treated as a catch-all or colloquial term to refer to sea monsters in general; 'Leviathan' is what the acquaintances of my avatar refer to her. She used to be a normal girl until reading a suspicious book transformed her into a tentacled entity.
